The birds returning to their
Nest , the little ones under
The night sky , the stars shimmering
Like a wiggly worm , mom looking
At the young , Tired unable
To move , she cries and pebble
In the nest , falls below on
The ground , all burnt upon
The soil dead , the pain
The animals , no land to live in
No food to eat , god save us
From the inhumane kind , be kind to us.
The cry of animals during the forest fire .

Chicken tenders and chicken wings,
I love all those chicken things.
But if you asked me about my own,
I would say "leave them alone".

don't eat it,
but don't tell me
"It ain't Texas enough."
I know.
We are in Seattle,
the owners are Chinese,
and I'm Californian,
so it's definitely not Texas.
It's a mutt.
"Dog food," said a customer.
I don't blame. I ain't mad,
they just pay me to be here.

Minding my own business
Hanging out with Irène
I heard “you’re perfect”!
What does this mean?

Don’t think much of myself
Bumpy hard skin, scars a plenty
Someone thinks I’m awesome
Fine with me just let em

I had to be cut open and gutted
To see my true beauty
Had to say goodbye to Brad
Been there for me, it was his duty

Look how beautiful we are Irène!
Creamy, soft, luscious to the taste
I’m so happy we are in the bowl
Did I just hear many yells of praise

Grown men with helmets on
Throwing around a ball
Everyone wants some of us
Yelling at their screens over a call

Who’s that Irène? He’s something!
That’s Chip! He’s handsome I say
Strong perfectly salty and built
I hope I can meet him today

Now it’s me and Chip forever
Irène set her own sights
At this Super Bowl party
Crunchy smooth love at first of  many bites
Avocados are one of  the best things made from nature. I love them so much it’s silly

Will it make you full of joy?
Will it be too many calories?
Will it make you worry?
Will it help you not worry?
Will it make you have regrets?
Will it make you sick?
Will it be calling your name?
Will it make you happy?
Will it satisfy you?
For... how ...long?
If you can, you should.
If you can’t, then don’t.

Today I got taken out
of my box and nuked
for a dizzy-filled eight minutes,
all my artificial byproducts,
and something close to,
but not quite called, meat
melted and congealed together
in a semi-appetizing way,
just enough to be consumed
in a famished **** of teeth,
gums, and spittle,
and here I now sit in a pit
--purgatory's gut--
dreaming I was made of real
pepperoni and sausage,
running free in the open fields
of DiGiorno.
Inspired by the poem "Monologue of What Was Once a Sunkist Orange" from fellow HP writer Yacov Mitchenko, which is a really good poem by-the-way.

I was recently complimented
by a bowl of Whole Foods clam chowder
so I thanked it.
You’re not so bad yourself, Whole Foods clam chowder!
Truly, I enjoy you very much.

A roach came to work with me
in my shoe.

It's a true story.

I shook him out of my laces

And he joined in with a new group
of bugs on the ground.

He can get renter's insurance for
$10 a month.

I'm back, eating lunch in the car
by the path.

And cake.

That's a start.

We often live our days
In a deep fryer
What doesn't coat and **** us
Could very well eat us alive

Can't be sodium-free, baby
Not when life is in hyperdrive
And microwave is king
