Diamond like
Adam Jones Jan 2015
The surface a porcelain pond hold my milky reflection
Lips like lavender clouds smeared across the sky
Put the Angels of heaven to shame
Seraph my love, with the glow of fresh fallen snow
Shadows section her face like statue of gold
Sun kissed brass speckles twinkle with the grass
Wondered of words and soul
Will you be my precious flower
Golden glow oh behold the moon beneath the stars
I see you like ice crystal carved
Diamondesque ripe like a summer peach
Flow like cool winds on springtime leafs
You drip and roll like cursive ink
You whisper like tortured silence
Whither alone like an orchid
Oh hooded widow don't hide your precious face

Cold Soil
Adam Jones Jan 2015
Capped at the knees again,
Just another year flying with its scythe,
Cut back down with my feet rooting in cold soil,
Continue the rebuild for lifes reap,
Waiting for the clasp of hopeless farmers hand,
I know why with all the analytical purpose,
To serve life chain propaganda,
Evolutionary biome's scandal,
Breaking free from the loop you have set on full speed,
Watching the track play out,
Another record hollowed out,
High on the repetitive sound,
Loud it rings around space,
Lacing milky ways courted silence,
Rays transfer and escalate along empty darkness,
Light reflected gas,
Champagne bubbled star sky,
Here I lie severed before decay curls,
Wrapping a broken brain

Cast a shadow on the wall
I'll sleep in the cracked brick stones
My flame is flickering dim light
Lit dim by a steamy fire side
The coal and the brimstone burn
Patchwork fingers stitch the last threads in the wool
Wonder years flutter by like a butterfly
My breath rests asleep on the wind
Stamp the ashes the embers wither away
Flowers bloom in spring fast fading to decay
Meaning is lost in a void of complexion
Whisp a of a whispering silence
Soft footsteps barely blanket the snow
The previous innocents o vanquished woe

Her

Her
Skin crafted porcelain
Fitts an alabaster face
Diamond stars of rufescent glow
Floating weightlessly in space
She's the sweetest honey swirl
The youngest cusp of a beautiful girl
Hold the weight of my empty world
My blood is heavy as an ocean

Mind and body
Adam Jones Jan 2015
Warm feelings and cool light
Reverberating like a humming low
Cover the ground in ash and snow
Actions taken through courses of lies
Deception is perception
I stand in a castle of string ties
Cast aside shadowed stones for eyes
Is the datkness only in your mind

In and out
Adam Jones Jan 2015
Look through a foggy mist
Behold a shadowy form
Remove your hands
the being is torn
life forged ashes to dust
Small the vastness of it all
Entropy is the only relevancy
Irrelevancies controlling secretly
Convoluted pirouettes, I trip on my own tongue
Footsteps churning like gears in a
machine
Oh the many angles in which to be seen
Iridescence, my face a birds wing
Flutter through the clusters
Hear the saraph as she sings

Culminating a firey froth
Warm pulp leaks past the surface

Powder soft like sunny wind
Soon I will be the bitter breeze

As the sun streams ribbons through the trees
We will swim beneath a golden glow
So warm we will dance and feel at home
And oh my friend we are so alone
And i plead with the bitter wind
It is so void, so very cold
I only wish you would not go..

Tell me, oh tell me
For I lust I must know
Why does my heart beat
And why does the wind blow

Processes keep repeat
monotony set on track
Dawn cracks stand *****,
To sleep again we drift back

I cannot see the grand makers hand
All I can know are his sheep and his land
The body is in motion the face shadowed and veiled
Try and try to understand our explanations failed

Standing and spinning motion rests
My core feels cold as ice
Flutter me by
I'm but a ribbon in the breeze
Blanket the earth in snow
the insignificant blade of grass
I was alone in a field of strange faces
Suddenly spotting a flower I can not forget
Words trample me helpless
Calm my patience I regret
The world quit whirling
But It is so terribly silent
Wandering lands full of empty hands
I felt so far from home
Panting like a dog in head
blood wraps brittle bone

...
To never see the intimacy
Paint my throat with gravel
Swallow every word
perfection holds for only a moment
The feeling flutters like a bird
I stumble as they fly by
Memories of the light pulled away
I'd never see your face again
One final grip to say farewell
Wrapped the story in duct tape
Soon the edges fray
Wrote a poem in sharpie marker
I fear the words will fade away

Dreams
Adam Jones Jan 2015
As you hold it in your hand
You watch it slip away
Keep your thoughts so still
Drowning in icy rain
Hail-fellow-well-met
Smiling though her coat is wet
I smile to the stranger known
In her company we are alone
I miss you friend
Your smiling face
Diamond eyes floating through space
The fog split when you walked in
I felt storms raging deep within

