There are no words for the love I have for you. An emotion I thought was familiar suddenly has become unfamiliar and brand new. If time were a language we could express I would know the words to paint such a masterpiece in my mind as beautiful as you. If the future could be told It would only spoil the time it takes to portray a life perfected spent with you. Although I have taken few moments to watch the sun rise I know none of them were as beautiful as the sparkle of life I see in your eyes every time I wake to look at you. You reach deep into my heart with every warm embrace. A place I  reserved for company only such as you. Only in my wildest dreams would I ever have thought love was unsettling as I find I could never truly settle for anything less than you. If only my mind were as vast and spacious as the home my heart has built for you. You would know just how much I truly love being forever in love with you.
Knowing Jesus

We call it Good
Victory in being vanquished
Daylight in darkness
Bearing a cross

Triumph in a tomb
Three days
And death is doomed
Passing like a night
To laughing day
On Good Friday, people of faith, whatever their religion might be, are uniting together in spirit to fast and pray for relief from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Because all other women (Kingdoms) are weakness; the kingdom of God is built on wisdom for all. Equality in the pursuit of happiness even by the constitution of the state of Florida in retrospect: Justice is not for sale, denial or delay. All men are created equal and the bar was created not to deny these rights but to protect them as ruled by the Supreme court and under the supreme Law of the land; the United States Constitution. As given by divine providence and nuture's God. The nature of the state of mind and the deeds of the mouth spoken from the heart. Evil triumphs when good men do nothing and for this reason governments were instituted just as moses gave the sermon on the mount. America the beautiful promised land given by God in the divinity demonstrated by Jesus and the famous 4 score and 7 years ago even today. Christ Jesus stood at the crossroads of faith truth Justice and the American way to deliver us this beautiful nation of nations so many have taken for granted today although his banner still waves. ;)

Dear God holy you are
And surpass me by far
Your thoughts I could never understand
But one day I shall see you in glory land
Where I shell utter praises evermore
For you are not some made up folklore
You are the King of Kings
And on you rests my whole being
My words to fall short
Of giving a report
Of your greatness and might
Of which I now do write
For though I now compose
Feeble words to up lift he that arose
One day I shall sing
Praises for eternity to the king
But for now I shall be content
To write my words
And worship you with the birds
And point to you
The only God that’s true
Praise be to your name
None other is the same
I close with this
Though your glories I could ever list
That you are ever great
But you came to earth and set your own fate
To face the cross
And to suffer loss
To save me from they wrath
And to set me on a new path
All for your glory
For this is all your story
Praise to the maker of men
Amen

Nonbeliever
by Kim Cherub

She smiled a thin-lipped smile
(What do men know of love?)
then rolled her eyes toward heaven
(Or that Chauvinist above?).

who, US?
by Michael R. Burch

jesus was born
a palestinian child
where there’s no Room
for the meek and the mild

... and in bethlehem still
to this day, lambs are born
to cries of “no Room!”
and Puritanical scorn ...

under Herod, Trump, Bibi
their fates are the same —
the slouching Beast mauls them
and WE have no shame:

“who’s to blame?”

What is happening to Palestinian children in Gaza and the West Bank is a crime against humanity, financed by American taxpayer dollars. I saw the blood
I felt the blood
I saw the hammer
I felt the wood
I read the words
They said "me"

I looked at the man
Who hung on the tree
I looked at his writs
I saw nails
I had held those spikes
I had read that they said sin

Then I knew the meaning
I and in so I began to sorrow
For it was my sin that held him there

The foundation for my conception of love,
Because yours is unconditional.
The rock on which I stand,

I am learning to build my life upon your love,
it is the only consistent thing I have.
A ear that always listens, even though my cries are silent and at times deafening.

You show me my worth, my true value and there is no currency that can match to me.

You show me i am one of a kind,
you took your time to shape me,
every flaw,
every inch of me perfectly designed,
crafted by the purest.

It is so hard to let go but you show me every time that you have got every single part of me.

Letting go is so hard but your love prevails over and over again.
Telling me that everything is going to be just fine.
I wrote this piece because I realized how hard it is for me to let go of my worries and place them in God’s hands.
I also realized that he created every single part of me and he loves me so much that I need to be able to trust him more, after all he knows past.

The Gardener’s Roses
by Michael R. Burch

Mary Magdalene, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, “Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.”

I too have come to the cave;
within: strange, half-glimpsed forms
and ghostly paradigms of things.
Here, nothing warms

this lightening moment of the dawn,
pale tendrils spreading east.
And I, of all who followed Him,
by far the least . . .

The women take no note of me;
I do not recognize
the men in white, the gardener,
these unfamiliar skies . . .

Faint scent of roses, then—a touch!
I turn, and I see: You.
My Lord, why do You tarry here:
Another waits, Whose love is true?

Although My Father waits, and bliss;
though angels call—ecstatic crew!—
I gathered roses for a Friend.
I waited here, for You.

NOTE: I do not believe in Jesus as a “sacrifice” to a primitive “god” who demands the blood of innocents in order to “forgive” sins of his own making through a ghoulish "atonement." But I will not completely discount the hope that love can transcend death, although, like Thomas, I will have to see it to believe it.
