Color Me Yellow
Bright,
bright,
yellow.

I grew up knowing
to never look at the sun,
to just trust it was there.

I was taught,
to never look forward,
if the light is yellow.
"Prepare to stop."

I don't see color anymore,
except red.
except when the pain in my eyes
almost reached a different pain on my thighs.

we're Bright
even when nobody can ever see it
nor direct or indirect
Nor behind or in front.
nor in front or above you,

hanging like the photos of
when I used to be happy.

Bright,
bright
Yellow.

let the poems
live in you.
let the words know you.
let them wear you
like a skin.
then
you will know them.
they will burst out from you
like flowers on the ground
and you will be the spring.
Let us take a drive
to a road where flowers
are smiling upon us.
To a road where
the smell of summertime
is flowing through our veins.
The breeze of the wind
that carries the wishes
of the dandelions.
To a road where
every word uttered
by our lips
are syrups of chocolate
and strawberry.
To a road where
the stars shine the brightest
when we look up the nightsky.
To a road where
smile is all you will see.
My friend,
it takes a mile
to smile.
It takes a while
to smile.
Always hold unto hope, and smile.

It's funny I seem to think,
How small your mind is,
I think it still shrinks.

It's tiny.....little and small.
I think we all get it,
It's anything but tall.

You have no perception,
You're riddled with fear.

You question all the others,
Just why are you here?

Is there something your missing?
A lie you've yet told?

Are you ashamed too?
Of the secrets you hold?

You see,I stand in the sun.
With my arms open wide

I'm proud of who I am,
Yet you cower inside.

Away in the shadows,
Screaming out lies.

No I am not a coward,
I love who I desire,

Maybe one day you'll learn how
To extinguish your fire.
It's taken me a long time to finally believe, I am who I am. This is for anyone who has ever hated for the wrong reasons. Love is love.

Her soft pale goddess skin
Had not been sun kissed
In six harsh months
While earth above
Also suffered much
Demeter’s sorrow was shared
Condemned
By godly men
A starving child
Ate one pomegranate
Now her captor demanded
She must suffer in this hellish cave
It’s always the gods
That come up with
The strangest harshest ways

I'm tired of you haunting me.
If only you'd let me sleep.
Instead of the noises
and voices that are still unfamiliar...
I wish you'd remind me of his.
I'd rather be drowning in a sea I cannot drown in, that only leads to an endless abyss
than wake up in a panic, reminded of this.

Stop yourself from loving me.
Nothing good will come out in the end.
Hold back your tears while I carry on.
Or else I keep taking away your feelings

We can't stay like this anymore.
You need to forget me.
You rejected me first.
You deserve it.

Stay away from me, you’re hurting yourself.
Work your heart out while being torn apart.
It’s not my fault you’re like this.
Why won’t you listen.

I’m going crazy, I’m sick of your ****.
In the end I’m still going to win.
Pack up your emotions and leave my life.
You’re turning my world upside down.

Stay like this and regret it.
I’d rather have you hate me.
You’re not the one for me.
And sure as hell I don’t want you here.

You begged to stay as I pushed you away.
Tears fell down your cheeks, as you got on your knees.
You screamed at me as I was walking away.
I didn’t hear it, because I couldn’t care less about you.

Just another day, and you’re gone from my side.
I couldn’t help but feel happy.
But after that I never saw you again.
And nobody knew who you were.

*Then I realized you were just a part of my Imagination.
