I wrote a loveletter to my ghost I hope this finds you fine Don't brush me off yet I hope you kept that smile The scars that grazed past my skin They were my momentos Hover over my loved ones Be a guardian Angel And when they ask about me Or their hearts shatter Because of our memories Remind them to hang on The good times Make the lights flicker Or shake the granny clock On our chipped wall in the living room That's the language of the ghosts Ain't it? ©Cathy Devan Ig rogue lover

Ghost language.Love letter
Here I am, penning verses that paint vibrant images Expressing my yearning through ostentatious displays But do these efforts impinge upon -- even in the slightest -- The twisted fate we have been endowed? I do not like to think this is all for naught

Unaddressed Loveletter
WELCOME TO THE MOON THE COWBOY says as he walks into one more bar before heading further west He sits down at the bar in the Bronx and laments the sorry state of LOVE and her love the POET How small and sickly they've become, he groans He tips the brim of his hat further downward to spy a couple sipping wine The MAN and WOMAN Who finally discover the seriousness they need to chase out all of the monsters and ignorant ghosts that are invisible and chew THE COWBOY rocks back in the stool to contemplate the unrequited love of a LONELY IMPULSE OF DELIGHT he remembers a womangirl who couldonly see one side of him and so gave him THE RED COAT so he wouldn't forget the importance of child hood to a freeman. BETSY walks in and he bids her a WELCOME TO THE MOON

Loveletter to John Patrick Shanley
Every breath, a weight on my chest, reluctantly comes, being chased only by my quickening pulse. A knife slips between my ribs and with every word that passes over my lips, it twists. A silent scream is trapped behind my teeth. Butterflies with knives are cutting up my insides. Found poem from Automatic Loveletter's song "Butterflies"

Butterflies
when I'm with you I don't need wings to fly you take me up a mountain of emotion so high that if I'd fall 10 feet I'd still be in a blue sky you make me feel feelings I've never felt relive a thousand memories even those that didn't happen yet I see, I smell, I cry and I smile you write out my sensation in a manuscript of melody and rhymes when I don't have the words you are joy, peace and all the things worth attention in this world God's gift looksmith of my heart if I didn't have you I'd fall apart when I feel most alive, feel like I want to die you play the sweetest melodies to me you have always , all the time and after all these lines I wrote for you I'm still lacking words to describe my love for you because it's everything and I'm nothing without you they ask me hearing or seeing what do you choose? such an easy question. what could be more beautiful to look at than listing to you.

a loveletter to music
11/7/12 Swaying back and forth Trees almost dance as they greet one another And then, millions of leaves rustle Trying to tell me that they haven't forgotten me Sounding like a waterfall These great trees could be waterfalls in another world One where not one sould has seen water And the gold, red and orange find their way towards me Loveletter after loveletter transcending to me

But how I loved you I loved you with the heat And the drive And the mania Of a dry brush fire The loss of life was tragic
