In the absence of your radiant glow,
The world has grown dim and muted,
Once vibrant, now draped in shadows,
The flowers that bloomed now wilt and wither,
Their beauty fading in the stillness.
The warmth and comfort you once offered
Are now a distant echo,
Like whispers fading into the void.
Darkness creeps, a subtle tide,
The stars flicker, their brilliance dimmed,
In their place, a hollow remains.
Has your light been swallowed whole?
Yet I cradle the ember of hope,
A flicker in the heart of desolation,
Stars begin to twinkle, a celestial gleam,
Their light, a reflection of your shining soul.
Your spirit ignites within me,
My sunshine

I was a Moon in a dark abyss
Wandering alone in tormented solace
As aimlessly as a fish in bowl
Glumly glad within my alien abode

In a spur _ you appeared from Nowhere
A Blackhole pulling me towards its angelic snare
Rearranging the space time fabric

To a whole new world
mystifying yet aesthetic

And I couldn't resist, for that Benignity
set my heart ablazed _
filled its Valence shell
Entwined with you I will step in eternity soon
Hoping, your floral rugs bear stars and moons..!!

Pressed against you like paper and ink
through the rolls of a printer.
Stories read to children
to help them sleep at night.

The author’s prized creation:
solar systems of endless
chances repeated
with each bursting supernova.

We could have a sky:
habitable or raining diamonds
or the catalysts for life ready to procreate.
Chemical reactions fusing into flames.

We are a fragile anomaly
of lives and worlds colliding.
We are words printed
across this infinite universe.
The conflicting feelings of a relationship (romantic or platonic) being intentionally aligned by a creator and the coexisting feeling that your lives are part of an uncontrollable chemical reaction, and every moment is a game of chance.

Poetry is the window to my soul
The key to my vault
The telescope to my planet

My soul is a brick wall
Heavily fortified
And unbreakable
My mind is a vault
Keeping my thoughts and secrets Locked safely away
My heart is a planet
That can only be seen clearly
Through the right lens

My life is like a challenging riddle
And poetry is the answer to it all

my girlfriend
told me I needed to sit down
                                                  before hearing it
her sylphlike fingers hovering over
                                                            my cut-up cuticles
with eyes hovering past my head
                                                          uncommitted
but convincingly connected to my soul
                                                                  immovable

just then
Unidentified Flying Objects
                                                crashed into our chat
through the tense atmosphere
and down to where we sat
their gaze lasting light-years
                                                 and blasting neon beams
into the split ends of my hair
setting fire to my precious dreams
and splattering brains onto her mini-skirt
                                                                        it was an ugly affair

to end
if i were alive
                        to recount their excursion
i'd add she stepped over
                                           the ****** matter
hopped aboard the mothership
                                                       with no coercion
and was never seen
                                  without her extraterrestrial lovers
again
another experimental piece :p

In your eyes, I see the whole world
I see a story, desperate to be told
I see the universe.
I see in your eyes the darkest of nights
And the dusty stars of forever light
I see whole galaxies
And it is the most wondrous sight.

In a dream
I was sitting on the grass at night
hands splayed behind me to support my weight

I looked up, staring at the same old constellation
until one star at the edge fractured
a few pieces brightly trailing down

and then everything exploded
a nebula bloomed to take up a piece of the sky
celestial green with
an aura pulsing outward in waves
as if calling me to another edge of the universe

I tried to film it
zooming in and the layers kept going
detail upon detail
depth upon depth

now sitting in my bed, I'm wondering what it all means.
Written about one of the most vivid dreams I've had in a long time.

Unfortunately once I hate you
It’s infinite
It grows and furls in every space of my mind
Unfortunately once I love you
I’m bound to hate you
