When I was younger
Life was sheer brilliance
When I was wiser
I was in another body
When I was totally absorbed
I was diving deep depths
When I was beautiful to myself
I was a complete child free mind
When I was amazing
You thought I
Was inspired by beatniks
When in fact I
Was drunk on Moonbeams,
Candlelight pleasure streams
When I was yours
I was charmed by The Divine
Luxuries~from sweet sweat aglow~our
Lyrical Muses were asleep whispering Lyrics
Murmuring,  palms kneading,  loving. . .

If in love,
It's a crime scene.
Raise your hands.
Fall on your knees.
Wrap yourself in yellow tape.
Surrender.
Find a window to look out on the world.
Walk in the compound.
Contemplate a break out.
You're in love,
And it's captivating.

As time passed by,
And so the spaces between us are drawing nigh.

And in pulchritude, our love will illuminate exceedingly,
As we kiss our fears away so passionately.

I wrote you a letter
which is ridiculous because I could call you
but a letter seemed more appropriate
and well, I can't just turn back now.

I put that letter in an envelope
and went to buy some stamps
The same kind that you had a collection of
I find it difficult to think of it

I placed a stamp on the envelope
I addressed it to you
the address was not the same
you moved so long ago

But I never sent it
I never let it go to you
and I regret that so much
because I knew you would have liked it

I took that letter
The envelope has yellowed with age
and I put it in a fire pit
and watched as it burned

I figure the smoke will carry it to you
To let you know I've been thinking
because this family season makes me sad
since it reminds me of who I once had

The words were only ever meant for you
and as the smoke drifts into the sky
and it slowly disappears
One single rain drop falls onto my face

and I know that you are here with me

I will
write love on her arms
so many and so deep
that it courses through her veins
and into her
heart.

I will
write love on her arms
so she can stop hurting
even though she loves the pain
which is the
hardest part.

I will not
stop loving her,
even if she lets me go,
because through all of this
I'll let her know she is loved
by everyone she knows.

I will not
abandon her in her darkest times of need
I will not however
be her knight in shining armor
gallant and proud
on a strong new steed.

She will not know that
this lowly peasant
comes from a nothing more
than a small house
with nothing to call my own.
Where the hardest part for me
was finding a different dial up phone.

So she walks,
so she talks
and seems okay,
but as her friend
who loves her so,
I want her to walk away.

From the pain
the sadness,
the misery,
I want her to walk on her own,
and far away from me.

I am her crutch,
but I am not her life,
and alas poor Yorick,
she is not to be my lovely wife.

But still I shall
keep her lifted up, safe from all harms
if only for a chance
to write love
all on her
arms.

you happy! Trust me -- beloved
handsome man - and laugh!

A professor explained to me once
how there is a limited number
of possible designs for making
an arrow point function as intended.

You can't stick a round rock on a stick
and expect it to penetrate like a dart.

It has to be sharp and hard, yet light
to fly like a feather straight and true
to the heart. I said, you mean like love?

She said, yeah, like love, kinda like love.

It's all that I need

My Poems here
are a common
red blood bind
horizon heeding
from blank to grey.

Tips are starlit as
the most bold ink-lined
beautiful formation
of space & time.
   Seems
bizzare, un-limited
falsificated classical
old blue ink evaporated
with digital evolution.

Not aware of its-elf ~ existence
is sinking deep into my
tactile fingerprint cushions
    Once I see guidelines
there's no hook to be
made out of necessity.
I add and add ad
infinutum and all
I see is Home.

i.

My sweetest king,
I am here waiting for you,
I clasp on to our love.

ii.

All my life I’ve been searching for you,
Now I have you in my arms,
I’ll never let you go.

iii.

Don’t be weary my love,
Let my love kiss your fears away,
My warmth as assurance I’ll stay.

iv.

My eyes wander in the skies,
As my heart shouts your name,
I’ll wait, I knew we’ll meet.

v.

Oh my darling,
No matter how long it will take,
I’ll take all risk, just to be with you.

vi.

So soon my soulmate,
Our patience in love will be rewarded,
We’ll be together, forever.

vii.

When we’ll meet,
I’ll enclose you tight,
Nothing will ever take us apart.

(Brandon Nagley)

viii.

Mine saccharine select
I'm here mine pet;
I grasp thy breath.

ix.

All mine day's
I've groaned in pains;
Now thou art mine, a meteoric grace.

x.

Now thou art here
Mine eye's hath dried, I'm over mine tear's;
For comfort hast given me a home in thee.

xi.

O' love, lover, queen
O' verily we shalt, we shalt meet;
Whilst conquering the demonic beast's, with armour divinity.

xii.

If it takes a thousand light year's
Please knoweth mine soul, mine spirit is near;
As tis eternity I wilt be with thou.

xiii.

On the many moon's, in a kingdom high room,
Where there's no need for a tomb, nor the news, no deathly hellion there, Mocker's nor baboon's; just ourn swoon.

xiv.

We shalt meeteth
O' we shalt meeteth;
And when we do, may the heaven's open and the ark showeth it's gold, mine queen Jane, mine soul.
