I don't want to live a life
Where I look in the mirror
And see everything I never
Wanted to be

When the tides crash and the waves retreat,
Doesn't the salty breeze make you feel poetic?
When the lightning clashes with its own kind and the thunder chases it,
Don't the sparks make you feel poetic?
When the wind blows and the leaves dance in the air,
Doesn't the autumn season make you feel poetic?
When the clouds disperse and the stars appear,
Doesn't the galaxies make you feel poetic?
When the rain falls and the mist forms on your skin,
Doesn't the nitrate smell make you feel poetic?
Because when i look at you,
and you look back at me
in the same way,
I know i feel poetic

Your skin's so pure and humane.
Sure you have what it takes to make me insane.
Soft lips and soft skin convinces me that you're the blame.
Vision me on the hood of your car, cliche'd kisses in the rain.
Although you don't know me.
After the night, you won't have to worry.
With a Virgo touch so worthy.
An undying spirit so earthy.
Wish you may hold me forever?
Stand within the clouds together?
Continuous nights like this, we'll phase every weather.
Goddess of love, I could do no wrong.
Kiss me hard. Kiss me long.
****** me deep to our song.
Feel me strong.
**** with me heavy and a lifetime of pleasure awaits.
Such a far distance away. Such a true feel at stake.
It's up to us to design a future that we glimpse in our mind.
Making something out of nothing is our shine.
Don't be afraid, follow me and climb.
The future is yours, pay attention to the signs.

When I was younger
I told my parents
That I wanted to touch a star
And they told me
To embrace one
With open arms.
Maybe that's why
When I hold you
And my chest burns,
And my mind spins,
I don't let go.

We see things differently.
With the stars blinding my eyes,
and the color of the sky
fading from yours;
we are distant universes.

Sometimes
you
get used
too much,
and you
confuse bloodstains
for watermarks.
It’d be easier
to pretend like
nothing’s happening,
rather than admitting
that, deep down,
You were hurting.
And you were always hurting.
One minute
everything’s going fine
and the next
you’re breaking down;
tears flowing from your eyes
uncontrollable,
unbearable,
unyielding.
You
look me straight
in the eye,
and I knew
the words
even as
they caught in your lungs,
“Am I okay?”
I shook my head
and said not a word,
as you leaned in close.
In the silence,
I wondered:
Who was consoling whom?
If I close these eyes,
it would feel like
all of those other nights,
or perhaps,
this was still the same night.
And all the heartache,
and truth,
and yearning,
were seeking moonlight
once again.
