there was a moment in time
when death sat beside me on a park bench
and he had rested his hand on the gap between us

i,

too,

rested my hand there
and brushed my fingers against his

and for a chaste moment
i savoured the warmth of his skin
and intertwined my hand with his

but he stood up

and left

and maybe he knew,

it was for the better.
it was the right option

I’ve Come Undone

Unravelled.
Unspooled.
Undone.
Once upon a time, I
was tightly woven.
A part of the fabric of society but now.
Now I’m frayed. A loose thread.
Pull on me and it will all come
Undone.

I pick up the pen
and I write
because I need
to bleed my emotions
on paper and sometimes I
write
just for the hell of it and sometimes
I write because I just need
to talk to someone anyone
I just need to talk.
for

    once,

   i would

love

      to be

         the poem

and

     not

         the poet

It's never going to happen for me
The brokeness runs too deep
The trauma is way too much to work through
These pieces are the foundations I built myself on
And I've crumbled and I can't rebuild
And I don't want to

If there comes a time
that you might lose me
Find me in my poetry
It is not easy
to feel this way
To change the course
for a moment.

A rightful choice
as it may be?
Just to jump and
walked far away
that side of stupidity.

Now, in uncertain time
embrace the inevitable things
The pains of the present
and that unsound  judgement
Killing me softly
indeed.

Yet, the course of time
through a  sensible ears
Find the real peace inside
and treasures of a lifetime.
