The wind of death follows me
But I run, snaking through trees
Dodging, immortal

A marked child
Banking lives for debt

The horizon is topaz or citrine
Like an Omen hand delivered
If it's even there

The night is a whole year long
I'm an animal inside out

Surrounded by heavy columns
My mind cannot be overtaken
I have built
an internal citadel in the dark

My Inner Friend
Taught me to breathe.
To sing, to dance,
And follow my heart.

We merged
Into One Heart
One body
One Soul
One mind.

Thank you."
My heart overflows
With Love.
As I allowed my heart to be emptied of sorrow, pain, guilt and shame, I learned to sing the songs of joy, happiness, peace and purpose. I learned about our emotions and how to express our negative emotions as tools that alert us to danger and negativity; and I learned how to use more positive emotions and thoughts to move forward in dancing and singing  a new song.

I christened my passenger seat this morning.
I Freed Her of Original Sin, and blessed Her in my own piety;
I scrubbed the boys I loved before from the fibres of the fabric and
I forgave Her. I condoned rebirth.

We celebrate her commitment to True Love, and
we move forward in the light of Helios, and
we honour Her ceremoniously. She is Changed.

She and I run until we run on empty.
She carries Truth in Her cushions,
and Truth grins at me in the May sunlight.

She takes me to the sea and She sets me Free.
She carries me to a waterlogged rebirth and
soaks up every wrong I brought upon Her.
She forgives Me. I am Changed!

If we continue to think, speak, or act with negatively
Pain moves in to stay.

If we acknowledge our pain with Unconditional Love
It sighs relief because it is embraced.

Expressing & Acting with Pure Positive Intention
Attention is given to Happiness & Joy
As pain ebbs and flows into understanding.
Sometimes a simple reminder of a simple shift is all we need. Other times life is more complicated and requires more focused inner work.

The wind blew,
aflame, not burning;
softly, gently, caressingly;
penetrating pianissimi billowingly.

I yielded;
I'm carried along,
effortlessly, unhurriedly,
seemingly randomly.

Little things,
a glimpse here, a sparkle there,
a dash of brilliance now and then,
simple unsurprising things.

Then I looked back, and I see:
how far and how changed I've been;
Truth, simple and little, adds up recursively,
transforming compoundingly.

i **** on the patch of swollen purple on my thigh
pick the scabs my wounds formed
and dance around the beast's smoke

sometimes, i scream at him
tell him to leave
but he always screams louder

i need to bury him anyway
enfold him in the land of past selves and bad habits
and when i do
the light will pour in
as my heart grows golden roots
and the choir sings a chorus of release
while my body sways along

Tibetan Brimstone butterflies wave wings madly at their paradise valley
In the beginning, before the beginning, and in the beginning
Their shaken snow globe makes them flutter in wild exuberance
As they reveal a mountain, then no mountain, then Kunlun again
Peace, followed by chaos, and then by peace
Mother Luna's kaleidoscope of enlightenment
Protected by the hooded one
Holds all worlds and shakes the four seasons
Nothingness, creation, abiding, destruction
The wheel of time
Moves the wind as it’s blown by vast circles of water
Aqua marine is washed again by golden earth
And in the center, the great opal mountain song of La
Nature's peace
Beyond white leopard snows, icy winds, and empty husks of death
Butterflies are born again
Shambhala’s mindful beat opens passage for light through darkness
Poets squint and ride on wings toward the hidden sunset kingdom
Watching another world's Avalon alive beneath a blue moon
Insulated chrysalis of love for all seasons
A fisherman, a carpenter, a shepherd, a merchant, a caterpillar
Discover a lush, isolated, peach grove
Nosing thickly scented nectar and purple primrose honey
In the jade valley of the kings, queens, and beggars
They meditate under the Bodhi Tree
Deep brown ****** lines are carved into their soft olive skin
Smooth hands are made rough, and then smooth again
Young, then old, and then young once more
Wisdom setting beside Queen Spirit Mother of the West
Sharing a bowl of her rice milk in harmony
Being in the realm between man and nature as Kalachakra turns
For six years the caterpillar eats of fig
And then the wheel breaks for flight one last time
Radiating light as she sheds her glorious wings
Here, the snow globe explodes flying petals of wild exuberance
Revealing a mountain, then no mountain, then Kunlun again
Transcending all, turning tears into the suns joyful rays
As they rise, then set, and then rise again

Beyond our Lost Horizon

I loved the 1939 movie, Lost Horizon, and it's story of Shangri-La. It drove some interest in reading about Buddhism... Could we be butterflies reborn? How wonderful that would be... Young then old, then young again. All at once nature and man, one with our universe. Those who seek wisdom find salvation... The caterpillar here is a beggar who finds ascension. Cycles represent the wings flapping. There are also references to universal religious themes.
