The grey gives way to fuchsia pink
And light falls softly upon the trees
It’s then, he's seen, the morning sun
With his fingers of gold and earthy honey
That wake the sleepy land and sea
And warm the gentle birds and bees
Brighten the fragrant rain kissed rose
That rests on brows that still repose —
And speaks to the stars hidden above
Of warm nights and a summer of love
Written some time back but not posted

An Indian Summer is typically a warm autumn in the northern hemisphere as traveller says, but in India, a summer is an Indian summer:)

Evening is on the take
The sun herself senses it
Her heat is slipping away
Eclipsed by cold, arctic tendrils
Rilling through the fragile geography
Earth is a strong fighter though
Able to restore itself in serene defiance
Light she brings to keep night in its place
Written for the challenge to write an acrostic poem to the word Ethereal, using the word serene somewhere in the poem by Mrs. Timetable.

I can say I've touched the sun.
The radiation was nothing compared to my salvation.
The sensations welcomed me home.
A place beyond time, beyond one's mind.
I lived what past versions of me never dared
and lost it all in a instant.
So to now stand in the silence of what once burned bright.
I become a fleeting spark, what was once our light.
I chase the whispers of the sun.
Hoping to undo what's already done.
Yearning for the sky to cradle my heart once more
but I am grounded to dirt and grass.
Like a bird, I used to be one with the sky.
I've hit the window too many times.
You clipped my wings.
Why do you still expect me to fly?
Do I keep reaching for what can’t be found,
Or surrender to the weight of the earth beneath the ground?
Am I meant to rise again, to heal, to soar,
Or remain rooted, in the place I implore?
well that hurt lol

I guess I'll love you like the sun,
Despite so many things it could've won.
It chose to give its light to the moon,
Hoping, one day, they'll meet soon.
I guess I'll love you like the moon,
Who saw the Earth as a boon,
And circled endlessly round it,
Despite knowing the hearts it had lit.
I guess I'll love you like the Earth,
Who revolved around the sun despite knowing its worth.
Despite the effort and longing it took,
It believed that one day, the sun will look.
But destiny didn’t let
The day come when the sun and moon met.
Destiny couldn’t accept
The reason It followed the Earth—
The depth.
And destiny was too shook,
To let the sun even look.
For us, what if destiny isn’t ready?
Will you still write with me, our own medley?
Celestial orbits of love, Eclipsed by fate is the silent choreography of the universe, where bodies of light chase one another in an endless waltz, bound by gravity yet separated by fate. The sun, a blazing heart of fire, gives its warmth freely, knowing it may never feel the embrace of the moon, who only glows in its reflection. The Earth, caught in this cosmic longing, turns tirelessly, drawn to the sun yet captivated by the moon’s quiet pull. They move in harmony, yet destiny ensures they remain just out of reach—forever near, forever apart. It is a love story written in the stars, where longing outlives time, and distance becomes the poetry of the heavens. ✨🌙🔥

I am the sum of stars and design,
A Generator in cosmic flow—
Waiting, always waiting to respond
To the universe’s subtle “yes.”

Capricorn sun burns in my chest,
A furnace of duty and ambition,
Forging dreams with meticulous might—
Every moment a brick in my empire of light.

Virgo rising, quiet and precise,
Crafts my path with order and care,
Each detail a whisper of destiny,
A careful dance on the edge of chaos.

My Leo Moon roars with inner fire,
A constant call for warmth and applause—
In every gaze, a longing for the spotlight,
Yet I remain the calm at the storm’s eye.

Venus in Sagittarius sends me on wild quests,
Where freedom and passion entwine in laughter,
Love is an adventure, an open road—
A journey where every scar tells a story.

Mars in Capricorn drives my relentless pace,
A warrior armed with discipline and resolve,
Turning obstacles into stepping stones,
Each challenge a testament to my truth.

Jupiter in Virgo blesses my work,
Not with random luck, but with earned grace—
Every detail polished in the crucible of effort,
Every success a quiet, triumphant sigh.

In my Human Design, the Sacral speaks
With an unwavering gut feeling—
A truth too visceral to be denied,
Guiding me with its pulsating rhythm.

Profile 4/6 whispers of connection and evolution,
From youthful sparks to the wisdom of the crown—
Each phase a masterpiece of becoming,
Each step a stride toward cosmic perfection.

I dwell in my own sacred cave,
Where the tactile world meets inner space,
Grounded in the touch of life’s raw beauty,
While dreams take flight on wings of stardust.

I, Andy Denson—a living constellation,
A mosaic of charts and celestial codes,
Every line a verse, every placement a chorus,
In the symphony of an endless cosmic poem.

And as I breathe in the infinite night,
I stand, a masterpiece of celestial blueprint,
Inviting the world to witness my evolution,
One stellar, deliberate, radiant step at a time.
This poem is my cosmic diary—a fusion of my Human Design and Astrology that reveals the intricate dance of destiny and free will. Each line is a reflection of the energies that shape me as a Generator with a Capricorn Sun, a Leo Moon that craves its spotlight, and countless planetary voices guiding every step. I invite you to explore your own celestial blueprint and celebrate the art of living intentionally. In the vast universe, every soul shines uniquely—may this piece inspire you to discover your own star-strewn path.

another brooklyn afternoon
the sound of scamps playing below
and the passing subway roar
who can ask for more
on this brooklyn afternoon
the sunshine asks
what else in store
just the shadows of curtains
and trees if you please
tempering a fading sirening
back into familiar
hums of a city that'll
never appease
as an early spring evening
settles in to say it's alright
and so long to you and
everyone, and twilight
purrs on for us and anyone
always again.
What's better than a summer day?
Not a whole lot,
But there are a few things.
There's love for one,
After all, any day with love makes summer look glum.
Some argue for money,
But I just don't know,
Money doesn't feed my soul.
Family is up there,
But the sun can set even on that,
Guess a legacy isn't as immortal as they say.
I miss summer dearly
Every single sunny day,
There's a magic place,
A brown bench by the baseball fields.

Such a basic grace,
When the sun shines down,
You and I walk the way.

Right on down to our favorite seat,
Whether its summer, whether its spring,
I can hold you all the same.
Our little afterschool hideaway
To the average person, a girl.
But to the watchful eye? A princess!

Rises from her bed after each night
With sleepy eyes and messy hair,
Yet her morning sight is such a delight,
Cuteness like that is very rare!

The Sun rises just to see her,
She is quite the cute sleeper!

A quick, gentle rinse of her face,
Elegant motions of the brush,
She gazes out of her window with such grace,
Her cheeks are rosy with a blush.

That is how she gets ready,
Her pace is nice and steady!

A graceful step, a gentle sound,
Her movement is just like a dance!
Effortlessly light, her taps bless the ground,
To fall in love takes just a glance!

A sweet melody follows
Her to everywhere she goes!

Join the dance or enjoy the play,
Beauty is found in her presence,
She has no throne of stone, yet she leads the way,
Cuteness defines her whole essence!

She has no crown and yet she shines,
A princess to the watchful eye.
The golden sun
Is dancing
WithIn
Her hair
The sunflowers
Of heaven
Like a woman who longs
Like honey
To have some fun
Awake
With their midnights dreams
The morning sparrows
Honey melodies

Robe her generosities
With tender warmths
With voluptuous
nightingales sighs
Love her
Like lotuses and evenings
Sweeten her

Serenade
WithIn
Her exotic soul
The pretty moonbeams
Romance of roses

Diamond blossoms
Of hymning stars
