Speaking of broken hearts
and mended fenced in mem'ries
I am painting skies
of tangerine, saffron
& an illuminated lilac hue
against the starkly contrasted crisp cornflower blue, stretching canvas that is
along with all the
other blindingly beautiful colors of a twilight sky

And those dripping cotton candy stratospheric clouds
Ice crystals freezing into supercooled
water droplets
Streaking the sky in cirrus whispers
..I hear them whisper, "hello"...

Blinding beauty
through unadulterated sunlight
I am fleeced like a lamb
watching in awe,
..in wonder
then stomping sounds
of coming thunder,

Finding depth and height
out  in the stratosphere
Blinded by the
After Light
or afterglow
affected by the amount of haze
I'm in a daze
...as I am reaching

High above the fading light
of a brilliant early fall sunset
I take a big breath
of that sumptuous air
and twirl my skirted legs
my painted toes
where I know
I am back
to solid ground

Appreciating the last time
I say sleep well
to you  my dear
summertimes sweet mem'ries
and the fun we had this year.

Wow....idk. Felt inspired.

I know you have to leave
By the time summertime comes to an end.
You'll have to finally get dressed,
Your bare silhouette won't peer out
From the bathroom anymore.
No more nights at the corner bar
Talking of your mothers suicide.
The first Saturday you took me
Into my first gay club,
You took me down under the floorboards
To a night of aching and desire.
I had no idea I could look into your
Emerald eyes the way I did
While seeing a reflection of an ocean
With your face painted on the surface.
that first Saturday.
But baby I know summertime needs you back.
You need to go back to the oceans
Circling islands with no names.
I'll see you again when the summer wants
To send you back to your home.
You'll let me feel then what it
Feels like to feel inside you.
I can keep on edge till then.
I'll miss the taste of your strawberry lips
The first time you let me
Strip down and undress my pride
In the pool outside your house.
Just tell the summertime you have
Someone back home who needs you.
Please find this.

Loathing upon the
Object of awaking in the
Summertime can be quite
Tenacious.

Dreamy eyes of browns
Opaque ceramic coffee cups in
Grassy fields by
Tired blackberry bushes
And, most of all, a
Gaping sensation of finality and
Sunshine.

Now I'm wondering if I will
Ever find as
Vibrant a friend as you and your
Reasonable explanations, for lack of a better word.

Flying, close your eyes and
On you'll go, far over the skyscrapers, you'll find
Utopia, and I'll find our conversations of
November through June, and drink a thousand cups of your
Dark roast.

Maybe it's strange, but I'll miss your 10 a.m.
Eyelashes and all our lovely times.

On the sidewalk an egg you could fry
My bones are starting to liquify

Diggin' in the dirt
have a little fun
drink a little beer
have another one

Sun is really hot
and I just want to play
gotta go outside
gotta get away

Go swimming at the crick'
Maybe catch a fish
cook it on the bank
we don't need a dish

Get a little tan
get a little burn
Doesn't really matter
cuz I'll bet we'll never learn

Grab onto the rope
and come on for the ride
It's way too nice out here
for you to stay inside!

recognize the familiar rat-a-tat-tapping on your window,
pull the worn blinds and close the sheer curtains,
extinguish every bright light for the time being,
patiently wait criss-crossed on your bed with book in hand,
listen for the humming to cease (silence),
and return back to normal life
as the junebug survives another night.

April has been full of warmth.
April has been a lovely dream.

Golden sunshine in between book pages,
butterflies fluttering in their cages.
Still summer afternoons, a loving sigh,
walking under the moonlit sky.
Spontaneous evening rendezvous,
midnight musings ensue.

Walking behind to steal glances,
the heart silently prances.
Memorizing the curves of each hair,
tracing the freckles on skin so fair.
Talking about love and nonchalance,
coy smiles as a response.
A cigarette between her fingertips,
I gaze longingly at her glossed lips.

After endless dialogue,
it is time for the epilogue.

None of the rays of sunshine
would deign this waxy skin,
just sand burned to ashes,
regurgitation from the slobbery hysteria
of the filthy sea.
None of these days of summertime
would violate my inner ancestral frost.
Red dragon of stone, this soul of mine
beneath the labyrinthine ghost,
of the wicked fate.
The stoic age wears the same livery,
in the smoke of my hyperuranium
no scream comes over this far
where the solid patience
is the only certainty
that dwells inside my self.

i found you
beautiful in spring

strange power
together we danced
human contact is a funny thing

like the lightning
that struck the tree
your smile captured my mind
it used to be free
now your eyes
are the only thing i see

because you are the most
beautiful work of art, I've ever seen
and my head filled with you,
is the most gorgeous place i've ever been
I cant deny that you take my soul with every kiss,
please, don’t leave, make me at least believe,
that I am always in your mind, it doesn’t matter the pain,
I could be by your side till the end…
I love touching your long brown hair, while is hit by the air,
sitting in a beach chair, enjoying the breeze there,
I am reading your body like if it were a paper,
with you I would go anywhere, you are my sweet girl…
You take me apart, to that place where the love is art,
it's like a world apart,  what a freaking impact,
when you hugged me, when you touched me,
when you look at me and you say you love me.
You know me, and you know I can not lie, I am right
when I treat you like me treasure.
Is a pleasure being with you and tell everybody that you’re my girl
I’m sure, don’t you ?
By me, The Raven.
