Why must my heart be the prisoner of this ruthless pain?
Why must my stubborn heart continue grasping into this wonderful man I'm in love with?
How can it be this hard?
To love someone you can't have?
How can they make you stay up until the morning thinking about nothing but them?
How is it possible that as soon as you open your eyes,
their beautiful smile
lovely face appear in your head?
That when you're going to sleep, the last thing you think about is them?
How is it possible that sometimes, you never stop thinking about them?
When you go to sleep and dream about them, wake up thinking about no one but them... How?
I'm Wondering How!
How can you allow someone to have so much power over you?
He does something to me, that Man!
I love him
He's making me cry.
She had a figure that was suitable in the sixties
Most days she wished she lived then
On her good nights she dressed in glamour and preened
On her bad nights she purged in bed
Her eyebrows were never quite perfect
She moved to her own vintage tune
She looks to the mirror, sees things to change
None of the creams seemed to do
'Look at me shine, I'll be a star'
She lights another cigarette
Noticing my gaze, she remains unfazed
'My body is my temple, and I've trashed the place'
She sticks her curves out
Exclaims with a pout "I need to lose 10kg'
Then she laughs it away, as if it were a game
If this is a game I know who's losing
She was taught what was important from the start
A confidant gaze, a loving heart
But nothing can outdo the art
Of 45 kilos and worth something
I was the girl from the woods,
The one that didn't hide under a hood.
I saw his face, the boy with no fairy,
When his came to him, he was so merry.
But I knew that he was bound to something besides me,
I knew that as soon as I saw him head to The Great Deku Tree.
Before I knew it, he was crossing that bridge,
I knew that we would be forever seperated by that ridge.
When he left I tried so hard to forget,
My feelings towards him, and that we never met.
But he found me one day, in my place of peace,
He had a sword and a Hylian shield, He wore dark green fleece.
We played our ocarinas, and made our own song,
We could call each other if anything went wrong, and it kept me strong.
7 years passed.. he became the hero he was ment to be,
And it was on that day that he forgot about me.
He stood there with Princess Zelda, they gazed into each others eyes,
Everytime I think of it, apart of me dies.
I've spent nights trying to forget my feelings,
But all I can see is my tree trunk ceiling.
You deserve Zelda over me,
There can't be three.
I want you to be happy with Zelda, this is my choice,
If thats the thing that will make you rejoice.
I will be waiting, and maybe someday we will be,
My name is Saria.. Please Link.. don't forget about me.
The eyes snap open,
Like the shutter on a camera,
Pupils fixed and tracking,
Watching every move,
Pinholes peering into the depths of you,
Leering at your mind,
Keeping record of your every move,
Knowing your thoughts,
Knowing what it thinks to be 'you'
A total surprise,
'no one can tell, right?'
It's like beauty,
Obvious to some,
Invisible to others,
I know ,if you know, and dread these dreams,
Then release me.
