cocooned, like some hungry
butterfly desperate to flee
once more into the world,
i stare at the sullen clouds from
my kitchen window and
sigh with longing.

if only i were a leaf, or a
feather:
then a soft breeze could carry me
anywhere.
some morning thoughts.

Lured and confused
Like a fish
But was it ever a clever lure
All was well
For that I fell
Then brought into laughter
All truly is well
Or so it seems
Please be true
For peace is bliss
T'was you I did miss
Still do
But hearing your sweet voice
Was like breeze on a summer day
Sweeter than honey
More gentle and soft than silk

Making me laugh too
A wonderful surprise
Oh, what ever to do
When I'm stuck here and you're over there?
This doesn't feel fair
But it's alright, I don't mind

Making me dance like a ribbon in the hand of a dancer
Twirling all about in the spring breeze
My heart is somehow at ease
Everything is alright
Or so I'm lead to believe
But all is well
There's not a thing I could tell
As I sit here and listen to the ocean through a shell
But that I'm hopeful as ever
Light as a feather

Indeed, I'm a little excited
But can you blame one such as myself?
It's so strange when you're so far away
But so close at the same time
As though I could reach out and caress your cheek
But all I'd be touching is the spring breeze
Hoping it would be carried to you
Telling you I'm still here
Hoping for something
Anything from you
That tells me
It's okay

The stars tell thousands of stories
But their silence is painful
Looking up and wishing
But no response from those glimmers of light
That could save me from internal fright
Then comes the soothing spring breeze
Putting my fast-paced heart at ease.

Hearing his voice again was wonderful - I just wish it were for longer.
Oh, dreamy wishes...

You are asleep and I lie beside you. How is it
that you can create tenderness and transcendence
when you are in stillness? Yes, the gentle breeze
of summer's night blows through the open window
and wafts through your golden hair, but you are
deep in slumber, and only the flame of the yellow
candle on the dresser top acknowledges this susurrus.
There is upon us a deep silence as the full moon
slowly makes its way across night's sky. I am now
carefully on my elbow gazing at your iridescent
visage. I turn my head and look at the mirror that
doubles my pleasure. Can I be this blessed even
for a moment? Serenity surrounds us. I lean over
to kiss your forehead lightly. Imagine a lifetime of
bliss, nightimes of joy, sharing with you in silence
the fullness of loving and being loved as the moon
passes by, as the yellow candle's flame flickers
like the vicissitudes of life, but knowing all the
while that gentle breezes will blow all unease and
uncertainties away as the sun begins to rise.

i am so weak.

like a feather dancing in the wind,
flowing freely with the breeze.

i need you to save me, to lead me,
to guide the winds that carry me;
you do so with such ease.

although the leaves around me may rustle,
there is nothing you do not see.

you show me the direction,
i surrender to you;
at last, I am free.

I love You because
you're like
Poetry to me -

filling up my lungs
with fresh, thin breeze;

I love You because
you make my Heart
skip a beat -

for it can't take
this drumming - crazy -
that's growing inside of me.

................................I'm going
                    to the ocean,
     i'm going to the sea,
I look at the waves
splashing up at me,
and feel the gentle breeze.

The ice finally thins out
Yet we keep on treading
Did you whisper something in my ear?
For a whisper, it was pretty loud

What was it you said?
Your words were swept by the breeze
Light penetrates the bleak horizon
Winter has come to an end

blades of green lightly stab your feet.
the cool breeze caresses your arms
as the sun enhances your radiant face
you are at peace in this moment.

the sea breeze flushes your face red.
i wait for you to reach out for my hand.
but you dont.
you stare out to the sea, blue as your eyes.

the wind whips my face and
a tear falls down.
you notice and wipe it away and hold my face for a second.
i think youre going to kiss me.
but you dont.

i stare at you as you walk through the sand to the ocean.
you walk with purpose
and i love that.

you pick up a shell and tell me it reminds you of me.
i ask why.
you say its perfect.
i blush, blaming it on the seabreeze

the breeze starts to hurt.
you put your arm around me
and as our eyes meet
you finally kiss me.

in that moment,
you are my home.
