My country is an old book with a crumbly, dusty cover;
original and valuable
Like a book, you don't judge it by its cover.
What's inside it is what defines it.
Gently open it;
Read each word with heart,
Uncover its uniqueness
till it brings delight.
Find the book enjoying,
You'll never wish for it to end.
You'll read it one more time,
You'll show loftiness to it.
Oh, fellowmen, we're proud of our country
Even if we're not;
Our mouths say we are, but our hearts deny.
Oh beloved country,
We discerned ourselves
through judging you
because of our own fault.

I STILL EXIST- I STILL EXIST
My pen writes
I still Exist

and an empty feeling engulfs me
I am painting a purple tree
I tell my family counselor
That the paint reminds me
Of arsenic Greek cheese dust
That a human predator
two faced fiancee
placed on my green salad in 1976
He said he would teach me how Greeks killed with love at sea
Then kindly offered
To bring
breakfast and lunch
for me in bed
(Ladden with poison)
While I ate it he danced Zorba the Greek!
His jealous raicist medeas mistresses knew his past crimes
I didn't I was very naive
his superstitious ignorant parents twelve people  asked him to Get rid of me baby and all

Overdosed with pitocin for a cow
giving birth was a torture
then blood thinners
were added to slowly
end my life
A hate crime because I a sub human born in Mexico not Greece
The poisons caused
a chest malformation of my daughter requiring surgery
later in life was mis-diagnosed
as pectus scavatum
but I knew better it was
attempted ******
a chilling secret I was so ashamed to reveal

I did escape my kids and me
we survived  the memory
of my true love's loving ways
In America saved me from certain death there I was 75 lbs
When I escaped Hell
Greece
But salads gave me
Nausea through the years
I could never recall why

Painting gets my mind
Off painful memories
resurficing examining my life understanding me and others

I have many regrets unwittingly
my loving innermost feelings
remained trapped inside
and I lost my true love
in my dead calm silence of pain
Foolish online Ink
One involuntary bad deed
In Veracruz
Two SAD songs

My shrink says I have a beautiful
Soul a relentles spirit
That I managed to do better then
Most despite hellish adversity
A childhood marred with
heartbreak a trail of
Graves tree stumps
Coffin and treassures
Spirit breath of life and death

My hybrid race was secret
Poverty lack of Rhogam
My father the Apocalyto
Hero killed by MEX Feds
Who stole my Land
We are indigenous

The enemy of the Aztecs

He was the love
Of my life my true love JPC/RC

He showed me he loved me
But he never could "tell me"
He loved me all my fault
Thinking back not ever
any other man told me
he loved me one or two boys wanted something from me freely given or taken by force from me
I didn't want them at all
No person growing up
Ever
Told me they loved me and most showed me my life didn't matter
many of my civil rights were violated throughout my life by thugs hainas had more charm
Only my father David San chez
and later my adoptive Mother mommy dearest told me once she loved me showed me she cared.
My children tell me and show me
They love me
Sometimes they hate me too
sadly they are under the spell of deadly sterile drug user enemies who assassinate my character lie and slander me to my grown daughters and I have now become estranged until they figure all out on their own so they learn to fight woolves in sheeps clothing and understand treason
and ungratefulness towards their own mother
There was only one man I loved
The MOST on this whole wide world
His ink scripted love remained the good intermigled with evil
Forever a part of me
My Lord Shiva my first teacher
My sage my guru
My Lancelott
Me  first love my last love
my tree of life he was
The only man I ever loved
and lost
Looking back
I thank G** King Jesus
King Arthur
And few other men who
Traveled in and out my door
Only one had my lock's key
I am glad you came along
I sing this last song
In memory of all the good
The bad and very bad
The few nefarious vipers I kissed
I forgive you all forgive you me for NOT
Understanding you
For loving those fellowmen
Who didn't know how to love me back
I wave my last
Good bye
I
Will
In your light and my own
Pray for you and me

As for the love of my life
"You are like a prayer
In church to God"
"I remembet you,
as someone something
VERY DEAR and precious"
You were the Best
You touched my STAR
And my starry skies sparkle
With your light remember me
in the same light my love

Growing up isolated
Silenced the spontaniety
Of thought you required of me

tried in so many ways for me to

I'll marry you!"
All over again
I adored you remember this

The Savior must have been
A docile Gentleman—
To come so far so cold a Day
For little Fellowmen—

The Road to Bethlehem
Since He and I were Boys
Was leveled, but for that ’twould be
A rugged billion Miles—
Gabriel Dorian Dec 2013
For the past few months
Our great nation has experienced great tragedies
But we didn't turn out to be sloths
Though our fates are still bidden

As the brumous weather draws near
A hirareth comes with fear
But the spirit of Christmas gets warmer
The yuletide becomes louder
It's about time to heed this very call
We must stand up for the good of all
It cradles an ambiguous thought
Which the human hear long sought

