I am lost
in the breeze
of endless evenings -

Your laugh,
the playful gurgle
of singing ponds.

~ chill out evenings ~
Poetic T May 2020
I was always moving around,
a step that stops isn't
meant to be moving anymore.
               Well I'm always being told.
So I carry on walking.

But in my line of
work, I'm on the road
more often than I'm not.
                    And some times I'm
in places just mere hours.

Could I stay, would I
want to ever settle down,
don't know really, I sigh.
If I were to quit
            my day job, I laugh..

Go on as you mean
to, tread faster than
the foot behind you.
I'm always on my toes,
          A trail of breadcrumbs.

That's all I leave them.
        Wish you were here's,
wrote in blooded pride.
       Silent but deadly, leaving odours.
A new man walks in pride..
Its nice to hear children laugh.
Not until its 1am.
my kid always disturb me with laughter
not but at the mid of night.
i went to her grave to beg her.
Neither will she listen to my apologies.

When you’re sitting in a dark room yet you come to realize you’re mind darker
People see you and will judge you to be the happiest girl in this universe
They don’t know you’re only here because something always stopped you
With a smile on your face always laughing trying to plot the way you will disappear
Those days turn into weeks and years
When will this day appear

him
the remnants of his laugh was the mere ringing in my ears
and the touch of his fingers
a phantom feeling
yet my skin prickles
and a shiver slithers
down the length of my spine
how could i forget the colour of his eyes?
ones that held the sun inside
every stare lights my flesh ablaze
how could i forget the colour of his voice?
each word spoken lined in gold
dazzling like his smile
oh, that smile.
and when my words faltered
and stumbled on themselves
he'd card his hands through my hair
but the world has different ways to torture someone
i won't be forgetting him anytime soon.

i once heard a comedian
bemoan his career
i need to get up and do the thing
i need to get onstage and make the folks laugh,

for i am the gatekeeper to another world,
and when i open the great gilded doors,
for you to walk through
you will have entered a place
of make believe
and candy
sugarcoated walls,
and flowing rivers of chocolate

your pain will have subsided
your worries
if i have done my job right
will have melted onto the floor

remember those bills?
i dont either!
they have vanished into
my topcoat
your woes are all with me now

and i am prepared
to carry your weight
when i arise
in the morning

i know a heavy transaction
will occur
this exchange
a laugh for your burden.

i am not just a comedian
i am a burden collector.

Tapping then pounding
at the door, I moan the time
having to wear pants
