Have I been too revealing
Employing too much wailing?
Were the drums a bit too much
With epic trumpets playing?

Have I been too obtuse
Or did I veer into rambling?
Could I have better laid it out
Without elaborating?

Have I done justice to the discourse?
Did I mis-count the charging horses?
Did I include sufficient angels?
Was I true to my sources?

I trust that I did hold true
To heavenly inspiration
That the words will stand the test of time
And bring true revelation

But if I did stray from the truth
If it all seemed way too bleak
Please respond with due good grace
It's only my first week.

Cloud formed above with a cold shade
Walked with his heads down, humble
He put smile on every face, never fade
People adored his honesty, they mumble

Whether you disagree the fact, he told it
Said it for the grace of the people, he loved
Got the message and he put his life for it
They spat spite inspite his honesty, hated

The believers, the supporters, they failed
Couldn't help the prophet but to obey him
Never atttack back, just defend, then exiled
They sieged lands, helpless, went with him

Years later, commandments descended
Won their land back, no more bloodshed
Freed the slaves, freedom for all, but laws
Women be brave, you're safe, no more bows

Except for your God
Rabee-ul-Awwal 12 (Arabic Hijri Calendar) is the day, the leader of the Muslim Community, Prophet Muhammed (Peace Be Upon Him) born. The same day after 63 years he ascended from the world. We praise His thrive to bring peace into a Dark Aged world then. It was then people hated to have baby girls born. They were ashamed of it. They even burried them alive to hide their dignity among the others. When Islam descended on Prophet Muhammed, who, then was a honesty little lad doing the right thing and helping the poor ones, he tried his best to gather people to Islam and bring peaceful atmosphere among the evil society. Later, when God gave the permission to fight for their lands and wealth, Prophet Muhammed (s) led the society with courage and understanding. There were lots of dos and donts in their battles. To only fight against the army and not women, old people, children. Do not even destroy any trees or animals. Any houses or water sources. Fight with rules. Amid the wars they won, they freed the enslaved after a while. The slaves were delighted to see how beautiful the religion they were against was. Thousands converted to Islam and embraced the world of happiness and equality.
And as per this year it's December 12, the day He came to us and left us.

I call all prevaricators liars.
They’ve set the world on fire
They’re walking on a wire
And I’m their jeremiah.
Our government is bad
The worst we’ve ever had
When it is fixed, we’ll all be glad.
And thus my jeremiad.

I shout my warnings aloud
Be not so blindly proud.
Our country lives under a cloud;
And we all wear a living shroud.
Snoozing through a pack of lies,
We should wake up if we’re wise
Look at what is before our eyes.
Heed what’s in the common cries.

Are we living behind barbed wire
Only seen by this jeremiah?
The time is now, the need is dire.
We’re threatened with a funeral pyre.
If freedom for all is a major threat,
We haven’t got democracy yet.
Rather than struggle under regret
WE fight a war, don’t forget.

I, the jeremiah, I make you uneasy.
I want the oppressors to be queasy
I want all of them to tease me
To change their ways to please me.
I won’t be polite, use kindly words
I gladly tweak the pompous overlords
I will continue to use my vocal chords
And call them out across the board.

And the Prophet stood before the people
(in his polo shirt and straight slim jeans)
And spoke, (and laughed, and sang)
and shared some of their Father’s dreams

“Step out and be unspectacular
Leave the weird behind
God selects right royal mess-ups
And then renews their minds

“Think God-thoughts, glimpse your destiny
But be willing to get it wrong
Father rewards the risk takers
Not those wanting perfection

“The Spirit searches all things
Even the deep thoughts of God
And we can grasp what God is saying
Because we have the Spirit of God”

Words float
Through my head
Though they do not escape,
If I were to give them my voice
I'd be hanging
By the neck.

You pollute the room
With absent minded words,
Yet you expect an audience
To applaud
The things you spew.

Behind my back
Speaking words of wisdom,
Noone likes a prophet
Who can't open his mind,
Before his mouth.

I took him in to all of my sacred places and
He learned all of the ways that I pray.

Our hearts met on one accord,
or so i thought.
Our bodies met, that much I knew,
And him?
He knew me not.

To his credit, he works swiftly.
Eyes like ice but his love was colder.
His voice; perpetually shaky but his
Hands were bolder.

I paid for his piety with the promise of
Always being aloof, always remaining a mystery and
He let me think I was his religion.

I was a lesser god.
He was hellfire.
We danced until the world burned.

Be careful of who you love, and who you let love you.
False prophets have silver tongues.

We rode to Ta’if on a flying carpet
— a Toyota with a missing hubcap

sweeping through  fattened clouds
which clung to the hilltops like grazing bison

arriving on the otherworldly plateau that wore
the death shroud of an old hermit’s mystery

which our Prophet reached in sandals as ******
as the deck of a Nantucket whaling ship

Arabian Himalayas. He climbed like a yak
and the Lord strengthened his steps

Our taxi driver — as lost as the cheque in the mail —
poked at his satnav and called his mates

The Almighty’s beloved followed the angel and
never lost his way. He strained with pain

Our driver’s mirrored eyes intruded while we
held hands on the back seat and yawned

The Lord smiled down upon his aching friend
and eased the pain in cramping calves

A sagging mosque now hunches where the ignorant
had cast away the chance of a lifetime

Oh think if they had taken him in — Medina
would sit as a happy king on a mountain throne

I immortalised my love in a photo in that mosque
praying as a saint where our hero had struggled

I adore my captured shaikha and the memory
of when we followed in the footsteps of our Prophet

Baal was a phony god that was worshipped by many, including King Ahab and Jezebel.
Jehovah put it upon Elijah to prove to the people that he was the true God of Israel.
Satan created Baal to turn people away from Jehovah God.
It took Elijah to prove to the people that Baal was a fraud.
Elijah knew that he could show the people the truth and make Baal falter.
He told them to slaughter a bull and use it for a sacrifice on an altar.
Elijah told them that Baal would be the true God if he could burn the bull but no fire came.
But then Jehovah God sent down fire and burned the sacrifice and that put Baal to shame.
Even though Elijah had the wood and bull covered with water, both still burned.
The people saw that Jehovah is the true God, that was the lesson that they learned.
King Ahab and Queen Jezebel promoted Baal worship and it was something they came to regret.
Both of them ended up dead and God was pleased with Elijah who was the boldest of his prophets.

oh, God bless the boy
who was born from
blue cigar smoke, and bled
filthy water from arteries
that never made it back to his liquid heart.
please, angels, save the boy
from the stones tied to his frozen feet
when he thought he could walk on water,
and the pearly-eyed sirens singing
with empty promises woven into the harmonies.
pray, heaven, keep the boy
keep him locked up
and rattling the golden gates,
take him by the weary wrist
and shackle him,
keep him loyal
with gifts of ambrosia and wine
and he will build his own altar.
here, people, worship the boy
where he offers a bleeding eucharist,
there is dirt beneath his thumbnail
as he smears the line between
sin and sacrament.
tell them this is your scripture now.
and you-- you, forsake the boy,
climb the ridges of his crooked spine
and do not look down,
where cast from shining heaven
he raises his ****** palms;
this is the rotting skeleton
of the tower he built to the sky.
God, bless the boy, the water is boiling,
and even the sirens fear him now.
started this one on a trip in the White Mountains, finished it I don't know when.
