Truth is, life is full of thunderstorms.
And we're all driving as fast as we can to escape the dark clouds overhead.
But every now and then, we pass under a bridge.
And for that split second,
There's quiet...
There's tranquility...
There's peace.
And in that brief moment, we forget the rain.

You will never break me
I can do that by myself
I’ve seen in my life’s undertaking
There’s very chances at help

Every moment is waking
Even when eyes are closed
As I slumber, the ground is quaking
What I’ll wake to, I don’t know

There will always be this fear
Just in different increments
Anxiety dwelling near
And the things it presents

No pity is wanted
This is said for understanding
There caverns of my mind are haunted
By wound, by weight, by branding

Don’t even try to push me
I am falling just fine
I’m not expecting any cushioning
But there’s a slight hope I’ll fly

The wings have yet to sprout out
Whether they will or not, who knows
We all crash, of that there is no doubt
But from it, not all of us grow

I try to find the words
But not even you could
As we sat in silence
Sighing. Realizing
We don’t have it down to a science.
Somethings wrong
That we should be able to fix
But we can’t find it
Because you don’t know what it is.

Like a healed broken bone
I am stronger......

Never to be broken in
the same place again.

God is my healer.
Being healed in your spirit takes time for mending. Once accomplished there may be old aches. A healed injury may remind you that it happened,,,Like when the weather is cold, or rain is coming the body may ache.

There's so many reasons for why not to smile
First, there's a man out there with no home
His world is quiet-colored and filled with trials.
Second, there's women with no freedom
Filling the roles as victims of delight.
There's spirits filled with pride
Greeted by hatred and tyrant crocodiles.
There's men with broken and quiet feelings,
That society has convinced us are good dealings.
Third, there's millionaires with so much money
But not enough to buy them happiness.
Now if you listen closely
Closely enough.
I'll tell you what you need to know about
Smiling.
I saw a lonely girl once, contemplating her existence.
I saw her standing there, aware of the load she bears.
Her eyes were weary and bright.
She looked down with the intention to cry.
I am I,
Lost as a light during the night.
I am I,
Who was blessed with a smile that could convince you of anything.
Smile.
Because nothing is perfect, and that's perfectly okay.

He sat by a furnace of seven-fold heat,
As He watched by the precious ore.
And closer He bent with a searching gaze,
As He heated it more and more.

He knew He had ore that could stand the test
And He wanted the finest gold,
To mold as a crown, for the king to wear,
Set with gems of price untold.

So He laid our gold in the burning fire,
Tho’ we fain would say Him "nay."
And watched the dross that we had not seen
As it melted and passed away.

And the gold grew brighter and yet more bright,
But our eyes were dim with tears,
We saw but the fire, not the Master’s hand,
And questioned with anxious fears.

Yet our gold shone out with a richer glow
As it mirrored a form above,
That bent o’er the fire, though unseen by us
With a look of ineffable love.

Can we think it pleases His loving heart
To cause us a moment's pain?
Ah, no! But He sees through the present cross
The bliss of eternal gain.

So He waited there with a watchful eye,
With a love that is strong and sure.
And His gold did not suffer a bit more heat
Than was needed to make it pure.
