The moon rose up
and the moon looked down
She’s watched the Earth
spin round and round

And kingdoms rose
and empires fell
The moon just waxed
and waned a spell

Her one bright eye
has seen it all —
she’ll still be there
long after we fall

for every thing, there is a time
for every song, there is a fitting moment
for every angel, a wee devil lurks
for every spring, its autumn

for every taste, there is a canvas blank
for every brush, there is a stroke unfinished
for every soul, there is a soul to spark
for every universe, a mind undiminished

for every beating heart, there is a dream to dream
for every happy day, there is a week of sorrow
for every wicked game, there is a sumptuous scene
for every yester-day, a million of to-morrows

for every tear you cry, there is a genuine smile
for every doubt you shed, there is a triumph to follow
for every faux pas, there's a saving grace
for every second gone, a million of to-morrows
can't help falling in love

Oh human how low can you be?
In your eyes, I see
A loneliness you cannot keep.
Why do you feel this way?
Must your soul linger in twilight's sway?
Or maybe I've been looking at you the wrong way?

Look closer and see;
Through this mirror, there's a limit to what you can be.
After all, what it means to truly see
Is by closing your eyes and then breathe—

One, two and three...

Take a look inside,
Where nothingness and darkness abound.
Then came a cosmic bang—
Matter racing, light spills across the sky,
As the universe burst to life

Day by day, this universe expands.
Through stars, we meet
And moments we make stand.

Dreams to fulfill in the bloom of your prime,
Steady and bold, like mountains climbing high,
Values sculpted by the passage of time,
And desires stretching beyond the endless sky.
Home to myriad of galaxies,
Where stars like waves crash in cosmic seas,
Holds the wisdom of ages long past,
A race known for eons to last.

All these years of existence welling up inside,
Hidden truths unseen by the naked eye.
So for a fleeting moment,
embrace the tide;
For you are more than a label or a guise.

Just like the universe, forever in motion,
Born from the void, a spark of creation,
You are not just a mere flesh in the trials we bear;
You hold galaxies within you, infinite and rare

An ever-expanding universe, that is who you are.

I'm not moving straight,

I am a piece of something --

bigger that rotates.

The stars are tears
shed by the Universe,
as it yearns for an ounce of solace
in the vast, empty place above
where it's accustomed to survive,

Despite an obscure reluctance
we've all grown too familiar with--
burden heavy on its shoulders,

In spite of young children
wishing upon it every time the moon ascends,
revealing its ephemeral, yet foolish glow.
we're similar to it in more ways than one, are we not?

Following two decades time
A human transforms
Into an exploding cosmos
In the desolate void

Floating away
Flickering light
Questions of purpose
In the haze of dismay

Fear not of this barren
Let it fuel the flame
Move further and farther
In the deepest of abyss

For the cosmos within
Will unfold and evolve
The lessons as your light
In the dark, cold rise

Remember these words
As you travel through space
You are bizarrely infinite
A celestial design
A poem about how being in your 20s feels like a celestial phenomena.

I know,
I will recognize him,
with just one glance.

My mind may forget,
but my soul remembers.

Our souls entwined,
for eternity,
will continue to love,
growing together,
until the universe fades.

I love him,
without truly knowing,
without ever meeting.

I know,
I will recognize him,
with just one glance.
I feel a spiritual love....................................................^_^

In your eyes, I see the whole world
I see a story, desperate to be told
I see the universe.
I see in your eyes the darkest of nights
And the dusty stars of forever light
I see whole galaxies
And it is the most wondrous sight.

We swore on each other with false trust
The universe was chasing both of us
And no poem can ever retell
The fire in my heart from a burning hell
We're simply both moths, scavenging for the light
And we must've bumped into each other on a cold, dreary night
And when you starve, you'll eat anything
So I must've confused this nightmare with a dream
