2 hours and a half
Too fast to love and admire
Too short to romance in fire
Too long to wait and admire

Numbed & dumbed
Into a void of oblivion
So far beyond the grasp of reality
My face is not my face but a doormat

Numbed & dumbed
A skull left to frighten
Watching you dance through little mirrors stuck in the eye socket
Peering, admiring
But who, admires who more?

But the skeleton, oh he stares, stares right back at you
With eyes crooning and booing
And me boohooing
The crowds tough

You are the brightest star in my evening sky
The universe is an unfathomable supermarket
And we're all just babies crawling at the aisles
Forgive me for that was weird and awkward, but
No matter how hard I try to need and reach you
I know we're not meant to be, but this is enough
Our hearts can't be loud together in this lifetime
So I choose to love in silence and let you there
For a wish granted would make me burn off
And I don't want you to lose your happy place
Just know I don't want to lose you and the moments
So I'll just look at you from afar and admire you

Her
I adore her
I admire her
I want her
But I can't have her
She knows who she is.
I know two strong ladies
wish I could see them daily

they are brave and smart
where do I even start?

sometimes life gives them trouble
and they just smile back double

I want to be there for them
celebrate their victories
and heal them after injuries

gratitude and happiness
is what I feel when we come together
an amazing friendship, what a pleasure

with those two strong ladies I know
I keep shining, I grow

I wish life won’t tear us apart
because our friendship warms my heart

I went on a trip to Paris to see the Louvre;
But out of every room the only masterpiece I saw was you.

Standing in the garden, I admire the trees.
So strong, so tall, so carefree
Watching its leaves dance through the breeze

I remember the first night that we met
I was a little less than a piece of trash on the boulevard
And you, you shined so bright in the sky
High above everything else like a street light
No further, comparable to the brightest of stars
From another's point of view we were not so different and yet
How can one compare a rock to a diamond?
You with all your fancy friends and lavish nights out
Me running rampant with nothing but alleycats of men, literal raccoons of society
When I look at you, and I can never look at anything else
Time moves at but the slowest of paces, enveloping my everything
Every breath I take feels as if it's my last
And every pulsation of my heart vibrates through each and every crevice of my soul
All I can of is Her.

she
there is no sound in the world more
that i cherish
than her laugh

there is nothing i love more
than to watch
as she smiles at me

to know that i
of all people
bring her joy

maybe i am
not so bad
after all
