As the Pharaoh dies
He comes back
Alive in a heavenly
And pleasent world
After the weighing of the heart
Some say this is where
The idea of paradise
Came from

Resurrection

When the seas, all seven, align and combine,
To form one tide, do you believe we have a selection, to
Reside, hide and remain alive?
Or is that our mind tryna confide,
In our own made lie, afraid to die?
If the angels rein down a path to heaven,
I wish to accept, find, listen and abide,
Until I arrive.
Once I’ve arrived at my final destination,
Only then will I quit the investigation,
Quit the pacing,
Where thoughts are constantly racing.
End of days where I communicate,
Debate and question every nation.
An owl of silent observation,
Mixed with a perfection I can imagination,
To relate,
To create,
And modulate,
An exhilarating answer to the allegation,
Fact or fiction,
Which is resurrection?
Such unbelievers, who claim afterlife is an illusion,
Unaware that they are too, just bait,
Heading straight,
Into the great,
Hands of fate.
The weight of the truth,
And proof,
In representation of resurrection,
Cannot be ignored, just like an antique china plate,
Or a mate,
Who’s at times, difficult to tolerate.
It’s inevitable,
So renumerate,
Your pure self, and reinstate,
Circumnavigate,
To the Golden Slate Gate.
Enter your new estate,
Where you are enchanted with the power of illumination.
Before you can await,
The glorious one who turns death into rebirth,
Giving your soul a chance to resurrect,
Recreate, and once again illuminate.

"I believe that when death closes our eyes, we shall awaken to a light, of which our sunlight is but the shadow"       - Arthur Schopenhauer

being suicidal was fine
since there was always that option
but now, that I don't want to die?
there's no way out of it
it's a little bit cruel, how that works

you can't scare me
with the concept of hell
you'd think, if you're there an eternity
you'd get used to it eventually
The night was filled with harsh winds and thunderous clouds,
My mind raising, with problems, with clutter, with sounds,
The sight of the ominous wonders filled with latent colors,
Fear of old demons, conquered by a tragic empty...murmurs
To my eyes a disbelief, a shadow approached my hour was near
To who did I owe this debt, may it be that Death is almost here?
Would this mean my life ends here? Was this all I held dear...
THEN...
A glider of hope, my moment of fate
To ponder in silence to just lay awake
I know that am conscious I know that am here
But just one last question...was all this my fear?

to those who fear death
know that death
is the ultimate trip
Joseph Miller Nov 2018
Death is a reclaiming of wholeness
when life becomes absorbed
in the oneness of the universe
which is everywhere
and nowhere

in that moment
when our loved one goes
the reclaiming
takes part of us
as we become connected
to the fullness of their emptiness

it is more than the mind can understand
only the soul knows
the connection is real

The sea – calm, immense as space
and shining – one instant in time
with breath rushing in before me,
flagstone path turned silver
in the moonlight –

Your hair in the wind -
gently picking up the sand.
It’s hard filling the days
without you.

But the nights fill themselves
the velvet peace that is yours
and soon will slip into me.

The life after the short one
Where debt is never quite done

Either feel the ecstasy or doom
Nothing will ever be impending
It's right here and never ending
But you'll find all that out soon

Giants cry painfully in this place
They don't want this for you
Blood runs from eyes down their face
Realize that this hell is true

One picks you up, immensely distressed he looks
Although you're just another name in the books
Your head fits perfectly into his palm
Like a young boy being held by his mom

You can hardly see, head filled with past regret
Believing in one god is not a safe bet
Now his judgement is nothing to fear
Not even he can hear you from down here

Let's try to be happy, this is the worst it can get
Until your own mind feels like it's about to split
Dragged upon stairs, this is just the beginning
There's only one 'god' down here and he's grinning
Inspired by a trend where people draw their fears. Gave me something to think and write about :)
