the sunset imbues its last glance
as molten lavas cool into exotic crimson
painting the color of romance over the horizon.
the clouds flew,
and you closed your eyes,
cicada songs humming through your ears,
and pink hues glowing across your cheeks.

then, i saw your chocolate brown
eyes gazing out in awe.
your fawn satin skin seemed so delicate,
as did your jet black hair.
coral florets glowed among fluorescent orange, yellow, pink flavescent clouds, calm in migration.

the west reaches for clothes of new colors
which it passes to a row of ancient trees.
you open your eyes, and soon these two worlds both leave you;
one part climbs toward heaven, one sinks to earth.

it's nearly dark now, and the stars are peaking out amongst the clouds.
you're lying in the grass, feeling every strand tickle your bare legs.
you close your eyes again, and the air you're breathing is hot and heavy.

i strode my fingers through your hair, sighing softly
gazing away at
blue evening grandeur skies, and you smiled…

pastels in yellow flow around my scene
and i relish in the comely gold light for at last,
we are gazing at the same sun.

I was jealous of
jade green oceans,
and the way they dance
when the sunlight hits
them just right.
Or, how I've ached
to wear a shade unbroken,
like the clear blue morning
with its cloudless skies.
I've even dreamed of dressing
in that cold steel gray,
that makes you want to stay
on those lonely rainy nights.
But, I've come to embrace
my amber sands,
that pull you in like the warmth
of the sun at noontime.
Only can my brown eyes
blossom and burst,
like the earth,
so tender and soft
after the storms subside.

Let me melt,
In those big eyes.

Even if it is only,
For one last night.

Let me feel,
What closeness is.

And let us just be,
In total bliss.

Hearts will collide,
A forgotten word.

What is a mistake?
If it is fate.

Please remember,
The taste of my soul.

Even if,
You must go.

With your brown eyes bright I can see you there, and I'm afraid I've done it again. Retouched this unrequited madness, tossing me into the throws of a love lost panic.
If you like this, that's great. If you'd like to use it, please just ask and I assure you I will likely say yes.

brown eyes; never liked em
always thought they were bland
never even thought to look past em,
but i did today
he told me of his brother,
i saw something beneath those brown eyes
almost took his life, that cancer did
i don't know why but i can't seem to dislike those brown eyes
cliche *** poem but i met a boy
tbh, i saw something in him today that i hadn't seen from anyone else

They say there's no such thing as;
time travel,
Yet gazing into your sullen aged eyes,
I see the pain this world has caused you,
the memories you wish you could erase,
I see the glint in your eyes past adventures have left you,
As if I was reading a bittersweet;
mystery novel,
Or watching a replay of your life,
Though your eyes are pools of;
chocolate and locked up secrets,
I can almost feel the bruises and;
aches this world has left you,
Your eyes are an abyss of secrets,
I've been ****** in to your  alluring;
past,
Lost in the small world in your eyes,
Ive found its too hard to come back

Rich, dark soil after rain
Fresh brewed coffee with just a drop of cream
They want sky blue, aquamarine,
Or deep forest green,
But all I can give is brown.

Smooth, chocolate truffles
Hot cocoa on a bitter, snowy day
A ten-year-old boy's mudslide onto home plate
A freshly washed teddy bear

The world tells me these are not beautiful.
Instead they want a polluted, grey sky,
Or littered grass.

My eyes are strong bark,
And sturdy oak.
They are ancient roots reaching into fertile soil,
Out of which sprouts life.
Brown is all I can give to you.

No one ever notices my eyes.
They aren't green like the tides,
or a blue reflection of the sky.

They are dark hills of chocolate,
surrounded by tan skin.
My dark hair surrounds me
traps me,
I am locked in.

My soul is bright
full of laughter and spirit.
I scream so loud,
but no one can hear it.

I hide behind my brown eyes
The perfect cover, the best disguise.
