The worst mistake you can make is to take nothing form the past
You break your vows to contemplate the feelings that won’t last
The mind will break into your soul and rip out your desire
Your body punches through your heart and sparks another fire

How could people die, I'd ask
In the springtime of youth
Most ignorant, find

Now I know, why people die at last
When the aches and the pains
Persuade, the mind

For they pass
And pass
As all do in time

And the new want of me
Is mine
This time

Because now, there is no one
Who remembers my ask
Noone outlives the time
Dying is fine

I miss you like the December earth
Misses the sunlit rays on a cloudy day
Cold for you I yearn each dawn
And churn and burn as the aching Pacific waves
A crashing hope upon wishes bent
At 11:12 my world set straight
And all that a man can do is wish
That this will be the fated day
You walk into my life
      And stay
A storybook demands this stop. As Hollywood would guide me down the inevitable plot. But as for me and my house, I wait and burn for a deeper love.

Ick, screens are so shallow. LOL.

Sitting on a deck watching the rain over the river I can’t help and ponder!
After a weeks worth of days mostly filled with rain,
And the pitter patter on the roof hardly even noticeable.
Brings me to think how we always complain it’s too hot or it’s too cold and, and, and!
Instead of embracing what we have we seek the negatives!
Is this how we as humans were made?
Or is it our choice ?
We have to see that for every situation, no matter how grave it may seem or how much we are at a loss, there is always a positive to every negative!
We just need to start embracing the positives!
Life is Good!
Life is as beautiful as you want to see it!
For if I wanted to be short sighted, I would have only seen the rain drops on the water!
Yet there be so much more!

In the false spring, there was light

                                                               Epiphany

                               Eureka in technicolor

But blinders above centrifugal spokes
                     scattered through prisms
           a deflection of armor
And

                                   The rain came.

                                                                                       Light remained.

But what previously perceived
                       as vibrancy
was shattered in repeat streams
                       of disbelief
over every evil stitch seamed
in the fabric of my clothes
                                                                     And Rose-

Colored glasses gave way
                                                without rest
                external tempest
                                                with self-inflicted misery
I could not leave.

                                                                    And now I see
that the foyer of this love
                                               was not chromatic
                                               was not prismatic
                    though gaudy, flashy this all-encompassing
Prison of color
                                  was nothing but
           mediated, alternating, monopolizing
                                  preoccupying
                                                                    Shades of Blue.

                And then there was you.

The false spring melted down
                    to fragments in cracked glass
Wiped my blood from broken mirrors
                    no longer asinine and crass
Still mentally impounded
                                                 in emblems au courrant
Took a sip from poisoned drips
just one more scar to flaunt

But every day in smaller strides
                                 the forage cleared and scorched
The winter came with sleet and
                           Rain
                                                             another touch to tortured

And as the ice begins to melt
and false spring lays to rest
With you there are no problems except
                                                                         where to be happiest
And when the spring came, even the false spring

I'm so glad to know
That I'm not the only one
With stupid dreams
And social anxiety
It could be you and me
With your umber eyes
And that'd be alright
Yes, I did google "other words for brown" to get that title. Fight me.
