When all you can do
And I mean really do, is pray
You have to let go of certain things

You have to step aside be it left or right
And follow the one path, down the one way

Not to mention that you have to be very selective
When determining whatever mood you choose to linger in

And I do mean you choose
Or else you'll falter

At least such a thing rings true to me
Because all I can do is pray for you
And chose my mood and mindset most carefully

Because quite literally as a man thinks
It says, *so shall he be
WORD!

I love my little garden Lord
Which you have given me
I thank you for this heaven
Where I can feel so free

I pray each night to give me strength
To sow more wondrous seeds
And for you to bless the birds
Who fly right in to feed

I bless you for my sight and smell
To enjoy the flowers so
And all the bees and butterflies
Who gently come and go

So bless my little garden Lord
It gives me peace and joy
For I have prayed each night to you
Since I was just a boy

Long time back ,
When I was little ,
I read a story ,
A fairytale

Once upon a time
-------------------------------
-------------------------------
--------------------------------
---------------------------------
and
They lived happily ever after
The End

And my young mind believed
That is how my life will be
when I'll grow up .

And then I realised
this is not how
Realtale ends .
'FairyTale' is the word I found on the eighth page of my book

Time of misery ends
one day , some day
but may be not today

Even summer heat ends
and rain takes its place
which too ends after some days

Smile comes , Smile goes
every minute changing emotion
as life picks its motion

The things in my room changes
as time ages everything
and I get new things

Even the girl I was five years ago
didn't remain the same
I am no longer that vain

The relationship with everyone
which I had , have changed dynamics
Some prospered , some turned tragic

All the little and big things in life is temporary
the things we treasure , and things we don't
Nothing in existence stays permanent
The word from 8th page of book is "temporary"
I've been through 22 years of hell,
under the guise it's a life lived well.

I've seen hatred, I've seen pain,
I've seen how love is just the same.

I've seen a man begging for work,
have his name dragged through the mud and the dirt.

I've seen another asking for his rights,
only to be lied to and denied.

I saw a man tell us about the end of the world,
so he could put us through an eight year war.
And the next man promised hope and change,
but it didn't apply to everyone the same.

Who's to say what's wrong and what's right?
What's the difference between the truth and a lie?
When did it all fall apart in our hands?
Where did the lines wash away in the sand?
And why do we keep making the same mistakes?

I've seen a man walk into a school,
I've seen a man walk into a church,
I've seen them walk out with the same look on their face,
man, that wicked look is the worst.

I've seen violence against a man,
I've seen it against a woman too,
sometimes because no one is listening,
or because they have different views.

Oh lord,
please help the world.
Oh lord,
please help the world.

I don't care what religion you come from,
I don't care if it's mine or it's yours,
I'm just looking for some help down here,
please come and help us, oh lord.

Oh lord,
oh lord.
Oh lord,
oh lord.

Coworkers seeking chit chat
I've a long night at that
Smiling and nodding robotically
If I leave they will hate me

The office party is on
They usually drag on till dawn
I look around for a spot
Just to hide out from the lot

Raising my head I see you
Eyes bright and blue
You look in my direction
I smile to show affection

As you move near me
My heart begins it's plea
Your fragrance precedes
A temptation indeed

Inches from me you stand
I reach out my hand
You slip your fingers in mine
Pulling me close its divine

You whisper in my ear
Why are you trembling dear?
I answer with a gentle kiss
Your smile tells me you like this

My intention is to hold you close
And dance until we overdose
My hands enjoy your curves
Another kiss to calm your nerves

Our bodies move in unison
This night has just begun
Dance with me till daybreak
These feelings I can't fake
For you xo

Mystery man at the library
I see how your eyes smiled at me
Wondering what your story might be and
How did you end up working in a library?
My nose in a book as you pass by me
You arise my curiosity
That awakens my sensuosity

Oh how wonderful words are.
They can empower, they can uplift, they can entertain giving someone the courage to attain their dreams.
Oh how powerful words are.
They can cut deep, they shatter dreams killing one's ambition to never achieve.
