There was a child once
full of  barely hidden laughter and mischief
emotions endlessly poured out and back in
like a tide tasting a new shore for the first time
Where is that child i wonder

there was a traveler once
thirsting for the experience and life seen all around
headfirst diving into the world accepting
fearing nothing and witnessed with wide eyes
where is that traveler i wonder

there was a husband once
overflowing with found shining love
joy swamping easily the baseless fear of loss
proven in horrible perfection in a moment
where is that husband i wonder

there was a father once
completely enamored of a tiny squalling form
filled with a something that could not be defined
until it was gone drained and replaced with horror
where is that father i wonder

there was a lover once
coupled a shy temerity with a respectful tenderness
opening to possible love as a flower to sun
bruised and rejected on occasion though ever hopeful
where is that lover i wonder

there was a soldier once
who stood up with passion for those who could not
heart on the sleeve and thunder on the brow
viewing the world as a problem to be fixed
where is that soldier i wonder

there was a fighter once
who smiled sadly as he fought and killed in the name of money
laughing at the jokes his companions made in desperate tones
as they hid the slowly acidic thoughtful fear of being the bad guys
where is that fighter i wonder

there was a man once
betrayed and broken by this world and his choices
looking back across the memories that swirl and sift
ashes and dust that are all the remains of a once laughing child
and i don't need wonder where that man is.

Barefoot, the sod tickling ourn toe's
Aquamarine, cometh mine queen;
Down the trail's of immortality
We shalt go.

Long happily ever after
None more manacle's;
To fasten ourn wrist's
For we shalt be unimpeded, by eachother's kiss.

We shalt build a nation
Out of the Philippine's;
And Greece
Combined.

A concoction of
The finest Misamis Occidental lambanog;
And the relish of
Thine own king's santorini assyrtiko white wine.

Either my world is ideal,
With true loves existence and fairy tale endings
A world seen through sunshine's golden eyes
Or its a dark desolate place,
With whispering voices of "you'll never be enough"
Oh sunshine sear away the tar that holds the ocean down
I have no idea.....
I wrote this a while ago and it was sitting as a draft so I thought, "Eh, why not post it...."
When I re-read most of my work all I can think is "What. the. heck" and yet I keep writing.
If only the lonely would grab Christ and seek him when they are lonely.
If only the broken -hearted would see Christ Love and chase after it.
If only the hurting would let go of their pain and grab ahold of God.
If only we whom call Christ our God would love the lost like he did.
If only we all that are hurt would let go of the anger and love completely.
For his love has been put in our hearts so we can use it all loving others.
Especially those that use us and hate us without any cause at all family.
For we need to reach out to this here lost, hurting world we live in.
So that we can allow Christ to use us to draw the lost ones to him.

I wake up each day,
Rainbows in front of my eyes,
I feel so sublime,
Your presence, I'm elated,
With you my king, I'm secured.

Your love is my paint,
That endlessly supply me,
Incandescent hue,
Limn my world with love divine,
You created paradise.

I'm always blissful,
Finally you're in my arms,
You are the heaven,
That God sent, I'm rapturous.
My king, my soulmate, my all.

listen -
hear no sound, feel
only wind on its way, ghostly
nothings, but hush to sharp wings
of ocean birds so fraying as they cut
the sky, shuttle to fairways, far aways,
in plaintive cries, i hear what they say,
sailing into the jeweled skylights, but i
am only weight of air, still on ground,
i mumble out, sidle the bone tides
that roll to land, grains of clarity,
i am mist and tear, a world
of hollow, i am that sound -
of ocean in a shell.

I found my soulmate,
He defines my worth in life,
My star in darkness,
That celestially gleaming,

His pure love, my sole refuge.

Without her I
Am naught;
With her
I am all.

ii.

Without her I
Am lost;
With her
I am found.

iii.

Without her I
Am in mine grave;
With her, I am free
Not a slave.

iv.

Without her I
Am in peril;
With her
I canst seeith, speaketh, breatheth, liveth on her holy water.

Forever and longer, from
a time long before this one,
we are souls drawn together
in a rare and deep love.

Not always seeing eye to eye,
always, eventually, seeing into the
heart of each other, into the place
where being is all there is.

Our bonds of blood,
and an ancient, hybrid
ancestry braid continuity.

Breathing into the starry interstices
of this infinite correlation, living
within this web of connectivity,
we are never fully apart.

You are my brothers, and forever
will not be long enough to love you.

Sometimes I wonder. Sometimes I feel.
As though I am the dreamer.  The creator of this light wheel.
The feeling comes to me at times. Am I truly alone.
Is everyone around me truly in a different zone.
Its then I separate me from them.  And I hear and see the calls..
No longer am I trapped in these walls.
Signals of light. Echoes and transmissions.
Strange memories I start to envision.
But only for a moment, Only for a fraction.
The reminders come to be and I lose this reaction.
So I drive on home and forget it about it all.
At least until I remember again, inside of these walls.
Lost and found.  Just to be found and lost.
