i cut my hair off once
i used to feel the ends tickle my back
but then i ran my fingers through my hair and
reached my shoulders.
i held my head higher and stood taller.
see
there's a saying that when you cut your hair short
you get a new beginning.
once those frayed ends are let loose,
a new life opens its doors for the new you.
but i didn't see a new door so
i cut it again and
now its too short for my liking.
and i hold the door shut.
i guess i have to grow it out again before
i try anything else with it.
i started this a few days ago and half-heartedly wrapped it up... the inspiration from that moment is gone. oops. i'll try again later

Failure tiptoes in like a surprise
Never seen by hopeful eyes
To try is a risk
And chance is lie
Better to admit defeat

These efforts have yet been recognized
Not visible
Never seen
Stuck in the void of in-between
Tears fall heavy on crumpled pages
Dances performed on empty stages

Survival is just a mask
Hope is such a thankless task
Battling against the world and yourself
Placed your dreams on the highest shelf

But belief is a beautiful thing
Fate changes with the weather
Brush yourself off and start anew
Released from your personal tether

The saddest thing I ever saw,
Was a woman who couldn't see her mans efforts.
Especially when I watched him rip his heart out,
and she got mad that he got blood everywhere.
The writing speaks for itself. This can also be interpreted the other way.
I write  poems for people endowing love,
It would be comforting to receive one instead, for a change

I have revised love letters
to contend with the headers
to change always and forever
to thanks for the effort.

It's been some time since we've spoken,
I don't mean a one word greeting...are we broken?
I've tried everything there is
gave my pride up for this!
Are you saying it's all for nothing,
That my efforts are simply rotting?
How quaint of you to think that,
How kind of you to say
that all that I've done
will be forgotten, washed away.
How the heck do you think I feel?
That all I had been working for was never even real?
I trusted you so much,
and then you started to change.
When I made my decision,
We were still family.... Just estranged
I didn't give up,
I still cared
I couldn't stop!
But all of it
fell on deaf ears not attempting to hear,
unseeing eyes not willing to try,
dying souls not daring to live,
closed mouths not striving to speak,
shattered hearts not struggling to be made whole!
My efforts were in vain
and yet why can't I release myself from this?
Why do I still freaking care?
I shouldn't care for you, I shouldn't acknowledge you let alone smile at you. ALL OF YOU! You talk **** behind my back when you were my most trusted friends, the best of the best among all the rest??? **** it, I've had one person on my case before, you made it a horde, thousand more! And yet I can't find it in myself to stop trying.... my so called friends.... who the heck do I trust now??

Your imprint's emplacement
Massed fate's apogee,

Where words become pavement
Whilst time sets them free.

Too bad you didn't like it.
I actually wanted to make you feel special.
I don't write love poems
For this reason.
I wrote this for you and you couldn't even pretend to like it.
This is why I don't.
You want me to change so badly that
I did.
Made a change in my life.
You.

"I should be more important that your book!"
One time I wanted to write
You never wanted to read
But you made it all about me ******* at life
like always
You're insane if you think that's okay.
To take my favorite and most important part of myself
And say you're angry it's not you.

You don't care for my passions
Unless you're the only one.

DID YOU KNOW I SEW AND ******* ROCK AT IT?
IT'S THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES ME HAPPY THESE DAYS
YES, DUH.
SINCE YOU MADE IT ABUNDANTLY CLEAR
YOU DO NOT CARE

Spoiled people don't understand the value of trade
You have it all
And you don't know it.

I am yours and you are mine
If that is ever denied I hope I am the first to hear
Keir, let me make this clear
The color of your eyelashes matches my eyes so perfectly it is undeniably certain that we will always compromise
That does not mean we will see eye to eye
But the flutter of your blond lashes
and the love in my almond colored eyes will compliment each other
Like two school kids who have discovered playground love
Or a passing airplane through a clouded sky
It's not a fortunate accident
It did not fall from the heavenly sky
Luck has no part in it
It is a series of unconscious events that lead to a very conscious decision
This is effort and planning
With a very innocent motive
You are my hard work and commitment
That is so uncommon in my train of thoughts
It is a foreign pattern that I learned while I was abroad
And you are my sweet relic to prove my journey was real.

Who is a man?

Man is?

A man is a beautiful part of God's creation

A man carries cash. A man looks out for those around him — woman, friend, stranger

A man is wallet

A man is effort

A man is good at his job

A man owns up

A man looks out for children. Makes them stand behind him.
Style — a man has that. No matter how eccentric that style is, it is contrived. It's a set of rules.
