Everything turns to dust -
even you,
even me,
even the bond that binds us now.

I've had many waking dreams
and a few waking nightmares,
but I don't remember most of them now.
They were lost while I was sleeping,
just like us.

Whether I lost you in my dreams
or in my nightmares,
I lost you
all the same.

You broke my wings
That helped me fly.
You broke my heart
With your broken promises and lies.
You broke my bones
And taught me to fear.
But you know what?
***** you.
Because I may be broken,
But I'm still here.

I will burn alive at the brink of dawn
consumed by my passion
and hate
for my sadness can no longer suppress the flames in my eyes
so i will burn bright
what a beautiful demise

He told her she was pottery; a vase with grooves and cracks.
The patterns of the history she hid behind her back.

Within his words he layered in- like thread upon a loom-
The sweetest undercurrent to illuminate that gloom.

In certain cultures, he decreed, when pottery is cracked
They aggrandize them with gleaming gold to bring their splendor back

For they believe, with certainty, once damage has been wrought
Those tiny cracks, now filled with light, hold truths that can't be taught.
Can't you tell you'rr killing me?
Can't you see i'm broken?
Can't you feel i love you?
Can't i just stay whole?**

I got my wings clipped,
My heart ripped,
Stripped, of my pride and glory,
Show me,
how the grass is greener on the other side.

I just, might just, take a risk,
At least, this time I wont have anything to lose.

Set loose,
Who's shoes do I have to wear,
Care,  just to show,
What has been there ever since.

Ever since I abandoned my fear,
Never looking back from the rear view mirror.

A hero to lost causes, forgotten stories,
There's always more to it,
Then that which is told,
Liquid metal in a mold.

Shape your self,
Don't be shaped,
In the end of the day, just like me,
Alone you are left.

Still felt like it was a theft,
Even though I only tried to keep you to my self.
A view on different perspectives.
There are a million points of view to a broken glass.

If I cannot love you as a lover,
Then I suppose,
I'll settle for loving you as a friend
