Time seems slow when young minds play
Time feels long as young minds age

Time seems fast when old minds slave
Time feels short as old minds age

Time goes on and ignores old pain
Time looks out for no one and let's no one stay

Time corrupts young minds and fastens change
Time let's the poor die young and let's the rich die of old age

Time is infinite or so they say
Do you think time will come to an end one day?

She is the ocean
Between two warring islands
Not involved in the conflict, yet
Most of the gunfire hit the water
Belongs to both, yet
Neither shall pick up the white flag
To save the ocean from drowning herself
Polluted and corrupted, yet
The perceived saviours are really just pirates
On little boats, but who dares cross the sea.
Can't you see that she's damaged enough?
Real saviours offer no solution,
Offer no ignorant reaffirmations of
It'll all be fine, because
They know that forcing the sunlight onto the sea
Will only burn her, yet
A slow shed of light shall warm her.
I am the ocean
Between two warring islands.
And my soul is lost at sea.

The smell of stale smoke lingers through our hair,
A staunch like presence,
but never fully there.
Yellow stained fingers,
and blood soaked knuckles..

hammy-downs that don’t fit quite right,   awake critiquing ourselves late at night.
Hoping and preying not to become what we’re destined to be.

Drifting through the slums,
Seeking some kind of pleasure.
Friends and family succumbing to ice,
Melbourne’s national treasure.

Young souls corrupted,
so much potential forsaken.
One hit,
And it’s total annihilation.

putting lives on the line for some dough.
poison air reach your lungs and theres
more
.
possibilities are endless with this world.
I just hope you see it one day when it
blows
.
avenues in fire and people get lost.
everybody in a crisis and the weak gets
tossed
.
symbols and trauma turns your mind to
mush
.
simple idiots when you worship a trump
or bush
.
Well take a look at what you've done,
Ain't pointing fingers,
No time to run,
Time stand and fight,
Got your whole life,
Circling the outer realms instead of
finding the inner,
Just don't plant no seeds if you love
being a sinner,
Life are on the lines to save weak people
like you and you,
We learn through and through,
That if we feed the demon everyday of
our lives , we could lose the juice,
The choice is up to you,
But I know what I'mma' do.

We all need it at some point
We always need to believe in it somewhere along the road
It is here to help us move along
It is like that person who stays behind to help you up
But there is no person
It is just you
Keep it in your heart
Keep it safe
Don't let it be corrupted or corrupt you.

Corrupt

The old woman says the system only works for certain people

She's right for the system really fricking *****

In the worst possible **** way

Some people waltz right on in there

And get what they want with no worries

Like thieves in broad daylight

Not giving a hoot about being caught

While those on the list are stuck in limbo

Caught up in a system that doesn't work

And never will for it was invented to fail

And be fricked and ***** people over

While the sneeky ones get away with ******

Ramming their hatchets in our backs

And grinning their grin knowing they've won

And we all failed coz the system is bust

Our ghosts just nod and move on

Waiting for their next corrupt life

Not even Groundhog Day was this bad

Somebody went and dropped a house on us
Put fools into office to make us cuss.
Made all the rest of us feel hit by a bus.
Oh, no, we’re going to cry.

Some lazy people didn’t try to help,
Millions of us not quite as smart as kelp!
Now it is done, they don't hear us yelp.
Oh, no, we just might die.

Rumble, boogie
Boogie woogie oogie

People are running things that cannot read
Don’t have the background or wit they need
Letting our national resources go to seed
A scary bunch of good-for-nothings high on greed.
Oh, yes, we’re all a mess.

Cancelling the programs that helped the sick
******* public money like a ****** tick.
Hiring ****** lawyers for their ***** tricks.
Oh, no, it just began.

Rumble, boogie
They gave us a noogie.

Playing ugly war games on friend and foe
Not a single clue about where this may go.
Robbing Social Security as if we’d never know.
Oh, yes, they are the worst.

Trying to change the laws so we all fail
If we protest they want us all in jail.
Keep us so broke we can’t make the bail,
Unless we rise and stop them first.

Rumble, boogie
They gave us a noogie.

We could have voted last year to stop this crap
Now, good or bad we’ve fallen in their a trap.
Meanwhile the fat cats keep ****** in their lap.
We need to jail them for a very long nap.

Rumble, boogie
Boogie woogie oogie