In this form of literature
I hope to inspire the people of this nation, to understand its nature
And start effecting some changes
To seek out the strangest,
To venture the wilderness of the lost peace & harmony
And restore this country's prosperity

In this season, may we stop all forms of quarrels
For we are no rebels
Of this glorious season
That brings joy to me with a great reason

This Christmas is a grandiose season
Let us stop every kind of treason
Let us set aside all our hard feelings
That has been harboured in our hearts

Let this Christmas be different
Let this be the time when we relent
Let this be the Christmas when we share
Everything that we may share for this season is rare

It's Christmas time
We share not just a dime
Even prayers for our fellowmen
And joy for all men
Right from the man ribs to the heart to celebrate
Women are in the world to get love to recreate
The essence of love with beauty to serve, dominate
Life on its edge of eternity to associate, culminate

In all walks of life women are ahead of strong men
They are like sword and sword is mightier than pen
No one knows revolution came how, where and when
For their fellowmen ,all women have become supermen

But in many places they are below level of humanity
They are imprisoned in chains and not at all are free
The creator of prophets, saints and preachers of liberty
They are treated worst than animals, below level of dignity

The international day is fro some but for all it is mockery
Which is just to show men has achieved level of humanity
Salute to all the women who persevere pain in entirety
And still bring life and color to this world and bear disparity

KING OF THE BOXING RING*

Muhammad Ali, the renowned boxing star,
Thrilled the world with his terrific fights;
Fearsome moves, nimble feet and fiery fists,
Memorable in his own well-known words,
Could "float like a butterfly and sting like a bee",
Cruhed his mighty rivals with awesome ease.
Honoured and loved as a great humanist,
More than titles, he valued respect and equality
And fought against racism and injustice.
Stripped of his title and thrown into jail,
Bravely opposed the Vietnam war,
Refused to join the army and drop bombs
On unknown people who were not his foes.
When ill-treated for the colour of his skin,
Threw his Olympic medal into the Ohio stream,
Roused the conscience of his fellowmen.
Ali, the great pugilist, king of the boxing ring,
Shines in the galaxy with Mandela and Dr. King.

The wind is hammering the roof while it makes the trees dance.

Droplets of rainwater are trying to reach me while I am searching for words to write in darkness.

News reached me that floods are as high as their houses.

How many homeless had been displaced once again?

Where would they seek comfort in this raging storm?

Animals were seen floating on top of the debris--debris from the house of the poor old man or from the life of the hopeful mom.

How many more lives would be claimed after this disastrous catastrophe?

It seemed like we are getting used to accept the fate of our fellowmen.

That is disturbing.

To go on living in an ivory tower without realizing that the tower itself is grounded and you are the only one detached.

I hope to live and see the day when it is not only ourselves that we see when we look at the mirror.
Getting used to but not getting used to

truth lies in the heart
and there is no denying
that sincerity is bred from within
a space unidentifiable
and goodness is a virtue
impossible to clone
compassion for fellowmen
comes from teachings
of old folks of wisdom
and assimilating it comes
from a sense of responsibility
for the welfare of others

in other words,
love of self is placed second
and what is done be done
despite the pain of suffering
and never complain
nor put to shame
circumstances of some unknown god
who neither had a hand
in the goings-on of this world

for years as i metamorphosed
i watched you
the butterfly within the cocoon
all your beauty radiating
to those inflicted by so great a pain
and their suffering became a little less

because of you
i retained my belief in the human race
because of you
i learned to conquer my doubts
because of you
i believe we can still be free
and because of you
i know ,it is good to be alive..
For  Senator Jose Diokno  ( "He is considered one of the best and brightest senators the Philippines ever had, a shining example of honest and dedicated public service, and a champion of civil liberties. He gave his final years in the struggle to free the country from dictatorship".-Bantayog ng mga Bayani)
Make me understand.
Go to school learn and leave.
Leave with a complete understanding of what exactly?
State, define, discuss, examine, list the ways to get ahead.
Fight for success, it's a doggy dog world out here...he says.
If you don't take them down they'll take you down, he says.
I don't get it.

Make me understand.
Analyse, evaluate,
Keep those answers to yourself one less mark on their test means one more on your's.
The working world is like a jungle.
Only the strong would survive.
What if I'm weak.
Weak with the mentality that I should help my fellowmen.

Make me understand.
Shouldn't we work together to accomplish success for each person?
Every mouth fed, every table with bread no child dreading the dreadful fears of empty cupboard and dry draws.

Make me understand.
Theories, definitions, calculations, formulate your rise and their downfall.
Accounts  doesn't account for you begging for change on the street.
Change your views and renew your review for when they enter the interview with you will trampled them like the enemies you'll chew.
One more time...

Make me understand.
Write in first person, because you should be the first person on your list.
Neglect the feeling of comraderie or friendship.
The only way to be on top is to start trampling from the bottom.
Remember, no friends in business.
Be a friend for food, then leave them face down and flat on the ground.
Feed those fools with fake smiles and phony promise rings.
Then stand tall and claim your rightful place as king.
Trust me, follow my guidelines and you'll be left standing in triumph.
Okay young Trump?

