Glancing above
To the star dusted sky,
My heart twists and flips
At the very thought of you.
Of our wild adventures.

Can we be as close as we used to be?
To the blaring sounds of the radio,
Dancing till we're out of breath?
Clasping our hands tightly,
Unwilling to let go?

Listening to our hearts
Beat on endless repeat,
Laughing till we're the only noise left between us?
Forbidding our eyes to escape eachother?

The moon knows
How much I speak of you,
How our secrets tangle in the wind.
How much I long for you to stare up at the night beside me.

When the stars melt amongst the darkness,
They always lead me back your way.
te quiero ❤️

At the wake of morning day
I’m guided far away
Amongst the overgrown gardens and trees
On an endless path to be

Faintest scents of herbs and tea
Scurrying friends chattering beside me
Rising sun dew brushing my fingertips
Alone along forests gaze
Erian Rose May 2020
We look to the stars
Dreaming higher
than rockets could fly
Skipping across the galaxy
To a place humankind has yet to be

We watch in awe
Constellations beaming wide
Taking flight into the atmosphere
One day, Everyone will have a chance to walk amongst the milky way

We draw out our plans
Sending them to the stars
Innovating new generations
To the farthest reach from Earth
Living stardust made to touch Mars
Tribute to the NASA/SpaceX launch today.
Opening the doors to one day have everyone be able to see Earth and beyond from space.

Her fears couldn't catch up to
the warm cinders collapsing in darkness
wildfire coursing through her veins
Erian Rose May 2020
Her palm was a guide
lightning bugs stitched in the stars
Erian Rose May 2020
frosty crystals clung to
light shows on windowsills
they ran faster than their hands
could touch
on the run from racing time
streams of comfort left
rainy roads bare
to them,
nothing on earth compared
Erian Rose May 2020
He'd give her the constellations
bound amid every flower
to hold her close
