I gave you what you needed, but it wasn't what you wanted.
You gave me what I wanted, but it wasn't what I needed.
You took my heart, my time, my trust.
Only to find out,  all you had for me was lust.
I took your smile, your freedom, your pain.
Only to find out, that it was all just in vain.
Our souls intertwined and our bodies were confined.
Linked to one another, it's true that love is blind.
A chemical reaction, causing ripples out in space.
A cosmic implosion with but one thing out of place.
Giving each other glimpses of who we could be.
Showing each other things that no one else could see.
Banging  the drums, we didn't skip a beat.
Playing too quickly;  we couldn't take the heat.
The sound was so sweet; you let me hear your voice.
Like waves crashing on the beach, I didn't have a choice.
Lulling me to sleep, with every single note.
Waking you up, each time I rocked the boat.
Before we knew it, we were beginning to sink.
Polluting the waters, without a chance to think.
With all of my strength, I brought you back to the shore.
Leaving me adrift, I won't see you anymore.
For my love.

I despise social media.
It's ugly, to state the obvious
Our lives are posted, retweeted, altered, reblogged, perfected, and photoshopped to exactly how we want to be perceived
We have the freedom to be exactly what they want us to be.

It starts with a few edits doesn't it,
pigmented our skin to seem smooth and sun kissed,
that would seem most acceptable right?
Maybe an extra like for the skinnier waist.
More reassurance for brighter colors.
Some more filters will hid the emptiness you feel with your friends

And when we managed to unlock ourselves from this grasp
We always come back
Like flies to light, more like scratches to a scab
Festering we find ourselves getting ****** back in
To an imaginary world, that if destroyed, would have no physical effects on their fictional beings
For without this world, maybe eyes will open
We will step past the boundaries,
and start to love our beings
unfiltered
I really do not like the social norms of having the staples of social media, it is a toxic area that traps us in an infinite loop of trying to upgrade one another

Love is hard to compare,
Within two things; bear or surrender,
But never said that it's unfair,
That even you don't like me, I don't care.

Should I tell myself to stay?
Or should I better tell myself to go away?
But I don't know what to do anymore,
That I should leave you or better nurture

Thinking of you made my dreams filled,
But ****, you're so fully-skilled,
Making my heart easily race,
Even though that you are in a distant place.

Moreover, why are you so stubborn?
Can't you please let me have my turn?
Which is only staring and playing with you that I am hoping for,
I don't care if it might only today or forevermore.

Although that I had confessed my feelings to you,
Why did you suddenly skew?
When you didn't answer me properly and purely,
That is; if you prefer to be with me.

People are certainly right,
That it is futile to fight,
Because in the end, no one will even stay,
They are just going to leave us in an obnoxious yet painful way.
love is hard

Looking all my efforts getting swept away in the ocean of nothingness,
My eyes have rained...
-A rain washing up all the broken pieces of those efforts,
Those efforts in vain,
Left my eyes filled with pain,
& an unknown emptiness...
-With a promise with myself to never do those efforts again...
Those efforts in vain have broken my heart, & now I have left doing any effort now...

We are all so vain

We cannot even stitch our own cloth,
Or eat any food that is further than our own lands-
Everything we do has to be in line with everyone else's...
Naked, pail bodies.

As giant astroids plummet towards us-
The skies spiraling with streaks of purple and red;
Colors we've never seen before.

We worry more about running away

Than looking up at the sky.

We cry for our soon demise

But we never once think of it as a new beginning.

We are so absent-minded these days.
Everyone is so society oriented, that we don't have a mind for ourselves. We can't have our own obscure opinions and interests, without people expressing their negative views and opinions upon us. Always remember: those people only dream of getting the confidence you have ;)

Vain in their minds
Hearts filled with lust for darkness
Not all tongues are wise

Temples not sacred
Turn the sweet into sour
Numb, enslaved to vice
Vanity. Pride. Narcissism.
The deadliest sin of all
And it rules our society, more so now than ever...
Sad that it's now our culture.
I'm not saying I'm perfect or anything - I'm human. I've ******* up,
but still...
Be back soon

trees luxuriate,
dog’s life gets soggy and vain;
isn’t the rain same?

The Devil softly spoke,
To the foolish earthly folk:
By idiocy you are enslaved,
Your morals are depraved.

Set your souls free,
For I proudly foresee -
With might, you may reign
And without masks of vain.

You will be saved from emotional pain,
You won’t have a reputation to maintain,
Worldly pleasures will be yours to obtain,
Treasures will be easy to maintain.

You just have to set yourself free,
You must set yourself completely free!
Free from rotten morals of progress,
From the false virtues of the virtueless.

...the Devil advocated for his ways,
Who he deemed fitting for our days.
And while it might sound repulsive,
This is also a preposition compulsive.

Now I speak: the world is doomed,
By its own idiocy, it is consumed.
The morals had gone wrong and vile
Ancient virtues are out of style!...

Ergo hear me and set free,
For I too proudly foresee -
With vigour, you shall reign
If you drop the masks of vain.
