Your love is like blanket
For when it gets too cold
Wrap your arms around me
Keep me warm.

But when it gets hot in there
I need step out for air
I'm drowning in you, falling hard
Dismantling each little guard.

And now it seems theres no escape
Maybe its love, maybe its fate
Either way there is no cure
But I'm hungry and  I need you more.

The love that has no name.
A fiery force so strong yet forbidden.
The most honest love can be divided in to two.                             Those who can’t concieve, blame it on greed.
They also accuse of acting on whim and fancy.
Mrs Evans, down the road, thinks it’s for lust.       Hidden on the bookshelf, locked away, descent into dust.
I'm not promoting dishonesty, I'm not defending adultery.

But we few, we true seers into our souls, confess.
For you can love more than one, what man could not?
A little controversial perhaps. Just a thought, because we were all thinking it.

i wanna get lost in
your chocolate eyes,
and extinguish my hunger with
*your vanilla lips.

My body is frozen and my heart is filled with dread,
I see her shock with the shaking of her head,
I screamed out “NO” and offered to take Prim’s place,
Effie called his name to and we went up with haste,
They took us to a room where we said our goodbyes,
I promised to win as I started to cry,
The group was quiet as we boarded the train,
I meet out mentor Haymitch and he seemed far from sane,
We meet the other tributes all different in size,
Some seemed very foolish but other seemed wise,
We practice all day to make sure we were fit,
For the pain we will endure will be far worse than just a hit,
I know I should save Peeta as a repayment of my debt,
But I remember my promise to prim and I’m filled with regret,
After I say goodbye to Cinna I see the Arena and feel pain,
Why did Peeta and I both have to be in the Hunger games.
Another old poem I wrote about the first Hunger Games novel.

Flesh* was the *delicacy
Upon dead lips it was warm,
Blood did taste like a wine of
Seventy
Four
Years
The younger years
Were drank to fast,
To tender from the bone,
They never lasted long,
Till the
Hunger,
Fever,
Starvation
Of the dead took hold,
Yearning for the warmth,
"bodies numb"
To digest, blood still pumping warm
There was less living to feast
Only the cold hunger,
Like packs we hunted,
Never in need of rest
Rotting on jagged bones
Minds,
Bodies,
Soulless
Hunger that needed, wanting
To be fulfilled
We feel
We feel the hunger
We feel the hunger of the flesh,
We are dead in the heart but warmth
Is our comfort,
Warmth of fresh flesh, blood
Coursing down our throats
I consumed a vintage
Forty
Five
Old
She taste bitter, but we drank our full
Till nothing left,
We hunger for warmth, we are the **dead.
Was really hungery when this came to ink..

You are essential
Like water that needs to hydrate dry bodies
And nourish growing trees.
I need you like the earth needs the sun
And how the moon needs the earth
And how humanity needs oxygen.
I thirst for you
Like a carnivore thirsts for blood
Or how she thirsts for pulls
Of cheap ***** on Monday nights.
You are the droplet of water running down the car window
As I look outside I barely see you
For I am mesmerized by the lights and the charisma
Of night.
Eventually as the sun begins to rise,
Waking the earth with her essential light
I notice you resting on the window.
My hands are very dry,
So I roll down the window
And rest my hand outside
Feeling the cool drops of you
Quench my need for love
That I feel I'll never fully
Receive.

I think around the clock,
I need some food in me.

There will be no marker here,
no X to mark this place in time.
When golden comforts sang lullabies
to our horror and fear
and somehow convinced us
that Death was nowhere near.

Night succumbs to day
like a tired Spanish bull
to the matador's sword.
A strange magnetic pull
ushers us forth from our beds and nests
to face trials and tests
instead of sweet dreams.

Still, it seems
that there will be no memorial
left to honor The One
who, in a single act, pulled back the veil.
In some small way, we all hail
from the hedonistic, over-simplistic
existence of the 'Gods',
but The One showed us
that in times of pain and sorrow
we conjure the strength to greet tomorrow.

I don't miss the lightheadedness
I don't miss the fatigue
I don't miss the secrets
I don't miss the planning
I don't miss the fixation, the obsession
I don't miss the emptiness

But

I do miss the willpower I used to have
Too much chocolate
