I feel like I've been chasing you forever
Like you are so far away I'll never reach you
But I know I can't give up
Because I know I will reach you some day
Someday day I will finally make it
I WILL catch up to you
And you will be able to see how much effort I put into chasing you
And how much you mean to me
So when this day comes I hope you appriciate it as much as I will

These words spun,
Like silk,
And occasionally poorly fashioned,
Spider-webs,
From my mouth,
Could all fit so nicely together.
Wouldn't that be the dream?
If these poems could form a book;
A collection?

Some day, I hope we are laying on the grass gazing up at stars and you tell me everything that has ever hurt you and why you hurt yourself. You just let it all out. You will know it's that day when you call me up & ask me to listen cause I promise to hear you out with nothing but my silence around. A day when you don't hold back your tears. When you don't mind a never-ending hug, or me holding you. A day when you keep everything inside till you see me and then let it all out at once because you know I can pick up the pieces, arrange them and let them be whole again. I hope I provide you with comfort like no one else can and that all your scars fade away. When  you can lay your head on my chest and smile or cry for whatever reasons that maybe.. All of this while still gazing at the stars.

Words aren't spoken
Pain piercing me inside
Is regret real?
Or is it really a way of learning?

And it pains me to even say that
For I don't know if I am really capable of that
What is the boundary of loving and selfishness?

Someday, we'll make sense of these
For now, let us live on and be happy no matter what

Is supposed to mean something
But I don't think
It would mean anything
to you
So, I guess I'll
Just stay quiet.

My English professor told me,
Upon entering class,
But as I sat in my desk,
I mused,
Perhaps God created English,
So that you and I may converse.

Someday the moon will not shine at night and the sun won't rise

Someday my soul will leave this body and the remains will be dust

Someday I might rise with the sun and maybe I won't
