"her hand in his, he became her tomorrows."

Time keeps moving forward,
But I am in the same place as yesterday.
Everything evolved in the span of two days,
But has my heart? Has my soul?

My mind is a time machine
Swinging between the past and the future.
When will it learn to live in the present?
When will I make the best of today?
Hopefully tomorrow

I feel like I'm competing for your love. But, you know I hate to lose and right now I'm in last place. I'm running out of breath trying to stay in sight. I'm beginning to feel like a burden in the race, to your life and to your face. I fell way to hard but you didn't catch me. Let me drown in my sorrows for another day.
While you live your best life knowing you broke me again tomorrow.
I love you. But, it's sad to say US is my wildest imagination.

Where the horizon ends
Is a world unhinged by the gravity of
A heart.
A world as mysterious as tomorrow
That seems to be so full of possibilities
That we couldn’t possibly count them all.
A world where no human could go because of the chains that it would
Break upon entering.
A world that we can reach for but never quite
Touch.
A world that marks a start for some and an
End for others.
A beautiful world that can be seen but never looked at.
That can be imagined but never guaranteed.
As deep as the sky and as mysterious as an ocean.
A world that beckons.
A world that saves.
And a world that destroys.
An intricate tapestry that has so very many strings
That all depend on each other.
A world that you can only notice on the line
Where the horizon ends.

A poem about a world completely different from ours.

I think I’m low in potassium
Or maybe feeling loved
The world is perfect
When It revolves around the sun
The birds and trees
Live life through and through
I could run for many miles
Dreaming I could be with you

How many parsecs do I have to run
Before I realize
I’m not the one you want
You can wait ten lifetimes
Wishing they’ll arrive
You’ll drown in your sorrows
When they’ll fail to show you love
But hold on til tomorrow
Someone else will steal your heart

“I
Love
You “

Those were the words
That never left my lips

They were always there
Sitting on the edge
A daunting drop
Awaiting the ground beneath them

Those were the words
That never came out

It didn’t feel safe

And so I’m still waiting
for a day
that will never come

But if you can hear me now
know
That I loved you yesterday
and I will love you
until there are no more
tomorrows

There is a coldness, a bitterness that grows with fervor
glancing back to younger days, days wild with unexpecting
with lips pulled back, bracing teeth for tomorrow, holding *****.
Grit, I have none. I fear a wrinkled future, not the body, dreams:
Like a plant that goes to waste for weekends left unwatered,
Like a mad purple bruise throbs at night, lest you forget (fool!)
I've been feeling murky lately, and I haven't been here in a while

My problem with tomorrow is
Not foretold by the sky.
It’s not the Autumn morning rain
That comes, and pours, then dies.

My problem with tomorrow is
Not poverty or war.
It’s not the type of moving fear
That braver men stand for.

My problem with tomorrow is
Not quite a fear of death.
It’s not a fear of knowing which
Will be my final breath.

My problem with tomorrow is
The same as everyone’s.
My problem with tomorrow is
Tomorrow always comes.
My first attempt at written poetry.
