She was awfully pretty, and it felt awfully right,
but she was a bird, and he was nothing more then a kite.

Love
That cruel twist of fate

Love will pick you up
And fly you higher than you've ever flown before
And then drop you
Maybe it will catch you
Maybe it won't
You'll never know until you place your faith in

Love
That cruel twist of fate

I rested on a bench on a bank of a canal.
The grey steady sky gradually broke blue.
It was cold, but the sun soon shone through
thawing the chill from my bones.
A sparrow landed beside me on the green metalic seat.
Glanced at me once then eyed
the debris gathered by my feet.
Not spying any decent morsels to eat,
it took to the sky and flew.
As I watched it go
I heard my soul whispering,
"please take me with you."

Crystal chandeliers
shelter an aviary restaurant
just beyond our patio.

A pair of purple finches,
having heard the place well-chirped,
drop in for a hasty lunch
and flit away full and fortified.

A cardinal taxies in to sample
the black oil sunflower seeds,
then revs his engines for the flight
to a chilled Magnolia branch -
scattering  snow tufts as he lands.

Birds of every kin and feather
spread the word from branch to tree
that you just can't beat the tasty fare
at the little wire and glass café
beneath the crystal chandeliers.

I doubt the humble caterpillar
has any premonition
of the glory that awaits
on her impending coronation day.

Newly hatched, she meanders
over leaves and stalks, binging on the crawl,
in quest of the perfect hanging leaf.

Then suddenly metamorphosis
and silk is everywhere
wrapping her up like Nefertiti -
her insides churned into enzyme soup
a new essence in the making.

Shaking, writhing, a bold new self
is emerging deep within -
an orange and black-winged butterfly
waiting for that liberating hour
to shed her crumbling shell
and beat the air with new- found wings.

Step by step,
one step at a time,
only one.

One by one moving ahead one step at a time
Only one step needs to taken at a time

Never did it matter, nor did it bother to the mind,
but since it's a habit always maintain and follow good habits.

Always remember, it's important,
keep in mind and stick to the same all the time.
Always take only one step at a time.

Whether climbing up or stepping down a flight of stairs
Always remember,
step by step, only one step to be taken at a time.
One by one, always take only one step at a time.

Experience and influence play an important role in everyone’s life
Constructive approach and right attitude makes all the difference between winning and losing
Approach and attitude are different from each other as is chalk from cheese
Yet both are important
They have there own role to play in everyone’s life
Both possess the ability, capacity and scope to make a difference in an individual's life
Hence while getting the future ascertained make the right use of each one of them so as to know their difference
Try to understand the need of hour and then act accordingly
Slow and steady wins the race, hence it always important to take only one step at a time.

Step by step, one step at a time
One by one, only one step needs to taken at a time.

Never did it matter, nor did it bother to the mind,
but since it's a habit always maintain and follow good habits.

Always remember, it's important,
keep in mind and stick to the same all the time.
Always take only one step at a time.

Their melodies
sing soft and sweet
bringing forth their light.

They never rest,
or fade away,
working all the night.

They sing and sing,
without a stop,
and give their wings some flight.

And if their tune,
did ever die,
I would not be all right.

For their lovely song,
I sing with them,
and I keep my light.

airports remind me of you
the smell of recycled air, and sterile plastic, remind me of you
getting the window seat reminds me of you
Bon Iver as we slip into the clouds
the clouds
the ******* sky

it all reminds me of you
up up and away

It never matters wether i sothe and grove or if i even bother to move.
Selfless youth.
Complaining of missing a tooth
Your not telling the truth
Ive seen you kissing,
wishing that what you hear is not the case
That your envy has gone to waste.
Homless soul lender on a weekend ******
Lenders ready for splender
Though you took my  soul
And hacked away at my feet.
No souls
Ill tie my shoes around my neck
And dangle from street poles
