the blue of ocean
did meet with the blue of sky
on the horizon

was as if the two
hues of blue were the one shade
in that far off line
a sneaky little draft
blew under the lounge room door
earlier this morning
on higher regions
of the tablelands this very night
snow flurries will fall
clouds of crimson blush
painted the afternoon sky
in a lovely shade
my sister's garden
is looking really gorgeous
it's full of pretty blooms
a light mist tarried
o'er the verdant river flats
as first light did break
blustering south winds
have blown constantly all eve
they're packing some speed
through the tall tree stands
shards of light penetrated
to warm the earth's soil
a luminous moon
sailed o'er the sky last night
on a mystery tour
a confetti shower
of delicate snow settled
on the cottage roof
in a frantic mode
did come the Atlantic swirl
reeking havoc's toll
out toward the west
there's a gathering of clouds
which look like fluff *****
amid sparkling stars
sailed a luminous moon
chartering night seas
with a winning hand
there's an element of luck
it's the dealer's call
#npmluck  #dealer  #call  #winning
pleated valley folds
stretched for miles unto
the far horizon
with temps being so high
a body swelters in the heat
there is no reprieve
adorning night's drape
glittering arrays of stars
sparkling like jewels
glimmering ripples
played on the lake's surface
like diamond sparkles
out toward the west
last vestiges of day light
slowly reclined
spring's seasonal hue
didst come in a primrose bloom
of vibrant pink blush
with a ***** sear
the sun scorched the landscape
in fervent ardor
innate in the embryo
is a universal note
of endless promise
the narow river
slowly snaked a passage
through the wooded glen
a scowling wind blows
through the tall timber masts
their boughs left rankled
rain's pitter patter
plops on my weathered roof
with dampening drops
she so enjoyed
having his hands attending
her ample bosoms
the colors of spring
emerge from winter's cocoon
of white snow wrapping
from creation's full womb
our poetry is birthed daily
for readers world wide
in the creek's shallows
a pair of white ibises
foraged for frogs
as I sat writing
a sneaky twee wee breeze slipped
under my back door
her voluptuous body
engender his ***** to ache
for cohesion's join
the sun's shining beams
did burnish the bushland stream
in a glossy gleam
all of the in store
promotions are attracting
the keen shopper's eyes
volleys of thunder
rolled across the vast skies
resounding their blasts
day draws to an end
a half crescent sun lies o'er
the western sky line
during winter months
trees are naked silhouettes
without their leaves
war is a madness
that causes too much sadness
let saneness prevail
just before sun up
croaking frogs were heard croaking
around the river
his eyes were smitten
with the outline of her *******
under the soft light
a southerly breeze
danced around the elm trees
teasing their leaves
above the roadway
a glassy mirage shimmered
on the long hot day
on the eastern range
plumes of profuse grey smoke
did rise to the sky
light veils of mist hung
o'er the river's snaking course
on day break dawning
a buck kangaroo
hopped across the river
in the early morn dew
this morning the sun
glares with a dazzling stare
that blinds the viewer
corn tassels swayed
in the scorching summer breeze
during December
As I live in the Southern Hemisphere, summer is between the months of December and February. Our season are in reverse to those of the Northern Hemisphere.
as the clock of life
ticks away its years advance
unto a dotage
gelid wind blusters
drove a freezing current's trail
through the snow clad dales
dark heavy brows of clouds
hang over the western hills
they indicate rain
slowly the fog creeps
in our township's sleeping streets
dense is its heavy shroud
