I am calm and swell
but also a storm that
will never burn out

Morning dusk looms
and hunts furiously
across the whole earth
chasing the dark.

In conflict together
for the upcoming light.
Night is soon
succumbed to dawn.

But already makes
dark plans again,
to banish the light
once more
before nightfall

Fall changes erase
the cheap substance of summer
with holiday joys.

Multicolor leaves,
multicolor lights with turkey
delights and kinship.
It's fall! My favorite time of the year  =]

The sunflower reaches up:

Tall and proud

Vainly striving to reach the sky:

A Sisyphean task.

For the wind batters;

Bruises as it nears.

Faces forced to bow.

Stems snapped like broken backs.

Nevertheless, they still believe.

Winter comes: a forced retreat.

Petals wither and fall.

Reduced, reused, recycled.

No longer of interest

To bees, birds and we

Who only see the first

Flush of beauty.

Returned unto the soil.

The grass against our skin,
We look at the clouds, and feel the wind
Behind those clouds, just in our gaze
A Strawberry Sunset is set ablaze

As quick as the day began,
Mother nature has a different plan

The Strawberry red, turns to grey
As more clouds roll in, ruining the day
We look at eachother, racing down the hill
Was this date worth it, or was this God’s Will?

As the rain comes settling in,
We sit together, and you start to grin.

I apologize, for the weather outside.

But you say to have no worries, because I’m by your side.

I don't want to talk about the world.
I don't want to talk about the future
Or the past.
I don't want to talk about how old I feel or how the years fly by so fast.
I don't want to talk about my day.
I don't want to talk about the weather.
What I do want to talk about
Is what you need to make you feel better.

O diver, crush this body of union, to possess
a greater diamond.
Alas, all earthly joy is crushed by the wet
weather.
All spirituality seems to turn back to the
dust.
Spiritual images, though seen, are not felt.
Spirit only reaches out, but finds just another
human, some invisible princess to grasp with its
tentacles.
Should I pray, meditate, study, practice, smoke, or do nothing.

I stood atop
a mountain;
beneath was
everything I am.
I grinned when
I felt the wind
and nodded to
my inner man..
No doubt I've
seen some troubles;
crevices etched
in my terrain
from the rushing
roar of rivers
brought by days
of relentless rain,
but these scars,
they tell the stories
of the storms
I've had to weather
and serve as a
reminder that
these storms
don't last forever..
Hang in there