Now I understand.
Now I'm powerful, now I stand tall
Built a wall to make sure the others fall. So they call me a monster.
Because I needed someone to guide my hand
But unfortunately, I asked the wrong person to...
Make me understand.

What was once a grand home
became a place of sin, and despair,
where people feel gloomy and alone
where is unity? where is care?

A place I used to adore.
A place considered precious
became a battleground of gore
where the selfish and cruel were victorious.

Poor souls fled.
Hearts were heavy with sorrow,
hearts bled.
For they believe there's no tomorrow.

War, so unmusical a word
is others' favourite melody.
The sound of peace they couldn't afford.
That's why the war record is worn out already.

What should've been a mansion
of love, peace and understanding
became a wild forest, a dungeon
where no one can do anything.

The wails of our fellowmen,
the cries of the dead,
shook our once strong walls of cement.
Our beautiful home became their deathbed.
Translated by Przemyslaw Musialowski 9/29/2019

Even if your ship would be caught in the greatest of storms,
you'll stay in charge unafraid being the helmsman for your crew,
like a good father caring for his children, you shall not let them die.

If you fall - you will not swear,
because your fellowmen will lift you up,
for your heart for everyone and everywhere.

Remember - money is the king of the world,
and friends? - they'll find you in need,
but the small flame of a poor-quality candle
always quickly goes out.

For your birthday some will bring you roses,
have you seen this flower without thorns?
while others - dasies from an oak wood,
adorned with the most innocent dew.

You'll have to choose - love or affection,
and given moment you'd better not confuse
that sometimes it's worth to think about that
what in its essence a flower shall remain.

Jon Faux Nov 2015
He's been out for a while now
Roaming the woods beyond the walls
Angered by his fellowmen's betrayal
After they drove him out into exile

They closed the gates behind him
And left him all alone
No one to help nor care for him
Loneliness he always hated, now his friend

From above a hill, he usually saw
Over the walls, his people happy and unworried
"All those smiles are because of me,
and this is how they repay me?" he said to himself

He vowed to himself one cold hearted thing
To seize the chance for him to come back in
And make them all suffer, as he did their enemies
With the same means he used, ones they hated but needed

His exile was for all the cruelty and pain he conjured
Against the enemies his people long feared
He was the necessary evil they clung unto reluctantly
The savior they feared, more than they did their enemies

Days, months, and years passed by
And he continued to watch them day and night
All were happy, happier than each passing day in fact
Until one day, everything fell into the man's foretold fate
.
The people were frantic and in despair
He knew not what was happening there
But even so, he saw his chance has opened
And smiled as he went and make true his return

The Exiled, that's what he chose
To name himself for his return
Expecting fear to overtake the whole place
He was ecstatic to start the slaughter he savored since that day

The gates were open, just as he expected
He walked right in, giving off the same presence
He had emanated when he went out the gates
And expected the people to wallow in fear and hopelessness

What he saw was one he never imagined
They all saw him and asked for his forgiveness
They asked for his help, and offered their allegiance
He was no longer to be only their savior, but their king as well

The Exiled was shocked at the reception he received
Taken aback, confused and not knowing how to react
Until he thought of what he was given
And laughed menacingly, like those of the battles of old

He saw the chance to put out all the pain he felt
After being exiled before, and now he's back
To fully control the people who chained him with weakness
And free to do whatever he wickedly wishes
Just ******.
The pure in heart are the only ones who can know what it means to be supremely happy. Their hearts are pure toward God and, as a result are pure toward their fellowmen. They are happy because, in possessing Him who is All and in All, they envy no man’s worldly goods. They are happy because they envy not another man’s praise. Because they are the enemy of no man, they regard no man as their enemy. The result is peace with God and the world.
Once I called myself “Illuminati”
Of the god attendant “Annunaki”
Whence I said “stupid majority”
To the fellowmen of my country

For once I considered me a decoy
Of someone high who can employ
A major disturbance against PNoy
Just like playing cards for toy

Ungrateful, unthankful – they labeled me
Parables laden to rebuke discreetly
As the said majority surrounds me
Drained I all of temerity

Mine – four months of transgression
Theirs – eighteen months of retribution
Forlorn me to concise perdition
Hear my call of reconciliation!

Now this moment of abeyance & disconnectivity
I can feel how my country hates me
Watching the extent of my stupidity
Eat & sleep idly to eternity?!

My hands in between
Knives from my fellowmen
All sharp, they sheen
Hot to trot, eager to win
Yet no fear, I’ll go closer
Stab me then, the harder, the better!
Won’t feel it anyway
My mind’s at peace, won’t let you play
Instead, I’ll carry you, I’ll lift you up
You’ll hear me cheer, you’ll hear me clap
And under you, you’ll see a glowing face
It’s me who won over my yesterday’s race
