"ugly as we are,"
                      you said to me
                      as you held my hand,
"the reflection of this horrible world
shown on the mirror
every time we look up."

                      you were slowly fading,
and i could see your eyes turning glassy.

                      a tear fell,
                      not only from your eye,
                      but also from the sky
                      to where i looked up
and saw the reflection of the world

"ugly as we are,"
i said with an empty hand,
"a horrible world
without you in it."
Inspired from the song with the same title, used for the Tokyo Ghoul Root A OST. I love how just the background music or piano version of this can speak emotions to me without hearing the lyrics. The meaning of this poem is the same as the song. Please check it out!

You want to **** me?
Here's the knife

Or
Just say,
I don't care about you

**And I'll handle it for you
Break my heart again, I'll be a goner
One day,
I will tire of waiting for you
to love me ~

You will lean back
and fall
finding I am not there to support you

You will turn around
and see the nothingness I have become
having given my all to you

Forgive Me.

True to the words I speak
True to the experiences I have lived
True to the hands I have held
And the faces I have met
Both the ones frozen in time and the ones that held motion
I know to it all a dream that will never be forgotten
A dream I could not make up on my own

And ended with a suicide note*

Sorrowful mornings,
And lonely nights,
With windows closed,
And turned off lights.

Scarred wrists,
And swollen eyes,
Speaks a story,
With no surprise.

A dismal heart,
Needing its cure,
A lonely sea,
Needing its shore.

After all...we're all rivers searching for our shores . . .

And all the "I love you's"he said,

She knew would turn to "I loved you" one day.
