yet
when people put their love and faith into something
it's hard to get rid of the thought
the ever cursing pull of gravity towards this one thing
for me, it was your love
i wanted it so badly
but i knew i was just going to get hurt
so i didn't put my love and faith into you
yet you put yours into me
for my new crush

I've always been fascinated
with the center
of gravity.
as if gravity was
a being
all tucked away
under my skin
and my waist
was its headquarters
like this being
just decides
to make me clumsy everyday
like this being makes me walk
in my funny little way
people like to call others
their
center
of gravity
but however
weird and awkward and clumsy
mine decides to be
ill forever be grateful
my center
of gravity
is
me
self absorbed, yes, but poetry is all about talking about problems and this is one of mine
When gravity has shifted & everything has changed,
and the hopes and the lives and the dreams  rearranged.
I push ink into paper & draw visions with words,
so the hopes and the lives and the dreams will be heard.

I find myself free falling
pulled by gravity
watching the ground slowly sneak up on me
and if I knew a way to slow my fall
maybe it would be your arms
that caught my all
but you seem disinterested
distracted by the sky
I'm just another spec of dust
something that's in abundace to find
But then again, maybe I'm not.

I walked a spiraling Stare back at the abyss: Leaping forward walking I see the rage of a Cross, four-dimensional Pebbles shattered stained To the side, spiraling back,
cut-up and found what if I walked on them giant drooling drunken mirrors obtuse staircase haunted confusing gravity,
nothing up from mushrooms woman lighted flexing looping,
at apex; a mirage? that can cry; all around; tesseracts; infinite; at quantum.

Lead kindly light, vigil

woman,
angel face.
Surrealist poem reflecting on mortality.

'Lead kindly light' is from the famous hymn 'Pillar of Cloud' by John Newman

i will love you
until my heart pumps so hard that my veins burst through my skin and attach themselves to the mattress, spreading across the walls and feeling for your body in the darkness

i will love you
until gravity becomes old fashioned
we'll wear it as vintage
falling into each other
all over again
for old time's sake

i will love you
until we explode in mini supernovas under the scrutiny of God's microscope
and our dust fragments tumble,
then settle snugly,
spooning on His bookshelf.

to encrust the covers and begin another story
your love is like gravity
it grounds me to the earth

I just have to hold on
and put one step in front of the other

some days I want to float away into nothing
but then I remember I have love that
roots me here in reality with all its gravity
grateful for love that grounds me and not the one leads me to illusion and fantasy.

HE GRABBED HER FACE AND
PULLED HER IN LIKE SHE WAS
HIS ONLY REMAINING SOURCE
OF LIVING, LIKE SHE WAS THE
GRAVITY KEEPING HIM ON EARTH

I forgot what it’s like to be up in the clouds,
to breach the haze and see how the sky
makes the Sun feel at home.
I forgot how from my window seat
there’s a movie out there, an ocean
of difference between us that’s not
so different at all.
Today we defy gravity.
What movie will we see tomorrow?
Will it be like this, one we never tire of?
One we can watch over and over again.
Randi G Dec 2014
There is no cure for the
Gravity and the calamity
Of the situation at hand.
Entropy demands to be
Noticed, and chaos pines
To be felt.
“I will not be ignored.”
