It's the fourth of July 2019
bittersweet fireworks illuminating darkness
shockwaving my soul earthquaking this tower
at Richter scale 4.4 to 8
aftershock warning doomsday
feeling fullfilled revered cherished and adored
in dream modes alone
all this needed for balancing
the darkmess of ignorance
but how the poisoning past
profound loss defeat
in body and in heart
lifetime felloman injustices
loneliness abominable solitude
How to balance fate
ill karma bad luck regret
when dreams is all that remains
illuminated by the blast and
sorrowful bitter sweetness
of true July 4th
revered heartfelt fireworks
How? I'm telling you how
The joy and happiness
of all others is my own
My pain and suffering belongs to my enemies I am balanced
in the scales of injustice endured
forgiveness to grant
as others may ask
but most never do
In all this and lots virtues
more
thinking myself true
feeling myself whole
gracefully achieve I

Inspired by Poet Pagsn Paul's poem "Balance"
I am balanced in darkness
I love life children apeace me
the kindness of strangers felt
balalnce my inner core
the prayers of family estrenged the joy and happiness of others is my own! all this balances the dark in my world.

of thee I sing
America, reborn
Four July, any year,

though now, fewer believe, the lie vented
invested
infected
invention of persuasion, magic as hell.

We hold these truths
we hold them
hold them

behold, we hold
these truths, self evident.

Or you ain't we,

the people.

When I first found love it was like a smoke bomb on the 4th of July
Blocking my vision and pulling all focus towards it
And when the smoke cleared I was left with nothing but nothing but poluted sky and the smell of burned salt

When I first found love it was like the snow in March
It was beautiful and calm
But left me cold and longing for what I had before it came along

When I first found love it was like the falling of leaves
It was fun for a time until I realized the fun was over and I then had to work to clean up the mess I had made of my grandmother's yard

When I first found love it was like riding my bike for the first time in the spring
It started rough, but I found my footing.
I found myself overconfident in what I had achieved and before I knew it, I had banged up knees and was crying from the blood.

When I first found love it was like my very first stage dive.
I jumped to the edge and found the perfect spot where I knew I would be caught.
And then I jumped. And no one caught me.
I was on the ground. Surrounded by laughter. You're such a fool. I should have known better.

When I first found love, is when I first found myself.

Alone.

But finally free
Nothing to do with my current relationship, just reflecting on the past and who I am today because of it

am i worth it?

the question i ask at 2 am
when my eyes start to feel scratchy
and my mind feels foggy

or on the fourth of july
watching those blue and red explosions
grace the dark blue sky

or walking through the autumn trees
to step on their crisp leaves
to make that satisfying sound

am i, though?
does my life
have any meaning?

i want to choke on the alcohol
that cannot intoxicate me
as much as you
i want smoke that emits from my mouth
just to feel that constant feeling
that burning sensation
on my throat
because it reminds me
of you
remember that time at the balcony around 10 pm when the streets were lonely and the only thing i could see where the smoke puffs youd make as i listen to u tell me stories about the person i liked.

The salty breeze stings
her skin as she looks wistfully down
at the sea below.

You remind me of the changing leaves in November.
The shine and glitter on the snow mid December.
The soft pound and beat of buckets of rain,
becoming prepared for the blooming in May.

Every single day has not always been a moment to cherish, but without you by my side I would certainly perish.

You’re the shining warm sun on my face in July, and the clear blue ocean which continuously whisks by.

Most days I easily take this for granted,
yet others it’s as if my soul simply demands it.

An intensity that can last a lifetime my feelings for you evolve past one night-shine.
There’s a sharpness in the clouds as the sky turns grey, you’re the moon in dark hours when I go astray.

The malleable Earth to its rigid core,
I find you all around me, within the depths out of reach.
Forever more.
