the sun envys the moon and stars
he wishes he could have something like they do
but he cant
the moon and stars have this bond
one thats not like the others
its like they were drawn together
and they cant move away
the stars was scared
but the moon promises to keep her safe
to protect her for all of eternity
the sun was jealous of this
he wants someone to look out for him
the way the moon does for the stars
nothing can touch the sun though
they would simply burn.
He brought the sun into the sky each day
She brought booming thunder and rain
He shimmered like gold and smelled of wine
She coward in the corner, shrouded in pain
He prayed his light would be enough
to wash her face of the grimace of disdain
Her hero in armor
Upon her, golden wings does he ordain

The clouds fall away
His glow burning like a fire
Her resistance fading, fear dissipating
His voice carries her higher

When the sun and the storm intertwine
it's as if you're seeing the face of the divine

It is not unusual for stars
to love, cosmic attraction
pulling one to another.

In the beginning when the
earth exploded into being
the sun and moon were
born to govern it.

As natural opposites they
avoided one another
sparing no thought whilst
following their own
cosmic paths, solivagant.

Occasionally the moon would
watch the earth and saw how the sun
nourished and brought
joy to its people.

And in turn the sun noted
the moons protective
shade and pitch night
wherein many lovers
stole forbidden kisses.

As the stars courted they
saw each other wholly
for the sun while
nourishing can also be
scorching and deadly, and the moon though many took comfort in its
glow others took it as an
advantage for carrying
out cruel misgivings.

Finally they decided to
meet, a day was chosen
and for a moment they
were as one.

This did not last.

The people below
panicked at this sight
fearing for their lives their
fervent prayers reached
the heavens and so once
more they parted and took
their immortal stations, everlonging.
Happy new year everyone!

you were the moon, silver and serene,
orbiting my star in the vast unseen,
ww danced in celestial reverie,
two souls entwined in eternity.

ethereal nights, where time stood still,
we wove our dreams with tender skill,
each word, a constellation we cast,
a universe of moments too perfect to last.

but i, the shadow, the lingering storm,
brought chaos to your tranquil form,
a poison i didnt know i poured,
a wound i didnt know you bore.

now you are gone, a phantom glow,
an echo of light i’ll never know,
and ii remain, a relic, forlorn,
a keeper of memories, hollow and worn.

i wander through friendships, faces anew,
they laugh, they love, they call my name,
vut in their warmth, ifeel the same
empty, hollow, a vessel unwhole,
a drifting star with a fractured soul.

perhaps i was cruel, the toxin, the bane,
the weight in your heart, the cause of your pain.
was iever good, or just a façade?
a tempest cloaked in a smile’s charade?

i am trapped in the past, unable to flee,
bound by the chains of what used to be.
the memories cling, they whisper and weep,
their voices haunting the silence i keep.

iwish i could turn back the celestial tide,
to the nights where you stood by my side,
to hold the time, to freeze its flow,
to never let the fractures grow.

but you have flown to brighter spheres,
where pain dissolves, and love adheres.
i hope you’ve found a kinder sun,
a softer light to call you home.

now for me, i drift in the endless night,
a lonely star, dimmed of its light,
hoping one day, the cosmos will see,
the better person i just long to be.
i’m sorry.

how i look to you,
my Sun.
but your light
has blinded me.

i did not see the radiation,
the sunburn,
the slow peel
of my skin from my bones.

i only saw life.
i only saw warmth.

you scorched my retinas

so I could not see

the damage you caused.
The color of my Skin.
The curl of my Hair.
I can feel your the heat vindictive stares.
The twist of my tounge.

I speak my language with courage,
Not with care of your fears
Illigal Alien, They call my kind.
All I want is a place thats mine.

Nomatter, I'll continue to stick out
Like a sore thumb, I will not run
from your vengance.
I'll stay here and take it.

Como un bailador,
I'll twist away from your nasty tricks.
I'll thrive, Child of the sun.
Brown I am.
The land is calling for me absurdly,
To be loved and exploited no more,
I must drench in this blood spilled earth,
Encharging me to reclaim it as my purpose,
The sky,a gazer,
And oft a weeper for the lands man,
The world has never felt so woven,
And melancholy slipped itself back in this sinners hand,
Alas,
My world has never felt so scattered ,
I felt so shallow and all felt so bland,
Though in these marshes I find,
An escape for a life time,
The path unfollowed follows my mind,
The path unfollowed mocks me blind,
And entrenches deeply in my wound,
Now in the path of the wild I must swoon,
To reclaim my sight,
To dream of nature is to dream of youth,
Although the flowers and their wilting ways have me doubt my days,
She is held so high,
And her wilting has me escape a sigh,
She awaits as if betrayed,
From the remedy that the nature has made.
I think I love nature truly

Words can be described,
But when they’re felt, they become magic.
If I felt sunshine, would it be magic—
Or have I just described another word without knowing?
This poem reflects on the balance between understanding and feeling. Words can describe so much, but their real power comes when they evoke emotion—when they feel like magic. I used “sunshine” as an example to question whether the experience of something so simple is inherently magical, or if it’s just another word we assign meaning to without fully grasping its essence.

It’s a reflection on how language often falls short in capturing the depth of human emotion, leaving us to wonder if true meaning lies in the words we use or in the feelings they inspire.
