I am hollow
I am rage
I am mortal man in cage.

I am peak
I am chasm
I am grotesque ******.

I am hot
I am cold
I am broken, all told.
Suicide should only be committed once*
So why the hell do I try every couple months
Something's up with the water
I don't feel the rush like I used to
There's no happiness tutorials on YouTube
I laced together my shoes, through them on a wire and convinced myself to sit and think
The kitchen sink's dishes stink
But you are what you eat and I had a helping of insane

Low key lowlife, broke and high under a spotlight
No ice so there's more drink at the drive thru window with my eyes suspiciously low
I'm ridiculously close to laughing what's left of my mind away
I forgot how it feels to feel fine today
It's either *love
or hate and there's no areas of gray

*I wish I had a thousand hours to sit down and figure out exactly what the **** that I've been running from
I wish someone would stick around long enough to identify with the place that I'm coming from

If you see me fall, do not save me.

For I am learning to grow my wings again.

Because flying solo is the only thing I've ever experienced.

But if I see you fall, I will save you.

For you are hiding your wings from the world again.

But my world has never marveled at anything greater than your beauty.

Grating long drawn out internal fights with myself
I seem to lose the battle before its articulated
cast asunder the weight of darkness, blind and feeble
with scant understanding and resignation looming
a whimper of a prayer leaves a heart half believing
that a God will take all my sorrow and change it to joy
like forgotten days when I was much younger and
things didn't weigh so heavy, things weren't so dark.

i had a dream about you last night. i came to your show to surprise you and i sat in the second row. you came onstage and saw me and you smiled and i smiled and then you came down and sat behind me in the third row and put your hands over my eyes. you said you had a present for me. then i woke up. i don’t know what my present was. maybe you were going to tell me that you loved me. i don’t know.

each lung full I take without payment
taken for granted I breathe easy
without so much as a thankyou
ungrateful in so many ways.

I have been overcome with pain and lots of suffering.
I have been overcome with heartache and desperation.
I have been overcome with dread and loneliness.
I have been overcome with a darkness that has tormented my soul.
It was called hopelessness, but Christ has made me a overcome.
I have overcome cigarettes gambling , and alcohol addiction.
I have overcome  sins, through the Holy-Spirit that dwells within me.
Christ has made me an over comer in this life and the very next one.
Ongoing failures of the Church to act,
will guarantee the sure success of evil;
for faith without works is… still dead
and visible today is spiritual upheaval.

The internal chasm between the members
of both sides -the presbytery and laity-
must be bridged with faithful cooperation,
girded with policies that last permanently.

Even today, God is quietly waiting on the Body,
while the unsaved are queued up for Hell.
Individual Faith is a person’s responsibility,
but the Great Commission impels us to tell…

others about God, His Love and Christ’s Salvation.
After 2000+ years, The World has not misunderstood.
A final solution is required and not yet in place-
each of us must desire to… overcome Evil with good!
