In a flash of silent thunder
You appeared like an angel
The rain wetting your hair
Sticking to your face
Your wings were made of light
Void of liquid
No feathers to be matted by precipitation
You cast upon me your gentle gaze of stone like jade
Your white gown was weighed down by nothing but water from the clouds
There was no sun to brighten the planet
You lit up the entire earth by simply being
My heart falters as I think back to that moment
You fell to the ground, wings dimming as the moon rose
I had fallen to my knees
In awe of the beauty of dying seraphim
Tears mingled with the sobbing of the sky
I didn't dare to come any closer
But I could hear your sweet words
Poetry sang in my ears
Love songs told stories of a life I would never know
Until that point
I had thought I understood what it meant to live
But I could never truly live
Nor could I understand

You said I reminded you of the rain,
and I said you reminded me of the sunset.
You said that you'd stick by me
even if there was some thunder.
I said I'd stick by you
long enough to see every sunrise.

But then, there was some thunder,
and some lightning,
and the rain you thought you knew so well
turned out to be a hurricane.

You didn't stay, but to this day
I still watch every single sunset
and wake up early
to see the sun rise.

They took shelter under a tree
During a pouring storm.
Two lightning rods pulsating
With pent-up fire and love.
Without thinking, they interwove
and the long kiss she let him share
was merely the opening to a door,
leading down a hallway
of earthly, sentient pleasures,
whose vibrating song
traveled through them both,
echoes becoming thunder
and dew on their skin turning to tears,
to the rain of passion that took days to spend.
Or, once in many times,
A lifetime.

i heard a distant thunder
acknolgment of truth
it called me to make a wonder
from memories of youth

sat upon the stairs afraid
heard a painful cry
asking for assistance
i sat upon the stairs afraid

wander while I ponder
wonder when I'm farther
out sea, just me, pisces
underwater, wonder if I can feel thunder
running from each other
wonder who can go farther
light green, I am a rusty lover
underneath, wonder if I can get better

from your eyes, springs forth juniper
carefree and warm like waves of summer
glittering rays of gold frolic through the blinds
highlighting you, every perfect curvature
eager, but steady, your lips invade my body with purpose
gentle, but sure, your hands explore my entire surface
as if I were created solely to satisfy your need for rapture
when you enter my world, time stills – thunderous and deliberate
yet, like lightning, you electrify my entire being
I sigh at the exhilaration, my fingers clutch the sheets beneath me
I yearn for them to travel to your favorite place within me

The sound of wind bounces against my bedroom window,
and the roar of thunder soon follows,
but despite all that noise,
all I can focus on is you.

Gazing down into those gentle green eyes,
I know that I'll never want anything else.
I could see everything through you,
and the softness in your look
is enough to never let go.

i love
springtime
rain.

Huge thunderstorm
came through
here
last night.

Bright flashes of
lightening,
torrential downpour
cascading down.

Raindrops
batterting
Mother Earth's
thirsty ground.

Puppyhead did not
love it
like i.

She took herself
off to her stair.

The thunder booming
and
shaking,

My poor puppyhead
laid trembling there.

Unable to comfort
her,
to make her understand
how wonderful
this storm is.

Perhaps she feels
something
deeper than me?

More power,
more energy
of
that storm
raging there?
