Check your bedsheets
What nightmares did you leave?
Shake em out
Gather them up and tie the edges around your throat
Let them pool on the ground behind you
Fasten yourself a cape-
and circle the room once, twice.
Peer out the door way
Sit at the very tip of the frame.
Throw out your voice
“Is anyone still there.”
Wait a beat maybe even two
Then check your heart, what’s left of it
And leave it behind.
Step into the hallway
superhero
You know the best thing about capes is they double as cloaks.
For little girls with bedsheets knotted around their throats.

I cast my net
                  into the tributary

and release into you, a seasonal swim,

I give to you a mother's color,
        as you recite
        infant hymns,

                    you're a bleeder
on the days sunfire meters out its origin,
                    you're my river

free and clear from the grip

      of anchorage,

                         my river,

drifted on to wherever
                       moon wishes glister

The phone ringing,
Your name appear,
I didn't expect for you to called that night,
Pick up the phone without talking you back,
You asked, how are you ?
And I didn't said anything back,

You keep on talk even though you know I won't said anything,
Each time you ask me, I silently answer you back but it will never reach you.

One thing that I deeply want to hear from you is not love but asking for my forgiveness.

Said that you are sorry for leaving me,
Said that you are sorry for hurting me,
Said that you are sorry for breaking our promises,
Said that you are sorry for everything….

You leaving me when I was young,
You leaving me when I need someone to relying this hardship,
You leaving me when I was they target for their argument,
You leaving me faced the broken heart, pained and the ****** road,
You leaving me with this broken household and broken family,
You are leaving us to save your own self.

Run and run…
While you left me behind,
Scream your name and reach your hand, so you won't leave me.

But,
You just left just to find your own happiness without caring your little sister.
I'm sure everyone have their own darkness story and how is unfortunate happen to us. This is one of the story I'll never forget.

i used to be a beast,
still am in the office.

bad shades and good vibes
are what we used to sell
from fast car windows,
pre-straightened edge.

no more just getting by,
we're gonna do better
than what i had to do
to please the 'rents, if that.

from hidden faces

I see a man smiling wide in the lobby,
But I know there's a storm deep inside his body

End stage cancer has filled his lungs,
Today he way playing at the park with his daughter in the sun

Today was probably his last day of fun

Just a brief check up is what I said,
Now I have to tell him he's alive,
but he's dead

He's a dead man walking,
but he doesn't know it yet

How will I tell him death now owns his breath?

I have never owned a pet
I borrowed them from God
to test my humanity
put another's needs first
teach me about unconditional love

there is a special place
in my heart they always have
when they go
it is a little darker and quieter
but it always belongs to them

their time is short
I want to make each day
their best and
in my clumsy selfish way
make them human

I’ve tried to leave her before
but watching from the plane I cry.
the patchwork valley below
digs into my heart.
nestled between blue mountains
cradle me here, I am safe.
I literally cry whenever I fly away from home, therefore I know is where I’m supposed to be.