Adam Jones Jan 2015
I am not alone for I made friends with me
I am the world outside dwelling beneath
Pried open the world twirling free
Like little ribbons shaking in the breeze
I am afraid the world shakes my feet
I have made my home where my heart beats
Iron roses turn to rust
A beautiful tower cascading to dust
Stuff with the sound of the silence ringing
Eyes closed white light hear the saraph singing

My dearest stranger
Adam Jones Jan 2015
Oh a wasted sea of humanity
Watch as it crumbles to confetti
Open doors quietly welcoming
We say goodnight
The masses shout hurray
Years roll past our deaths but wilting ashes
Dashes whip the *****
My face a mockery but it passes
Fabulous darling your face dripps with paint
I stumble for words oh I only hope you'll wait
Pray my friend you're as lonely as me
Pry your eyes open
See what we can be
Oh run my curious friend
Flee to the sloping hills
Your God is in your head pay attention when the air is still

Oh how feeble I was so lost amongst bitter thorns
And how the light twined like ivy vine in every curve
How she blossomed like a rose in the spring
Almond eyes like diamonds floating in space
Her viridescant presence made my very heart sing
I will crumble like a rock turns to sand
My gift to you my empty hand..

Questions
Adam Jones Dec 2014
It is ignorant to think we know
Maybe the light was made to shine
Perhaps merely meant to die
We wish to believe here lies a purpose
But we may never see curious truths surface
Who holds the head of the mighty heavens glow
Only hope to learn when a winter wrath is shown

Silver Wind
Adam Jones Dec 2014
Diamond droplets softly dripped on a fragile plain
The surface is subtly disturbed
It's puny ripples a-flutter away
The outside quietly echoing
Hear the song of crystal rain
The light is darkened
Grey skies bled a pale ashen plate
Word to the mountains crumbling Adret!
Her eyes softly glisten, but her face turned away
Exhale the silence, your breath a weak shiver
Small bodies cower, your voice but a quiver
Your fingertips gold as they tap frozen glitter
Porcelain wind blows ribbons of cold silver
it snowed :3

My blood is heavy as an ocean
The world blurs and begins to swirl
Release me from thy poison

All the earths thorns sharpen at once
Still the golden sun has drowned me
This hypnotic motion in which i lust
The dream lacks serendipity

Sweetest rose with paragon eyes
I have slipped through the aforementioned
Softest skin glows as diamond skies
Ignore the truths in which i question

Echoes of footprints in the snow

Outside is in your head

But I am but s puff of smoke

Dreams
Adam Jones Dec 2014
Quickly sketching paths in fresh snow when there was no smooth path etched in stone
Sickly I'm sliding with wet shoes on a slippery *****
Whiskey is my only lullaby
Let go of hope the ashen past
You cannot escape your lonely fate
In my fist clenched a ****** t shirt inscribed my aspirations and my apathy
My sullen sleep ridden dreams echoing with such painful screams
I sit feverishly take a dram just one last sip before I slip
Still quietly curdling in the corner when the sun came out
When the flowers did bloom blossoming a sweetened sappy odor
Where can you say lays the man who's hand beholds the golden cup
In the dark forgotten plains
Tending to lambs and pillowy sheep
All the while the wind withered a beast whom the world denied him sleep

Admire secretly from afar
That beautiful girl
Behold the face of a dying star

I am a stranded hermit
Adam Jones Nov 2014
You looked too close, you made the mistake
You saw how smooth her bones were shaped
Now you cannot seem to look away!
You saw the light twinkling off her face
Now a dreadful feeling of pain awaits
Her hues of silver drift around the bend
Her sultry song will never end
You search the empty lacuna over again
Though knowing the gold you'll never win
So grasp gently at curdled sins!
Let the cold seep through your skin
And remember her symmetry
As you're reaching out to empty wind

Azalea
Adam Jones Nov 2014
Ornaments of olive eyes
Wading sleepy through starry skies
A silver window of heavens light
Sing me to sleep this winter night
Azalea, lay your flowers in the snow
As I lay, the wind shivers aching bones
Waiting calm for lower tides
I etched a poem in the stone
Rusty sheets, broken boards
Broken folds we call our homes
Azalea, the prettiest face
As I wait, for the dead to come back home

Death in the Flower Garden
Adam Jones Nov 2014
The last doll on the wall timorous
The last sound in the hall rings separate
The first twinkling in the night glamorous
The first tiptoes through to death arrives
While wading easefully through sleepy skies
Forceful apprehensions are pushing
The detridus rubble mocking all soft cushions
A damaging entanglement of precious threads
Finding yourself where the sidewalk ends
The purifying fog replaced by gloomy smoke
Inhaled once then died the starved dog.

