Its been a day, long and hard
We've wandered enough,
through this wood
It seems forever endless
Beautiful and painful wilderness
Dont know where we're going,
dont know what we're doing.
Lets settle down in this clearing,
and think about a life heading.
Lets get a fire going..
Keep us warm and keep us company.
Just take out your guitar
and play those strings;
Sweet memory that music brings.
Make me forget all things
Just play those strings;
Hit that octave,
that one's my fave.
I love those strings;
With every pluck a strain vanishes,
Its all i want, every trouble diminishes.
Just play those strings;
There's a promise of new mornings,
Friend, just play those strings.

the strings
that are my mind
are coming undone
without you
here.
fraying at the edges
slipping between
my fingers,
try as i might
to grip them.
there's no hope
for me,
my strings are
coming undone
just like
yours did.

He was a blanket, covering all of me. Fabricated by the most delicate hands, he kept me warm on cold nights. And one of my favorite parts of him is that one string attached to the right side of his neck; it was as if his life depends on it. Because that very string diverged into tiny threads which spread out to his hands and feet, and converged with four other strings that lead to his heart. They are rich in color, and I wonder how just those strands of life sustain him. But sometimes his strings would loop, link, twist and turn, and I would get so tired of being pulled along; every fiber in me started to turn into a knot of uncertainty.
...
He tugged on my heart strings that night though, as soon as I was about to cut the twine we had made with our fingers braided together. That's when I realized I can never really untangle myself from him and from the cross stitch of our crossed fates. Because for us to live, we need all strings attached.
thank you for inspiring me, geene! here's one for you. i love you.

and to wjh, you are the one of the main strings of my and our life/lives. you literally tie everyone together, keeping a solid tight bond. thank you for holding and caring for the svt members in your little precious own ways, and also for caring for us carats. sometimes i would get worried over you, but i remember that you worry over us more. you really are a strong rope which we can all hold on to. i love you so, so much. we love you with all our heart strings.

My heart was a collection of string some pulled
too much dishevelled in arraignment others played
a melody that reverberated Upon a soul but all
were tugged in one way or another.

It was who was playing them at any given time,
friend, lover, all played the strings in a different
way. I was like a string quartet, I was performed
in many an angle in different ways.

Play my heart, make this vessel mimic your needing's
on any given day. but please don't break my strings
as this are the only ones I play, emotional selotape
is easily snapped once you erode the rhythm away.

I have a tune each different to those I meet and how
they feel it should be played. But its still an instrument
of my life, it doesn't need to be pulled all the time.
Its of feeling so be gentle as my strings need rest ok.

Harmonica and strums sail my shores
Tell my whole clan sonny, he ain't good
That I met a troller under a sycamore
He passed me all the love as he veiled

We walked around,camouflaged by leaves
Tell mummy he was a preacher's son
A soul that was open and hid it's stick
Unharmonised in accapellas I drowned

Swingers of melodic stormy strings
Tell sassy to keep her tassels tucked
To calm her tussles and noisy gongs
Shake on the octave of the beats

Whisked dreams of the lost yesterdays
Tell Jimmy to listen to her heart raise
Tie her down, bring her back home
Liberate and let her fly like a wild bird

Our hearts were making the most beautiful music...
However, she pressed the wrong key or I strummed the wrong string,
And now we're making a discordant sound...
One that makes me question the presence of love in our relationship.

My pink cheeks ache from smiling. My scarlet lips are untouched, unkissed. My big brown eyes are overflowing with tears yet I feel nothing roll down my pink cheeks. My ****** heart is just a toy in your hand. As soon as my heart left my body and made it's home in your hand, you played with it. Your tall and sturdy structure that I so desperately want to wrap myself around came tumbling down. You became a child. A little boy that found his new favorite toy. And I became, do you know what I became? I became your puppet, obeying at your slightest touch. My strings are pulled by you. My voice is silenced. I want to shout. I want to scream at you for stealing my heart. All this sound builds up in my throat but only I can hear it. You rotten thief! You stole my heart. I became your puppet. And yet, even though I put on such a spectacular show. You threw me in your closet and locked me away.

before you'll able
to help
others...

understand your
pain first and
confide
to
your
inner
being...

upon listening
you'll reflect
your own,
by then
you can
be connected
to their heart strings...

empathy is a blessing
as it is a burden.
it hurts you more
than it pains them...

just stay
on a steady
phase,
then you'll be
okay...
it feels like i just translated what empathy means... just in my own words, my own way of understanding...

She is dead,
Now I am free;
She had a will
And her eyes on me.
Her will had strings,
But can't you see,
I tore her strings
And I broke free...

She fought me hard,
But still she fell;
She kept me in,
While I gave her hell.
I was her nightmare
She'd never tell;
As weak she was,
She loved him well.

Her will is dead,
And so is she;
The one she protected,
Is no more free--
The one she hid,
Is now exposed;
The one she loved,
Will be disposed.

It cannot be,
She shares my stage;
She cheated death,
And turned the page--
She's alive inside,
Fighting the wars I wage;
She did not die,
*She's crying in the birdcage...
