they say that love never dies
could never curl and  bawl and cry
love is the purest of all emotions
even turbulent and torrid
it is pure, never horrid

but I'm tired of loving you
or seeing your jaw, you finger, your tooth
and feeling a rush of fear
that i will never escape from this anxious pit of unclear
good intentions and impure thoughts
so i do what i am taught

i slog through the love, the lust
the misplaced affections because i need, i must
be graced with one smile, a small glimpse
even if my feelings you already dismissed

i was going to tell you,  don't you know?
i was going to knock my feelings off their petty throne
i thought that maybe if i let it all out
i would not feel a gout
of excitement for the forbidden feelings

that maybe i could stop pealing
in laughter at the smallest thing
when i thought you weren't looking, as i watched you sing
that i would have the control of my buzzing desire
but now i refuse to fan the fire

my friends still egg me on.
Valentines Day is on Saturday, what could go wrong?
I've found that people are great at giving advice
when it wont affect them even once or twice

but they know that you know off my misplaced affection
you see it now in every inflection
she lied and told you behind my back
and then asked me to cut her some slack
when now that tenuous friendship we once had was broken

and i only ask you to give me a token
of admitting your silence
rings out louder
than any no
... lesson well learned. and i will have to see him again, and again, and again, four hours a day, every day

Glistening in the darkness
Beating with the stones
Beneath the brightest skies
You are the altar of
My ancient heart
The only cage
That can hold
My wings

There is no illusion
In the arms of Your spiritual crown
What is this luminous
Sound that shakes the ground?

Dreams are crashing like
Waves of sacred concentration
When I bow down to the art
You have created me to be
Of what I have become
Your breath You are
The drumming in
My heart

Without You I am not the
Life force breathing and swimming
That You created to dance and swing
In the pools of Your beloved eyesight
Your star streaming mindfulness
Is a cosmic vital essence
I am awakened to in the
Ultimate blessing of
Your bliss

Possession of every needlessness
Begins in believing that everything
I thirst for is quenched in the
Uninterrupted space of
Your immortal
Embrace

Perched eternally in the purple tree
Of Your heart

May I remain with Thee
On the Divine lap of Thine
Breathtaking cosmic wilderness
Resting in Your deathless
Throne of Love

Here on earth or in heaven above
I can feel your heartbeat for
It is the same pulse
That is within me
Glistening in the darkness
Beating with the stones
Beneath the brightest skies
You are the altar of
My ancient heart
The only cage
That can hold
My wings

Looking at these fancy pictures
Wondering what it's like
To be on the other side.

Taking this step
Is just not enough.
Looking out into the night
Wondering what it takes
To feel alive.

Everyday it's the same thing
Pick it up and go.
Not thinking twice about
What it is that's being me down.
I run to the place.

Welcome to the kingdom.
No one dares to make it past
Our gates.
Golden thrones,
Silver swords...
We got it all.

And I say,
Welcome to the kingdom.

This bloodshed is long lived.
Ready for the fight,
Because we got something better than
Cold lies.

We got it good in this palace.
Decieving eyes,
Wild minds,
Steel built hearts,
Undefeated and strong.

Even when the darkness
Demands a war.
We smile,
There's nothing to wait for.
Not thinking twice about what it is
That can stop us now.
We run.

Here in the kingdom,
We bring them down.
Fire to ashes.
Here in the kingdon,
We bring them down.
Snow to ashes.

Welcome to the kingdom.

As i walked the lengthy distance,
from the back row seat to the first.
I began to sense right then...
my project would be the worst.
Yet all the time i put in,
i figured I'd pass with a low B
and still as i walked that distance .
I knew it'd be a lower than a C...
listening as each person shared,
Their truly real short story...
i fidgeted and wiggled..
and really started to worry.
The teacher said to write
what came to mind.
Like childhood or family...
to make it one of a kind.
And yet somehow my mind still wandered
to a place still unknown...
i wrote about a womans death...
And how death had claimed the throne.
In English class i shared that project
in the front of that small space...
i read each word that i had typed,
not a syllable out of place.
When i was done my head was low,
i refused to meet their stare.
I sauntered back quietly
To my lonely back row chair.
It was then i saw my teacher smile
and simply nod his head,
it seems that my project was viewed
As a painful loss of the dead.
Little do they know,
i did not relate...
that story that i wrote...
was simply notes by my dinner plate...

Battles raged on for
the cold, iron throne.
Kings were slaughtered
of origins, unknown.

Misery and death,
that’s what it bred.
That throne, so cold,
to destruction, it led.

Rebels had risen
to claim the throne
whose kingdom from hatred
had slowly grown.

The hunger for power,
the thirst to rule.
The throne turned
the wisest, into a fool.

The land was soaked
with blood that was shed.
That throne, so cold,
to destruction, it led.

In a kingdom built of hate,
with pillars of lies,
stands the cold, iron throne
as it’s glorious prize.
Game of Thrones, anyone?

i have a throne made of gold
built it with the lies you told me
it grows taller each day,
and faster each minute

i sit in the clouds now
on this ridiculous golden pedestal
i can never live up to what you think i am
it is everything i'm not

she sat on a driftwood throne
at her feet lay the ruins of a stone man
her hair a wild world of winds draws you into her hurricane eyes
her lip a forest of meanings tender and soft
a single loose tear like a wild horse run free
she sat on a driftwood throne in all her glory
sun and salt water cadence to the living breathing dream
song of existence untainted

and now another song intrudes
one of loves lionhearted and bold
seafarer's son come of age
come seeking courtship of her soft hand
to be bound in the silken desire's both hot and sweet
and the dark ones such shy girl dare not speak

he brushes away the sand from her soft thigh
and within his mind romances such sweet
tender spot with a reign of kisses
but just then she arose graceful like the soft beatings of dove's wing
and emerging from the veil of his minds fanciful dreams
she laid before him her sandpaper eyes
so intense that summer sounds
like children at play and such soothing tones
could not hide her behind
he withdraws still no more than a child in her eyes
she desires a stronger, a true love
one that is not a fleeting fancy dream
one of a man who can speak his heart

the sand had invaded her driftwood throne
so into the dusk she sauntered slowly
with graceful flow
trailing his eyes behind her like glories of wishes
like worshiping doves
for such beauties perfection
he will return some day a man
once he has learned

On top of the world, without no recognition.
Lonely on top when your there's only one position.
You must recognize that I am not in best condition.
The toll to stay the strongest has took a vast commision.

If you don't understand me then you must be standing under me.
A life of isolation is bringing out the beasts in me.
A rebellious cast out kid will take these trophies home.
Life is bottoms up so i live up on a throne.
