I struggle and I fight.
But my goal fades of into the fog.
Losing sight of my persistence.
Weeds pulling me down.
Feeding the resistance.

I can't stop, I go down I won't have it in me to pull up.
Don't give in.
Break the chains of the corrupt of heart.
Muscle that birthed the sword for my back.

Persist.
We are made
to persist,
to complete
the whole tour.
That is how
we find out
who we are.

Homage poem.
someday i will be a man
with a kind and righteous heart
even when love does not find me
i'll still have a lovely start
for although i’m not a charmer
and although i am insane
a righteous light may guide me
through the shadows of resentment and pain
i once wrote a poem called "shadow of regret" now that that stage of my life had ended, this is the refutation to that, being righteous did indeed guide me through that resentment, and all it took was a little persistance
Don't stop now, you’re making good progress
History is being made
Please don't stop, wow, it is a lot of stress, yea
But think of the glory and fame
Carry on child, though your path be harsh
And your life be filled with pain
Carry through the wild, you are a shooting star
And you have a lot to gain
Failure is my teacher
And success, my graduation
Love does not come from above
It comes from determination
Persistence and passion will rebel
Redemption will be mine
I will no longer accept to fail
My restitution will be sublime

"Not too long to go now," your bones squeak,
Your feet has seen things, your eyes have travelled far and wide
The promise of a new land
That peeks through the stony shreds
The quiet murmur of freedom the masses dream of,
For justice to finally matter.

And oh, how the heavens creaked open
Illuminating its light on all that is holy
'This land is rightfully ours and it shall be with the rightful owner' you demanded ever so gently,
People of the land marching in solidarity on the barren sand cheering,
"We're with you bapaji, never give up!",
And the foot trails you leave behind unshackle history and make new ones
That will be whispered in centuries from now.

The road forks ahead, ever more complicated and rusty,
But you trudge on to not break those hearts
That have taken upon themselves to beat against yours,
Your walking stick stabs the earth as you inch towards the promise behind those walls.

Not too long to go now.

Sometimes the rain felt almost absent from the humid air, but for the largest of raindrops, that fell occasionally upon your eye, causing you to blink. Today, it was a mist, the drops so small as they speckled your grey t-shirt, that you hardly felt them.

I create for the joy of creating
To journey through it,
The end, is again, the beginning

The result,
with persistence,
patience
and determination
Is magic

A box teases me
But aching limbs say, "Beware!"
Macadamia....GO!

***it is easy to fall,

Can you tell me how it feels to stand after you fall?
How to regain your strength after losing a brawl?
Show me that failing is simply growing better,
& show me through actions and not simply letters.
