SOUL
a neat concrete piece for fun
Kenshō Sep 5
She followed the trail like braille.
She bound bending turns by feeling.
A long journey, kneeling and frail.

Was there always one cloud
in the sky?
Do the birds in one direction
fly?
Who can see beyond the shroud?

She left the footpath
And listened to songs
in the wind,
Toward the home
of the homeopath.

Arriving, no one there.
Time took a moment
to stare.

She must be out.
She must be there.

Beyond: a sign of being.
She must of left a note
for me to be seeing.

No one ever came.

But a dusty mirror shown:
One blind human alone.
Then, she was healed.

What is soft?
To what do we yield?
Can it speak our language?
Is the barrier translated beyond the breakage?

Just then, a bird sat beside.
And, the bird and I need not share.
We just sat and stared.

Until it flew again.
And I wondered,
if both our minds were bare:

Could I be up there?

Bloom is in season.
The birds sing for a reason.

The river's motion
Seems to have a notion
For every rock around the bend.

Mushrooms are smiling a tinge.

Not a thing is strange.
Infinity has no range.

Take a token.
The thing left unspoken:
What He thinks of Hymn.

The fields of time melt beneath my feet
And the rain is slightly sweet.

Dew of the divine drops
And gains back again.

Time is a loop of sorts,
Everything ends where it begins again.

Eternity is a moment
And it never ended again.

You know every drop ascends in

The End

Again.
Kenshō May 3
On a bend of time.
As I stand still,

My

Hand

Reaches

Out

And the divine moment widens,
Around my fingers,
Into the Infinite possibilities.

Infinity is a rainbow, and,
It is hidden,
Within every moment.

To make the moment,
A rainbow
Must stand still.

Be still and watch.
Receive all that is moving.
For what moves you moves in you too.

The moment and you,
Infinity and the rainbow,
There's nothing that can divide you.

I couldn't manage to find anything
that rhymes with you.

Make the moment, make you.
But don't let the moment make you.

For what the rainbow gives
It takes from you.

Time is money:
But, money does not buy a rainbow.
Or the motion of the seeds that you grew.

Are you growing it?
Or is it growing you?

Reach

Your

Hand

Out

And move the ocean of time
With your fingers

Feel the magnitude.
You are effortless.

As the Infinite moves you
You move the Infinite.

Kenshō Apr 10
Loneliness for an introvert
Is like the sun peaking through the rain.

It creates so many beautiful rainbows,
For one to view through a window.

Somebody on the other side is
looking at the same rainbow.

But only
If I had someone to share
this with.

Kenshō Dec 2024
We met once again,
In an instance
Outside of time.

You reminded me
You hadn't gone.
And, we caught up
On moments lost.

You explained,
It was just
A misunderstanding.

You had hid away,
To make us all
Realize
How much we loved you
When you were
Here.

The solace I felt
At your return
Filled me up.
Just like old times.

Until, you needed to go
Again;
Leaving me wondering,
When I'll see you again.

For, you had many
Loved ones to visit
That night;

And you were the
Shared connection
Between us all.

As I wiped the
Sleep from my eye,
I got ready for the day
Without you.

~

Yes, my friend, my heart has enough space to carry you a thousand times, back and forth from here to there. And, I know there will be a space for me in yours when I see you then.
I love you forever!
Kenshō Nov 2024
I sped to the temple.
Breaking human laws,
to align with universal ones.

I approached.
As my brow lowered,
grace entered my being.

Sunlight greeted me.
As I slowly passed
A stone Buddha.

No one was around.
Monks must be out.
Only a bird sat and sang
to all the flowers.
~
As I entered the main hall,
the wood creaked beneath me,
And my awareness became acute.

The large Buddha towered
over a myriad of empty zafus.
All in accordance and order.

I sat, emulating the statue.
Even my temporal imperfections
matched the stone carvings.
Yet, my mind was with the bird.

I stretched out my legs,
toward the wall,
after a long sit.
The flowers were still after a breeze
And that bird had flown away.
