Lay here with me
On this bed of white duvet.
Your hair flowing, free,
Wind and snow making a duet.

Snowflakes fall like kisses.
Melting on your golden skin.
Here I am making wishes,
To never leave your being.

Realm of cold
But here you are, warm and gold.
Your hair flowing, free.
Please, lay here with me...

And never leave …
If you're as warm as the sun, then why do I think of you when I see the snow.

You look up
and see
❅ snowflakes ❅ dance
in the air.
You reach out
to catch them,
but they melt
as soon as they feel
your warm palm.
It's just snowing outside and it's so beautiful, so this came to my mind.

The purest form of emotion
                      is a snow flake,
Individual, beauty crystalized.

Unique like every sorrow,
evaporating and descending
         like each tear,
never the same one falls twice.

All is so cold under the moonlight
Each snowflake twinkles on this night
On every last unit which falls to us nearer
Beams of light reflect between flakes like a mirror
The celestial powder inspires an anguished soul
To harden, to shatter, to crumble as a whole
And in the next spring the earth devours the snow
From that sorry inspiration, young roses will grow

I have so many musings
my hands they are complaining,
cuz I can't get them all right,
an so quickly jot them down,

An I feel that I'm connected,
to all my friends and my dear neighbors
an all that I can hear is just is that sound!

Of sweet snowflakes as they're falling,
in the silence sweet n pure,
an so softly as I hear them,
touch the ground,

An soon I'll imagine,
oh a winter wonderland,
in a covering in all you see around,

Those lovely floating wisps,
are so intricate-amazing
those parachuting sprites,
here they abound!

If you ever catch one close up,
well you really really oughta,
cuz the labyrinthine in sight
it will astound!

They are happy little ships afloat,
with an octagonal shape,
landing on all  life,
once sorely browned,

Every child and adult,
is now looking up in awe,
as there smiles turning up ,
instead of frowned!

I thought that I was lost,
an I'd never get to see,

but in poetry it seems-
that  I am found!

The sun plays hide-and-go-seek on a midwinter's afternoon,
Darting constantly towards the next available cloud.
Shielded.
Beside my intermittent shadow flutter my companions,
Guided by the ever-changing, blustery gusts.
The snowflakes follow me home.

Windy, wafting whispers winding through dormant branches,
I hold my breath and count to ten to ignore their murmurs.
Gossiping.
Hazy February clouds conceal indistinct peeps.
Should nobody else join me,
The snowflakes follow me home.

As I pass through the threshold and traipse across the floor,
Legs chilled and wavering over creaky wooden planks.
Weary.
But I glimpse once more, out through tempered glass panes,
Reassured and reveling in the knowledge,
*The snowflakes follow me home.
Thought about this while walking home in a snowstorm.

People should be a little bit brighter
A little bit happier, don't be a miser.

Why is everyone so quick to anger,
So scared of danger and sick on paper.
Get a life, learn to smile you fakers.
Nothing in this world is gonna make it safer.

Misery loves company trust me it's ugly.
They came to be lovely til their feelings need cuddling.
Coddling is more like it, insulating even.
They don't realize they're insinuating treason.

Inciting some violence by some violet snowflakes.
Protesting the silence with science and show dates.

Our heroes reborn, a new purpose and will.
All zeroes now scorned by the true service of skill.