Replacment
Adam Jones Nov 2014
Alone the black sheep caries his thorns,
Through thick thickets thin skin is torn,
The hooded king garbed in golden rings,
Wears his hood to hide his horns,
The quick snip of sharpened scissors,
No more sheep are to be born,
One quick flick of the match,
Candle burning furiously,
One cloud of smoke vapor swirling in the air turbulent,
One moment and misty spark fades into empty space,
Wind blows through new time is here you are quickly replaced,
Left now but empty sketches on an ancient pad,
You are too quickly erased
Our existence is but a small flicker of flint. Like flower pedals tossed to the ocean..there is no control, no wading away..waiting for waves to come crashing..only to be carried away.

A Beautiful Day

Morning Sun
Adam Jones Oct 2014
Ashen leafs cling absently to sleepy trees
Hiding behind hues of asphodel and pink
Clouds danced across the morning sky
The enormous pillows slowly changing shape
Across the day they are loosely draped
With meaning in every morning
And all the varying shades of light
I marvel, what a sight
So sparkle! A state of fabulosity
My drunken heart beating crapulously
Oh all the colors of this world
Such a treasure to behold
More precious to me than diamond and cold
More sacred than any stone
My heart hopes this will not grow old
The magnificent light, oh behold!
Beautiful sunrise this morning. Watched it out the window on my way to school.

Adam Jones Oct 2014
Your eyes start swirling
The world turns grey
You're no longer curious
The enormity fades
With an open book, turn the page
With a closed mind, deny your rage
Spend a lifetime waiting to die
At the edge of the cliff, it's darkness you'll find
No glory, no sacred light
Only darkness when life leaves your eyes
my standpoint on narrow minded religious *******. i dont like ******* religion because then people stop thinking and stop questioning. It teaches us to be satisfied with our ignorance.

Twisted Spine
Adam Jones Oct 2014
Our golden world has a twisted spine
It's face is darkened with a shadowed mind
The fault in the stars of human kind
Manipulating each other time after time
Upon our children's corpses with greed we shall dine
When indifference wins, the corporations deny
Like an angered child shreaking "NEIN!"
Here stands the hooded mask of a darkened face
The familiar truth of our beautiful race
Passing slowly, painfully with time
Will go the golden world with the twisted spine

Broken Clay
Adam Jones Oct 2014
We are lavender mosaics
Made of broken glass
Our pain withered faces
Shine through pierced cracks
We’ve lived through cold days
Seen the light as it fades away
Looking upon a countenance
For a reason to stay
Time is shaping mosaics
Out of pieces of broken clay
All my friends have been emotionally damaged, but are the most beautiful people. Mosaics are made out of broken pieces, but they're still works of art.

If that's the deepest you can be
Tell a tale and whine and wail
How your emotions are suffocating

About how your drowning in the deepest sea
Or please shut your hole and just go home

Extinction
Adam Jones Oct 2014
Never again a sight of previous gold
Let go of the moments we so dearly hold
Remember the words whispered upon a many lips
Remember swimming within lovers deep kiss
Remember towers stacking into the sky
Rain showers, wishing we could fly
Remember the songs of the angels pain
Voices smooth like a milky dream
Be no more are the broken streets
Where lost souls wonder on ****** feet
Never again will the mother cry
Or the child be pushed to suicide
Remember the sound of whispered sighs
Exasperated over again, time after time
Exhaust waits in every sidewalk line
In every aching minute of human life
From the corpses bloodied body on which we dine
To cave paintings of a different time
And so no more will we hold
Precious moments framed in gold
And no one will be here to remember
The light leaving the very last dying ember
If the human race were to go extinct...

Fly High
Adam Jones Oct 2014
For all the lost ones
Who didn't see the light shine today
We stand weeping at your graves
Its a tragic ending
To all those moments filled with pain
Never again will we see your face
And we will miss you,
We will not forget your name
Like fallen leaves on the ground,
First turned golden then decayed
The light of sunrise, first fresh then fades to grey
We will not forget your name
We raise our fingers to the sky
Faces tilted saying "Fly high"
Raise your fingers to the sky
Say it with me
Oh brother fly high
Now we know of your silent pain
We didn't know you weren't okay
Now we stand weeping upon your grave
We wish we could tell you
We wish you could be with us today
But you're gone now
The light is burdened by a shade of grey
We wish we had helped you through the pain
So raise your fingers to the sky
And say with me
Oh brother fly high
We will not forget your name
My brothers and sisters, fly high.
My friends brother killed himself. It's very sad.
These are actually lyrics to a song i wrote. But i like it as a poem too.
