Two beautiful stars of the night, Capricorn and Lyra
Capricorn tending to his herd minding his own business
Lyra, a daughter of the sun weaving and spinning
Father the sun king notices, and has become pleased

Alas, married forever, so enchanting was their love
a love of sweet fairytales, finally days and nights
were both one of excitement, no more business
and no more weaving or spinning of garments

These days were for play, and love, and happiness
and no silly lover could be more foolish than she
until father the sun king becomes a little vexed
does he wish for her to remain, mild and gentle?

Alas, Capricornus and Lyra's smiles finally vanished
as father the sun king ordered them separated
and quickly places a river of stars between them
and longing in their hearts

Still a glimmer of hope for their love continues
as father gifts them with one special night
of reuniting,
the seventh night of the seventh month

This special occasion of the year they will meet
with their hearts overflowing with love
and to promise to wait another year
as they comfort each other with endless kisses
alas, star-lovers an unconventional love story
....inspired by a Japanese fairytale

Aspirations become crushed by life,
As the will to succeed hits a brick wall.

Hopelessness transpires through devastation,
Emerging a fractured outlook about fate.

When the dream becomes broken,
Promise is always an option.

By climbing out of that hole,
Hope is a possible task.

If greatness can’t be fully restored,
Alternatives can be proclaimed with honor.

Whatever course destiny’s tale will tell,
Success can win through decisiveness.

As the weekend marches,
deep down something crushes me inside
although I enjoy my company
but when I see other having fun
it somehow stabs me from behind.

No, I don't want to compare
it only makes me more of a fool,
as the weekend marches everybody seeks for themselves
Just to have one more sip of enjoyment!
Not to compare but everyone seeks for some refreshment during the weekend. Our mind is forced to look upon weekend as a blessed 2 days. I wish everyday I could feel the blessing of being alive and breath.

Its okay to fall hard,
Its okay to be in lows,
Its okay that life is hard
Its okay that you want to cry out sometimes,
Its okay to not find someone you love,
Its okay not to hear from special someone you like,
Its okay not to find anyone around,
Its okay if things doesn't go as we want,
Its okay if you keep remembering someone,
Its okay if your fate doesn't allow you to be happy,
Its okay if people judge you for wrong,
Its okay to leave what's eating you inside out,
Its okay to break apart,

Its okay! Its okay!

Its okay you are strong enough to figure out all!
Its okay not to lose heart,
Its okay to find the precious moments of being alone,
its okay to smile again after a turbulent storm,
Its okay to not tame our love for all,
Its okay to feel the freshness of life once and for all,
Its okay to live one more time,
Its okay to find your steps one day at a time.

Its okay! Its okay!
Today I was broken apart but suddenly I found a girl whom I would rarely speak was there for me for hours long..We exchanged our stories of life with some hints and we both found out that we went through  a lot..Our eyes spoke how much we struggled for months & years to heal from inside. And she just said, Its okay Its okay! And that's what brought back my strength. We all have to get through life each day at a time. That's life, an unknown beautiful roller-coaster ride!

Thanks to my new friend with whom I enjoyed a cup of coffee and it was all okay after a while :)

the princess laughs and says, 'my love is a poet, the best poet ever'
oh, says the wizard, 'where you meet this prince, who is so clever?'
and the princess smiles a dazzling smile, 'by the sea, by the sand
he's building a pretty castle for me, with shiny jewels in his hand'

so mesmerized is the wizard, by a princess's enchanting smile and beauty fair,
he gives instructions, saying, 'dear princess you must take extra care'
'yes, thank you kindly sir, you are the best wizard ever, you are so fly'
'anything for you your highness, ' says wizard, 'forever your wizard am I'

like the wind you blew gently
lightly caressing my cheek as you go
like the tree I stood ready
my roots planted firmly below
but a simple wind you are not
and soon your storms did show
you were my favorite distraction
leaving everything else unknown

Langston* said what happens
when dreams don't come true:
they fester, stink, or explode

but hell, hear what I say
colored girls ain't got no dreams,
what we got is schemes to make it
from here 'til tomorrow

and we don't drown saggin'
sorrow in gin, or the big H--least ways
not all of us do

it's true, the man done piled
on ****, high as it can be stacked on us
but we don't all ride no pity bus

the streets don't weep for the weak
or those of us who spread our legs to get us
a baby--a toy all our own

cause when he's all grown, he ain't
goin' be there to fill our empty bellies
or make us proud

so go on say it loud:
black girls don't need nobody
show 'em the way

and one day, we goin'
take what's ours--we just don't expect
to reach for no stars

we be fine with settlin'
for someone callin' us by name
and not feelin' no **** shame

i threw them away
even though they
were supposed
to help
because i wanted to be
lovely
and they were stopping
me
from
aching
and they made me sick
and
yes
i act like a child
but children
see more than you
think
and
i started
far too late
and
i fell
into the
stormclouds
and
i haven't slept
and
i got myself
a gym
membership
and
i am a
sick
fat
liar
except that
i really am not
unless i have
to be
and
it's raining
and the sky
is getting darker
and darker
but it's almost
10 am
and
i
am
so
alone
~sweet and blustery cold alone in wooden chamber with coffee stained teeth
