Like a kid in a candy store
I was loading up big
Filling arms and hands
'Till nothing else fit

But up at the counter
They gave me the bad news
The price was work and time
And I was overbooked

So I pushed aside the pile
And picked up one tiny thing
Hoping it was worth the price
Of all my other dreams

if i was given three wishes, the first would be to forget every word he's ever said.

the next would be for my parents, even though they haven't gotten everything right.

the last would be eternal happiness for everyone else, because mine would be attained with the first.

Maybe at the end of it all, our souls just evaporate into sunshine,
and we've been fighting for no reason all along;

If you want a rainbow,
you need to tolerate the rain.
You want power?
Learn to love your pain.
Accept no other definition of life but your own,
but keep an open mind.
Without evil you wouldn't recognize peace.
If you never know hatred you wouldn't know kind.

You say I make you light as air,
when it's just you.
You are the wind,
I am a river running alongside.
With passionate fire,
we could make clouds for the whole world to see.
Our DNA may dance in different patterns,
but we are still connected.
Our brainwaves might be different,
but we're tuned into the same station.
All is in motion, seen or not.
All that we are is all that we've got

If you want a rainbow,
you need to tolerate the rain.
You want power?
Learn to love your pain.
Accept no other definition of life but your own,
but keep an open mind.
Without evil you wouldn't recognize peace.
If you never know hatred you wouldn't know kind.

Take imagination from the Human species.
See a bird with no beak or wings.
A book with no creases.
See a kingdom with no peasants or kings.
A car with no engine.
Imagination is passion, passion has personality.
Strangers are real, love is necessity.
Hot like fire, burning with desire.

If you want a rainbow,
you need to tolerate the rain.
You want power?
Learn to love your pain.
Accept no other definition of life but your own,
but keep an open mind.
Without evil you wouldn't recognize peace,
If you never knew hatred you wouldn't know kind.

As I sink in desperation
Trying to steal a breathe
I close my eyes
Counting one to ten

I imagine you right next to me
Never once have I felt this way
The need for someone to hold me now
Till now I can't comprehend

I am nervous and flustered
To you and only you
I hope you will soon realise
The agent of fortune i see in you.

I am just a normal girl
who hopes to be your muse
So would you look into my eyes
And turn me into your one and only jewel ?

Waiting in his castle;
For one queen.

Tell me what you see?
Tell me what you think?
I am like a piece of art in a museum.
Visable for everyone.
But only a few people can see what I truely mean.
I am like a book in the bookstore.
Everyone can see me but covers can be misleading.
Only one will get to read me.
Find the true me.
See my deepest secrets.
My darkest fears.
My hopes, my dreams, my everything.
I am like the rain.
Some people will only get wet.
Others will feel me falling on their skin.
This are the people I want to live with.
But they scare me too.
I am a poem.
Everyone can read me.
But only a few can read between the lines and see what I truely mean.
And I would love to meet someone who feels me like that.
But it scares me.
My true self being visable.
Vunerable.
All my fears, dreams, secrets, hopes open to see.
But I am ready.
Ready to show, to share.
So please take a look.
Maybe you are the one who sees me.
about a friend or lover, someone who understands and truely sees

In
Limbo.
Foot-in-doors.
Perfect opening lines.
Holding on to high hopes.
These beginnings are unfulfilled
Books started but never finished.
A seed planted but never watered.
Ideas thought off but never sought.
Best laid plans becoming ephemeral.
Music ending with an interrupt cadence.
Weighed in balances and found wanting.
*Wanting.
Never
Getting.
Starting.
Never
Finishing.
Just a little ditty on where I'm at currently. A little hyperbole but the sentiment is still tru
The years go rolling by
leaving behind  only memories
precious ones
dark ones
unforgettable ones

The years go so quickly
children stomping in mud puddles
teenagers talking on the telephone
music changes
and we keep on going strong

The years have surpassed us
with shattered dreams
broken promises
painful nights
tears that fell like rain

But again in a new light
the years have given us
new hope
new love
new dreams
and a reason for living

The past lies in the past
the storms are long gone
think of tomorrow
and remember
today is a gift

Painted the scene you wanted seen,

hiding the scars of what had been.

Scene ends, you return to the night,

where demons haunt your lonely mind,

You continue to try and find,

the answers to make the wrongs right,

but so many lies have been told,

Your hopes are starting to dissolve,

fearing there is no end in sight.
