the moon is your element,
underneath it you alight
with its pure lunar dew

all senses become the air and
the water as your heartbeat
sends ripples into me

i can feel that and more as fingertips
trace my reaction to it gently
upon your bare skin back

but it seems beyond my capacity to
channel the energy and lift from you
the heaviness of your thoughts

so we sit still as i let you
bathe quietly within
your element

if you happen to glance and
catch me gazing upward,
remember—

the stars, they are
                               all mine...

Little friend,
I want to build from words a pair of hands
To send them through the miles of night
And lift you somewhere safe

You belong in a raft full of blankets
Hanging among the stars
The milky moon ripples on the surface of the midnight blue
You hear her sighing as she drifts to sleep

Keep this cloak of stars around your shoulders
Little bear and the sea goat and the winged horse
They soothe your worries as they brush your cheeks

Little friend, be soft till morning
And when you fall back into the onslaught
Carry this night, infinity of space and time
To temper the unrelenting light

The path I walk looms over me like the darkness that falls at night
But today I see that sliver of light, that of the moon in dark skies.
Maybe I don't have to be sad anymore

you slip in any cell of mine
like an irresistible quicksilver
making art with my blood
keeping me captive with
the graces of a silvery fox
and the instinct of a wolf
for you talk with distant stars
and with the moon and seas
to guard me like a treasure
for I emit the perfume of love
in III types of notes felt deep,
me... — you... — us...

The white luminary finally sketched itself along the lines of the dark canvas sky...

And my serene heart suddenly went out of the way...

To spill all my secrets to the watcher in the sky...in wild sobs and silent howls...

I hear ancient horses neigh and the crickets seem to be in a frenzy...

Could I have helped myself from spilling my own secrets...?

...

Somewhere deep inside the ocean... a sleeping oyster wakes to expose it's pearl bed to the same haunting shadow in the sky...

It looks up to the brooding moon in question of how it forces without force...

To come out of your hiding... Naked to the core!

The oyster too wonders aloud :Could I have concealed my mystery a little further?
Recently I came across an article that spoke of the way the moon affects all of nature. For on new and full moon nights the oysters seem to open up, planktons seem to change their positions... Horses behave differently... And even our moods are effected in a way we can never fathom!
Thus, the mystery of the moon continues...!
Thanks for reading this! ❣

Black rose trapped in a cage of white pages...

Like the white waning moon marooned in a black winter sky!
Just a random thought on bittersweet memories! Gratitude for reading this!

A thousand moons
you walked to search me.
A sparrow waits at the
end of road to welcome a pilgrim.

You were wearing
the red linen to narrate
the story from birth to death.
How many rivers you had crossed?

The blue black sky
always glittered in moonless
night. Wine glass will
spill the elixir to meet gods.

Wake in my dream
O nightingale. It is god's
domain to find the answers
of perennial questions.

floating
on the breeze
swirling
in a swoon
laments in
blue and purple
are the
petals of the moon

waned a
crescent of a flower
waxed to
cabbage rose
now the
tight held tithes
sift down
in
airy
floes

lying in the grass
of a dark
wide-open
field
sweet
swanning
petals find me
moon's offerings
revealed

i inhale their
fragrance
their light sweet perfume
they cover me
with kisses

the
petals
of
the
moon
